Chapter 31: Chapter 30: Heaven's Rejection
Ding!
A humanoid curse with pale blue skin and a head covered with rings. The rings had eyes embedded into them and had white angel wings behind their backs.
The eyes on the spinning rings opened, and tens of eyes latched onto Kizaru. Its deep and void-cursed energy was heavy with rejection. The ground cracked under its pressure.
"Great-ugh!" Kizaru suddenly felt heavy, and his body slammed into the ground. Turning elemental, his body smashed into photons before reforming at a distance.
Kizaru watched as the rings covered with eyes glowed a dark black. The curse flapped its wings and flew at lightning speed towards Kizaru. Kizaru reacted and crossed his arms.
Boom!
Kizaru felt his entire arm explode into tiny pieces before a hole appeared in his chest. The curse punched through him like nothing. Kizaru immediately healed as he jumped back.
"This guy... His cursed technique is strange." Kizaru muttered as the curse came to a halt. He recalled the feeling and sighed. It felt like his arm was just erased when the punch landed.
The curse had the cursed technique of heaven's rejection. It allowed the curse to reject the existence of anything physical. It was a one-shot technique.
Kizaru dashed forward, and a flaming punch sent the curse tumbling hundreds of meters into the distance. Kizaru groaned as his fist vanished into a blood mist.
The angel cursed, flapping his wings, and suddenly, tens of feathers as sharp as iron shot out towards Kizaru. They pierced the air and hit the ground.
No sound was made as the ground was just erased from existence. Kizaru was riddled with holes as it regenerated from the photons.
Kizaru turned into a beam and appeared behind the curse. A dark armament covered his leg. With atomic strength, Kizaru's kick struck the curse.
Boom!
The curse turned into a shadow as it flew far outside the village. It crashed into the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust the size of the town.
Kizaru groaned in pain as the lower half of his leg vanished into a cloud of blood. Using rct, Kizaru healed it before landing a few meters from the curse.
"So I can't even touch him without his cursed technique activating... I got something for that." Kizaru's pupils turned dark, and his lips turned up. The curse in the distance was suddenly sucked forward.
"Black Vortex!" Kizaru grabbed the curse by the neck and slammed a punch coated with haki into its chest. A crunch was heard as his fist smashed through its chest before exploding its whole lower body.
"Your technique would make a nice addition." Kizaru taunted as the curse struggled in his hand. Kizaru grasped its heart and squeezed. The curse let out a last veil as its body disintegrated.
Turning towards the villager responsible for the curse. Kizaru let out a sigh before a cruel light appeared in his eyes. Since they don't learn from words, they will learn from fear.
Boom!
A black dome of Haki raged from Kizaru's body. It spread throughout the village and beyond. The ground cracked, and everything darkened from the haki.
"Listen here, you shit stains! I don't care if you continue to worship me! But do it in a way that does not hurt anyone! If I hear you sacrificed someone again. Then I will punish you!" Kizaru's voice boomed across everyone's mind.
His conqueror's haki gave that extra push of fear in their souls. Kizaru's haki was almost like an order their mind could not refute.
"We will do as you say!" The entire village got on their knees as they smashed their foreheads into the ground. Kizaru sighed at the sight before turning to walk away.
"Just live like you did before. And remember that I will be watching." Kizaru left a warning before flying away.
[Allied Nations conference...]
At the forefront was the president of the United States, flanked by the leaders of China and Russia. Behind each leader stood a special-grade sorcerer.
Facing those three giants, other countries like India and other powers. They all had agreed on something after watching the result of Japan revealing the existence of cursed energy.
"We cannot sit idle while they act. We must also reveal the existence of cursed energy," the president declared confidently.
The results in Japan were not as bad as expected. The casualties were only a couple of thousand, not the tens of thousands initially estimated by scientists.
"I agree." China's leader said as he raised his hand. Ling Qu blew a bubble gum as she watched with boredom. She did not care what they were talking about.
She was still thinking of the techniques that Kenjaku traded to them for assistance in attacking Japan. Has he almost learned it by now, and the other countries must be close as well?
"I agree." The Russian leader. Putin said as he raised his hand, his thick Russian accent leaking. Behind him stood a woman with Lilac hair tied into a bun.
Aliya stared coldly at the meeting table. She was only following the orders she was given because she was not being controlled. She was the one giving the orders to Putin behind everyone's knowledge.
The meeting soon ended with the majority agreeing to invade Japan next week. They have to gather troops and make sure that nothing goes wrong.
[Kenjaku.]
A glint of satisfaction passed through Kenjaku's eyes as he looked at the new barrier technique that he created. It was an invisible barrier that surrounded a couple of hundred meters.
It was simple to complete since its only function was to reflect light to the source. Kenjaku turned and walked away with a smile, already planning a way to eliminate Kizaru.
"He is even more of a pain than Satoru Gojo." Kenjaku thought to himself. Throughout the thousand years, he was alive. Kenjaku never saw anyone with as much power as Kizaru.
"Soon, the greatest obstacle in my way will be gone," Kenjaku muttered. He and Sukuna have already formed a plan to eliminate him.
Returning to Kizaru, he flew across the country, eliminating special-grade curses spawned from the negative energy throughout the area.
It was hard to believe how many new curses emerged on the first day of the reveal. However, this will likely decrease as people adjust to the shock.
The shock will fade, and people will get used to it before they know it. Humans are an adaptable species, after all.
Boom!
Blowing another grade 1 curse to bits, Kizaru turned around, and an earpiece flashed as the following location of a strong curse was told to him.
"Alright, next target."
