Chapter 89 Simulation: Chan Yinsha
"Are you guys in such a hurry?"
Zhang Tong's brows furrowed slightly, somewhat perplexed.
She didn't just fail to understand their urgency but also wasn't sure if these two guys were really men at all.
Her features were attractive, and she carried herself provocatively.
At this age, teenagers are typically curious about the opposite sex. She considered herself quite charming and thought that even if she couldn't captivate them completely, she should at least warrant some respect.
But she got nothing from them.
Or could it be that times had changed so quickly that her type was no longer popular?
"We're young, we eat a lot, but we don't have much money," Sun Shisheng offered one reason and then added another, "Also, I need to find a way for unemployed folks like Li Liang, Wang Guang, and others to survive in this city."
"Are you the Sun Shisheng and Wang Chao recently rumored to have subdued a bunch of gang members?" Chan Yinsha was somewhat familiar with this and looked at Sun Shisheng with a strange expression, "You're ten years old? You've developed quite quickly."
Sun Shisheng replied, "Because I am a genius, and in terms of strength, no one in this world is a match for my fist."
Chan Yinsha retorted with disdain, "Anyone can talk big, but who taught you your martial arts skills?"
To defeat over twenty people, they must have at least developed significant power.
Moreover, her own students practiced an aggressive style of martial arts. Now, they all had black-and-blue faces, some even had their bones dislocated.
Even though they could recover with some time and a trip to the hospital, beating so many people proved these two had great talent indeed.
Of course, they must also have had an excellent master.
After all, martial arts, whether it's an external or internal style, requires the guidance of a master to maintain control. Otherwise, it's easy to go astray.
With internal styles, if you train blindly on your own, at worst you might suffer a hormonal imbalance for a while. Stop training, and the body will gradually return to normal.
But with external styles, a small mistake could easily result in disability. Even if one doesn't become disabled, the body's skeleton might get misaligned, leading to deformities.
These two must certainly have a skilled master behind them.
Wang Chao said, "That's a secret, and besides, we don't know each other that well, so why should we tell you?"
Chan Yinsha shrugged her shoulders, then turned to Zhang Tong, "Tong, what do you think, can we get the place ready within a day? After all, it was your suggestion."
"Yes," agreed Zhang Tong. To her, it was just a matter of making a phone call.
"Great, then let's meet in a day," Sun Shisheng nodded, and left the Thai Boxing Gym with Wang Chao and the others.
"Hey, wait. Young brothers, if you have time, come with me for a meal," Zhang Tong followed behind them.
"Tsk."
Chan Yinsha clicked her tongue in secret. She knew that a woman executive like Zhang Tong wouldn't put all her eggs in one basket. Diversified investment was the smart play.
However, Chan Yinsha had her own obsession with martial arts. She was willing to compromise on certain aspects for the sake of managing and developing her gym, but as a martial artist, she had her own pride.
Now that the fight had been brought to her doorstep, she was determined to take back control of the place.
She was intent on showing these young upstarts that they had picked the wrong target!
Outside the Thai Boxing Gym, Zhang Tong caught up, panting slightly. Her delicately coquettish appearance made Li Liang and Wang Guang involuntarily swallow.
They had never seen such a high-caliber beauty before.
"Young brothers, why are you walking so fast? Not even waiting for your sister," said Zhang Tong with a radiant smile. "Why not join me for a meal, how about it?"
Sun Shisheng scrutinized Zhang Tong carefully, then said, "That's possible, but I have quite a few brothers. Is it okay if they come along too?"
Zhang Tong smiled, "Of course."
Sun Shisheng nodded and said to Li Liang, "Li Liang, what are you waiting for? Miss Zhang Tong is treating us. Call your brothers over."
"Alright!" Li Liang hurriedly pulled out a Nokia, and Wang Guang next to him took out a pager and started dialing.
"Uh..."
The smile on Zhang Tong's face froze.
She had intended to invite just Sun Shisheng and Wang Chao, offering a gesture of goodwill on the off chance they made it big in the future. She did not expect Sun Shisheng to be so impolite as to invite a whole bunch of gang members.
If this invitation came to pass, she imagined tomorrow's headlines would scream, "Shock! Top cosmetics company CEO hosts banquet for social youth!"
"Actually, I just remembered I have some matters to attend to, let's have a meal some other time," Zhang Tong made an excuse and quickly left, after which a luxury car drove past them.
Li Liang put down his phone and asked, "Sun, should I call back and cancel lunch?"
Sun Shisheng replied, "No need, I have some savings, we can afford it. Besides, to establish our own dojo, we need to find a good location. Look for one this afternoon."
"No problem at all," Li Liang readily agreed.
After lunch, Li Liang and Wang Guang cheerfully went to look for a suitable location to open a dojo, while Sun Shisheng and Wang Chao planned to visit the next gym.
This area was rife with unlawful gyms.
They picked out two, one for Karate and one for Taekwondo. Neither had strong fighters; Wang Chao defeated them effortlessly.
But since the managers of these two gyms were quite polite, Wang Chao didn't give them too hard a time, simply warning them not to engage in illegal activities anymore.
"Sun, speaking of which, what kind of illegal things are they doing?" Wang Chao was a bit curious, "Drug trafficking? Smuggling?" This content is hosted at M|V|LE^MPYR.
"It's not that serious. These martial arts schools just dodge some taxes, and next comes usury, followed by violence for debt collection," said Sun Shisheng nonchalantly.
"Usury? Debt collection? Is the business of a martial arts school that diverse?" Wang Chao was somewhat baffled.
"What else do you think these small martial arts schools live off? Students' tuition fees?" Sun Shisheng laughed, "In Jiangnan City, the only martial arts school that became big was a Taekwondo gym, which is a branch of the International Taekwondo Association."
"Do I also need to challenge them?" Wang Chao asked.
"Not now. They control the media's voice. If you win, it doesn't count as a win. Moreover, they are a commercially operated Taekwondo gym, they don't have real experts, so there's no point in you going there. But becoming a resident coach there, just to prevent others from issuing challenges, can actually be a profitable venture," Sun Shisheng said with a smile.
"Sun, how could I become a resident coach there? I am your protector and should obviously follow you," Wang Chao immediately said, "Besides, what use would it be for me, someone who doesn't know Taekwondo, to oversee their gym? I probably can't learn anything useful."
"You can't say that, at the very least, you can learn how to conduct yourself in society," Sun Shisheng said with a laugh, "In the short term, we still need to interact with the 'high and mighty' to some extent."
Wang Chao pondered for a moment, "Like that Zhang Tong?"
"She doesn't count," Sun Shisheng shook his head, "She's just the president of a cosmetics company, adept at reading the wind and making investments, but her vision is somewhat narrow. It's okay to know her, but there's no need for deep connections."
"So, that's why you turned down her invitation," Wang Chao realized.
"Such people invite you merely to probe and understand our strengths and weaknesses, and then consider their next move." Sun Shisheng looked indifferent, then smiled, "Maybe they will even resort to using seduction... Do you regret it now?"
Wang Chao blushed and coughed twice, "Sun, you've got me wrong there. I'm not at all interested in such worldly women... So, where do we go next?"
"Back to school," Sun Shisheng said.
"Back to school?"
Wang Chao suddenly felt somewhat tired, and even a bit sleepy.
Going back to school meant doing tests.
Although he knew all the answers, in the first two months of the sophomore year, he had already finished the courses for three academic years, and the following lessons were all about doing different subject test papers.
Doing test papers, and discussing them.
This would be all there is to the second and third year of high school, until the college entrance examination, the cycle would not stop, the only thing that might be relaxing would probably be the gym class.
"Our reputation has already spread out, those small martial arts schools will close up at the sight of us, you can't exactly tear down the door by force, can you?" Sun Shisheng said laughing.
Wang Chao gave a sheepish smile; he had indeed had that thought.
But he also understood that if he dared to forcefully demolish, he would end up in the police station.
However, he really did not want to do test papers!
When the two returned to school and their classroom, they found everyone indeed doing test papers, and they were math papers.
Sun Shisheng and Wang Chao took two math papers from their math teacher and returned to their seats to start writing furiously.
Because this wasn't an exam, students could flip through books, look up formulas, and even some were quietly discussing amongst themselves.
The math teacher didn't mind as long as they didn't disturb anyone else.
Cao Jingjing glanced at Sun Shisheng and Wang Chao, back at their seats, and couldn't help asking Sun Shisheng in a low voice, "Where have you guys been? It's been two days."
"We've been doing something that can change the world," Sun Shisheng said with a smile, "Do you want to join us?"
Cao Jingjing: "..."
"You mean, starting a business?"
"Sort of."
"What industry are you getting into?" Cao Jingjing became slightly interested, "I plan to become a police officer like my dad in the future."
"Wang Chao and I plan to open a martial arts school," Sun Shisheng said softly.
"A martial arts school?" Cao Jingjing frowned, "Can that change the world?"
"Of course," Sun Shisheng said with confidence, smiling, "Because martial arts is not just about physical training, it also involves spiritual cultivation, which can elevate one beyond the ordinary."
Cao Jingjing smirked, "That sounds a bit too mystical for me."
Physical training, spiritual cultivation, being able to elevate one beyond the ordinary?
At most, it makes one stronger and more courageous.
Her father was a police officer who had also practiced martial arts, and that's the impression he gave her.
If that's what you call transcending the ordinary, then all the soldiers in the army are superheroes.
"You'll see it tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?"
"Yes, tomorrow," Sun Shisheng confirmed, "Wang Chao will fight Chan Yinsha, and then you'll see if he has surpassed the realm of humans."
Cao Jingjing: "..."
