Journey to the West: Life Simulation of Sun Wukong

Chapter 47 Nezha Descends to the Mortal World_2

"Moreover, I've heard that Dragon Princess of the Eastern Sea used spirit talismans to create many peculiar things; however, they haven't been used in Huaguo Mountain yet, and naturally, they haven't reached my Ao Lai either."

"You look unfamiliar; I suppose you're from another country."

Nezha nodded, "That's true; I've come from Niu Hezhou."

The shopkeeper was shocked, "Niu Hezhou? Are you joking, young brother?"

Ao Lai is located in Dongsheng Divine Continent, and this young man claimed he had come from Niu Hezhou, the two places being more than two hundred thousand miles apart. Ordinary people couldn't reach it even if they walked their whole life.

The young man in front of him was either a deity or a demon.

Of course, the most likely reason was that this young man was from a neighboring country of Ao Lai and was jesting.

Nezha, smiling cheerfully, said, "I, Nezha, never lie."

"Oh," the shopkeeper seemed not to have heard of Nezha's renown, "What would you like to buy? Tofu cakes? Or spirit talisman lamps?"

"I'm not selling anything."

Nezha turned and left, leaving the shopkeeper slightly agape and muttering, "This young man, wasting my breath like this and not even considering my business."

On the street again, Nezha found another shop, asked the same questions, and thoughtfully commented, "It seems the Monkey King truly has talents."

After asking for the direction to Huaguo Mountain, Nezha rose on a cloud towards the Eastern Sea. After flying for nearly a quarter of an hour, he finally saw an island enveloped in celestial mist and where dragons and tigers convened.

"What a splendid fairy island, truly a natural beauty."

Speeding up, he arrived at the island's edge, landed from the cloud, and looked around the bustling port, where there were predominantly mountain spirits.

Dressed as humans, following human customs, they were harmoniously interacting.

Tigers and sheep were chatting joyfully, cats and dogs were brotherly.

Although they had heads of beasts, their actions bore no traits of wild animals. This version was sourced from M|V|L^EMPYR.

The Monkey King, indeed, had enlightened myriad demons!

Nezha couldn't help but feel a tinge of admiration for Sun Wukong.

Being able to create such a heavenly abode surely isn't the deed of someone who conquers demons merely through brute force; his knowledge must also be extraordinary.

After thinking, Nezha found the guarding monkey soldiers at the port and said, "Quickly send a message. Tell the Eastern Leisurely Spirit King that the Great God of the Three Altars Sea Assembly is here to see him!"

Monkey soldiers: "Great God of the Three Altars Sea Assembly?"

Nezha, proudly, "Exactly!"

Monkey soldiers shook their heads and, in all seriousness, responded, "Don't know him."

Nezha's smile stiffened, he revealed his true form, and even transformed into his form with three heads and six arms, angrily threatening, "Hurry up! Or I will pluck all your hair."

"Then please wait a moment."

The monkey soldier's expression changed and after speaking to his companion, he ran westward.

Shortly after, a rough-faced Great Han came over and said, "You are the Great God of the Three Altars Sea Assembly, the third son of Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King Li, Nezha?"

"Exactly!" Nezha retracted his three heads and six arms, hands on his hips, his face again wearing a smug expression.

"Then follow me."

Shuisheng nodded slowly and, along with Nezha, took a carriage headed into Huaguo Mountain.

Seeing the grand Great Wall, Nezha wasn't impressed; the Heavenly Palace had more majestic structures than this. What was so special about a mere wall?

However, passing through the seventy-two cities inside, Nezha couldn't help but stop and observe.

Each city's architecture was unique, not simply copying human buildings, but also incorporating elements from Huaguo Mountain: some were constructed on trees, some were made of piled stones, and others were built over streams.

Especially the cities built over streams, their walls covered with a layer of glass bricks, shining brightly. The water from the streams below reflecting light upon the walls presented a breathtaking view.

The Heavenly Palace might be more beautiful, but Nezha appreciated this architecture integrated with nature.

"The Monkey King is indeed greatly talented!"

Nezha sighed internally, "It's just a pity that now isn't the time to explore thoroughly; otherwise, I'd definitely take a tour."

At this very moment.

In Shuilian Cave, Sun Wukong was tinkering with other features of the Heavenly Dao Simulator when Ao Yun knocked and entered, saying, "Brother, the Great God of the Three Altars Sea Assembly has come to see you."

"Known." Sun Wukong knew through the last simulation that Nezha would descend to Earth today, so he was not puzzled but asked Ao Yun about other matters, "Ao Yun, last time you were planning the layout of the San Sheng book city, you became interested in spirit talismans; have you discovered anything new?"

Ao Yun replied, "I can't arrange formations with spirit talismans like big brother; I just make some trivial things, such as this spirit talisman lamp, which is used merely for illumination."

A trivial thing, a spirit talisman lamp?

Sun Wukong chuckled, "This is not a trivial thing; utilizing spirit talismans for such a purpose, in a way, is an innovation."

In past cultivation practices, such as spirit talismans, they were used on paper talismans or for exorcising spirits and enhancing oneself, but to use them on utensils was unprecedented both now and in the past.

Ao Yun was indeed clever.

"You flatter me too much, brother." Ao Yun blushed and fidgeted, "Actually, I also created other spirit talisman tools, although they're not massively used in Huaguo Mountain. But this spirit talisman lamp is widely used in every household every night, and over in Ao Lai, there are vast imports of it."

"Keep thinking along these lines in the future; it may aid in your path to enlightenment," Sun Wukong advised.

"Understood." Ao Yun nodded, as in her free time she often read in Wan Shu Tower, sometimes having novel ideas that she would implement. The spirit talisman lamp was a product of a sudden inspiration.
