Many crows flew towards the Curse but with just a single swipe of water, all of them were eradicated in an instant, changing their target in an instant the Curse aimed for the most dangerous person on the battlefield and aimed towards Mei Mei but before it could even try to shoot its water jet Mei Mei had already shot out her strongest move.

In an instant two of her Crows turned into suicidal missiles and flew towards the water blob, the first one getting destroyed before it could deal any damage but the second one splitting the water orb in half, "Alright" Mei Mei muttered as she lunged at it to slice it in quarters but just as she did the water ring which had vanished reformed once again, now with the main water blob turning into the rings and glowed in a way it had never done before.
"MEI MEI" Gensui screamed as he tackled her to the side taking the hit onto himself, the shield he had hastily created on his arm bared the brunt of the strike as it cut through it with some difficulty, passing through it and forming a cut on his forearm.
"But of course, you don't think I'll let you be of this easy right?" Gensui said while throwing two grenades at the blob, exploding right on its two rings and causing them to break into droplets.
"Tch" Mei Mei clicked her tongue.
"Good grief what are you doing Mei Mei san, that was a beginner's mistake you know?" Gensui asked with a sly smile making Mei Mei slightly glare at him which made him avert his eyes.
"Yeah yeah there's no way to know what this dude's extent of capabilities is, simply you failed a bet" Gensui sighed.
"Yeah I don't care about any of that.... whatever the hell it's doing now is what we need to focus on," Mei Mei said.
"Your guess is as good as mine" Gensui muttered seeing the water blob reform and start spinning in circles around them.
"But we found another striking pattern of this guy," Mei Mei said, a grin creeping on her face.
"Yeah..." Gensui replied with a similar grin on his face.
"All we need to do is bash our skull against this batard and eventually it'll mess up somewhere and...." Gensui looked at the RPG on his back, "I'll lance this bastard to death"
"Which is proving to be quite useful" Seeing the blob go crazy after getting hit with the intense heat from the grenades.

"But isn't it?" Gensui muutered.

"Going a tad bit too fast?" Gensui asked as a sweat dropped from his head.
"Gensui... those aren't afterimages... Those are!" Mei Mei yelled.

Suddenly the water blob stopped revolving around the two as it stopped.... or rather 'they' stopped.
Replaced with the one single blob were equally as large Eight more blobs all with two overlapping rings surrounding each one of them.
"That's a little bit too overkill don't you think?" Gensui asked.
"Yeah but this maneuver also revealed something which would have taken us too long to figure out without it" Mei Mei replied.
"And that is?" Gensui asked.
Mei Mei on hearing this chuckled as she said, "It's as Gojo said, you truly hopeless at anything other than your Cursed Technique"
"HAH? Speak clearly! I don't understand" Gensui yelled.
"Pfft-HHAHAHAHAHA" Mei Mei continued laughing and continued, "If you wanna know transfer One Hundred thousand yen into my account right now"
"Arrgh, FINE! Have it your way! I'll brute force my way through this if I have to!" Gensui finished.
"No need to do that, I'd have killed that thing long before you smash your skull into one of them" Mei Mei replied.
