JJK: I am the real villain

Chapter 15: Rushed move

Itadori opened his eyes, lying on his back. The air was thick with a malevolent aura, twisting, heavy, and hard to breathe.

He sighed and sat up, his gaze landing on a mountain of bones and waste. At the top sat Sukuna.

His face burned with hatred, though he remained nonchalant. Only a keen eye could see it, his recent loss to two sorcerers had him deep in thought.

Not out of emotion, but calculation. A plan. A precise, ruthless plan to kill them... and serve them as a dish. His mind flashed with the image of a white-haired individual, their gender difficult to discern.

"Hahahaha!"

Sukuna turned his head toward Itadori, the pink-haired boy now laughing, clutching his stomach.

Sukuna's lips slowly curved into a faint smile.

"Something funny?"

"Yeah… You broke the Binding Vow. Hahaha!"

Itadori's amusement stemmed from a simple truth, the King of Curses was easy to provoke into a fight.

But then, a realization crept in.

"…What does that mean, then?"

Sukuna sighed, a flicker of anger in his eyes.

"I'll have no ties to the outside world… unless my fingers are absorbed by you." He spat the last word with disdain.

"Why are you so mad..." Yuji folded his arms. "I didn't even do anything..." he muttered.

Sukuna's smile remained, sly and cold. "And what exactly did he do in our Domain clash? I've got the gist of it… but something's missing."

"Look at you. Already plotting someone's death. But come on, there's no way he's Gojo-level strong if he managed to beat you."

Sukuna clicked his tongue.

"I was impatient. That's all. And what's got you suddenly putting faith in me?"

"I know what you are. Evil. A monster. You're anything but good." Yuji laid back on the floor.

"But this one… he's interesting. Might bring me some fun in this era. Aside from that blindfolded idiot."

Yuji gave him a deadpan look. "Yeah, right. He's dangerous."

Itadori flashed back, Nanami's shoulder, sliced open by Zankei with no warning.

"I still don't have any idea what his Cursed Technique is," Yuji muttered, staring hard at the floor. "And if someone like that is running free, we're in serious trouble."

"I don't care. Now leave, brat."

Itadori lost consciousness and dropped to the floor once more.

---

A woman with brown hair walked with measured steps to the balcony of a traditional Japanese-style building. A puff of smoke escaped her lips.

"Shoko. Didn't think I'd find you here," Gojo Satoru said, approaching. His blindfold concealed whatever thoughts lay behind his eyes.

"Yeah, this is my spot… Say, what do you make of Nanami's report?"

Gojo brushed imaginary dust off his shoulder. "No doubt. It's the same guy I fought."

"Yeah. Nanami described him as having ginger hair, that's all he could really make out."

Gojo didn't answer right away. His expression calmed. "I'm just glad Nanami isn't dead. Same for Itadori."

Shoko examined his composed face. "Yeah… Itadori was in pretty rough shape. You could see the marks. But he'd been healed, sloppily, with Reverse Cursed Technique.

Makes you wonder, what did the vessel's host want out of this? Could it be Sukuna's doing?"

Gojo rubbed his head thoughtfully. "Not sure. Seeing Nanami with just a shoulder wound, and Itadori bruised but patched up with RCT… it's safe to say Sukuna was their target."

"Not a stretch," Shoko said, exhaling her last puff of smoke.

"Now the elders have another reason to execute Yuji Itadori... We need to find the remaining fingers, fast."

"You think someone's feeding him fingers to help Sukuna take over?"

"No. That's what's so strange. We need to keep a close watch on that kid. My gut tells me someone made a deal with Sukuna… sounds crazy, but we can't afford to ignore the possibility."

Shoko glanced at her fading cigarette. "Yeah… You're right."

They stood in silence, watching the golden light of the sunset stain the sky.

---

"You're saying you didn't bring the boy back here?!" Jogo roared, volcanic smoke rising from his head.

"They're after me now," Zankei said calmly. "I revealed myself not to one, but three Jujutsu sorcerers. It's inevitable they'll investigate, and we'll cross paths again.

As for now, we've only got four fingers in our possession. Kenjaku's been busy collecting pieces of Sukuna's corpse." He turned to the monk sipping from a coconut with a straw. "Isn't that right, Kenjaku?"

"Yes, yes..." Kenjaku replied distantly, eyes lost in the horizon as he drank.

"So... Zankei Kubigari. What's your deal? What are you even here for?" Mahito asked with a sneer.

Zankei and Jogo both looked at Mahito in silence.

"What are you talking about, Patch-Face? I don't answer to you. You should be questioning your existence," Zankei said, his voice like venom.

Mahito clicked his tongue. "Tch. I know everyone's motives here, except yours. You're still a mystery...

…But it's fine if you don't want to talk. Kenjaku told me you split your reserves in half."

"Got any Patch-Face repellent?" Zankei asked Hanami dryly.

"5+3&;#!+!#?+?$" Hanami replied cryptically.

"You're not serious. He can do that?" Zankei asked.

"T&;:2-;#7;$);7-:6," Hanami continued. Zankei nodded as if it made perfect sense.

"What did you do to that child, then?"

"5-#-;$+;$(+6;2778," Hanami responded thoughtfully.

"Hahahaha!!" Zankei burst into laughter, clutching his stomach.

Zankei and Hanami slapped each other's backs like old drinking buddies.

Jogo stared at them blankly, his smoke pipe idling. Dagon stood beside him, sweating nervously as usual.

"Well then, Kenjaku, how's the plan coming along? When do we move?" Mahito asked, annoyed at being ignored.

"Tomorrow," Kenjaku replied coolly. "Tomorrow is the time."

Zankei's ears perked up. Jogo smiled, and Hanami bent down, whispering into Zankei's ear.

"Oh… No, Hanami, my friend. I won't be going. I've got better things to do. But don't fall below expectations, alright?"

"$-;$7;28!$+," Hanami replied tearfully, comically so. Jogo and Mahito's eyes twitched in irritation.

I bit on the shorter side.

Anyways, I'll be almost done with exams and I was getting very bored, so I've decided to drop like two chapters.

But I just get more ideas for the story, although I won't be updating anymore till I have a stack of chapters, I can't blame readers when the fanfic isn't up to pace.
