Chapter 109: Izumi Miyamura: Xover - Chapter 107

"IZUUUUMIII!!!" Ruby exclaimed in panic as she launched herself at me, clinging to my neck and looking at me pleadingly. "I need help!" Ruby exclaimed. I blinked at her before eating the last piece of chocolate in my hand and looking back at her curiously. I was sitting on one of the couches in my room while I was hanging out.
"Help with what?" I asked simply.
"Final semester exams!" Ruby said as if it were an indescribable horror, I snorted in amusement.
"Right, exams are coming up." I hummed as I remembered the dates. If it was the end of June, there must be at least a week left before they start. The first week of July, if I'm not mistaken.
Aizawa had given the announcement that we would be going to a forest lodge for our summer vacation a week ago, as expected, and he even made a threat that if anyone failed the end-of-term exams, they would be locked in the school for the entire vacation to attend make-up classes.
My grades were decent, always around fifth place most of the time. Yaoyorozu, Sitri, and Penny were always in the top three. While my grades were competing with those of Todoroki, Bakugo, Midoriya, Azula, and Ravel, there was actually a lot of us vying for those spots, which were constantly swapping places.
On the other hand, Ruby was close to position 15/20
"Of course, Ruby, what do you need help with?" I asked. Ruby smiled brightly with a hopeful look.
"All of them!" Ruby chirped. I froze and sighed tiredly. I heard a laugh and saw Azula leaning against the doorframe.
"Azula, do you need help too?" I asked. Azula shrugged.
"I'm barely below you in grades," Azula said dryly as she entered the room. "Though it wouldn't hurt to brush up on my Japanese and history, even if it's not necessary," she said with a shrug.
"Me too?" Taylor said with a nervous smile as she timidly entered the room. She was ranked 10/20, although considering the nine before her had passing grades in the upper percentile, it was pretty good. I sighed tiredly.
"Fiiinee" I complained to everyone while sighing.
"Yay! You're the best!" Ruby said as she kissed my chin. I rolled my eyes.
"Yes, yes, yes. I want chocolate as compensation." I said tersely. The three of them turned their gaze to my hand, where there was a half-eaten chocolate bar. I shrugged and took a bite. "I want more," I said shamelessly.
"If it weren't for the fact that I know your body is abnormally resilient, I would have banned you from eating so much chocolate," Taylor said dryly. I gave her a cocky smile.
"I only train so I can eat so much chocolate," I said simply. The three girls snorted.
"Honestly, we believe you," Azula said dryly. I didn't care in the least and continued eating my chocolate.
"Shall we call the others to form a study group?" Taylor asked simply. I wanted to smile; it was good that they got along with each other.
"I'll ask them, although maybe their classmates have something planned." I took out my Scroll just in time for it to ping as I received a message. I raised an eyebrow as I began to read it. I snorted dryly before smiling amusedly.
"Who is it?" Ruby asked curiously as she looked over my shoulder. She burst out laughing.
"Louise, you're practically begging me, and I quote, 'it's my duty as a teacher to also make sure you pass your written exams.'" I said playfully.
"And that's a plea?" Azula asked amusedly. I shrugged and showed her the message. Taylor glued herself to her, both of them reading quickly before smiling amusedly.
"She practically just texted that she has no friends while begging." Azula said mockingly.
"Don't be mean," I chided playfully as I unscrolled her. Azula simply shrugged noncommittally. I rolled my eyes as I sent her a confirmation text. Once I sent it, another message arrived. My eyes widened slightly, curious.
"Let me guess, it's someone else who wants you to help them study," Taylor said playfully. I snorted but nodded.
"Jinx. Apparently, she asked Asada for help, but apparently, she already had plans with some guys from 1B, so she's completely alone." I said.
"Oh! Oh! Oh! Can we bring Penny too!?" Ruby asked happily.
"It's not a party. Besides, Penny doesn't need help," I said dryly. Ruby pouted. She'd been hanging out with Penny more and more, which was good; it meant Ruby had more friends than just our small circle. And she wasn't the only one.
Azula had also created a kind of camaraderie with Todoroki, and I also saw her having a very entertaining conversation with Tanya.
Taylor, I was stunned. She's been hanging out lately with-
"If Ruby is bringing Penny, can I invite Sitri?" Taylor asked timidly. Yes, her. With Sona Sitri, to my shock. Apparently, after all the books Taylor spent reading in the dorm's common rooms, Sona came over, and they started some sort of book club.
I saw them interact a couple of times. Sometimes, they read silently; other times, they started arguing about the books, and both were quite determined about their points of view.
On the contrary, I had barely interacted with her. The only interaction was during her birthday a couple of weeks ago. By this point, several friendship circles had formed, spending almost all their time together, although they also continued to interact with one another.
"The four of us, Louise, Jinx, Sona, Tanya, Visha, and Darkness. We're almost 10 people. I won't be teaching everyone. Can we really study?" I asked dryly. Taylor shrugged.
"I guess? Sitri, Polendina, Tanya, and you, I'm sure you don't need help. So there are fewer of us. Maybe they can help, too." Taylor said simply. I sighed and dragged my palm over my face.
"You can't decide for them," I said flatly. I pulled out my scroll and sent it out to the group where we were all together. And by us, I meant me and the six girls I was dating.
Luckily, the end-of-term exams were the same for both years, so we could study together without any problems.
Darkness obviously didn't answer; she was busy. Tanya seemed to have already had plans to help Visha study, but she'd be happy to join us. She even offered to help the others. I sighed and ignored Taylor's smug smile.
"Go find Sona and ask her, you too Ruby." I said dryly. Ruby smiled.
"I'm coming!" Ruby said before disappearing. Taylor just smiled and left the room.
"Should we invite Yunyun?" Azula asked, humming. I paused slightly and looked at her, slightly surprised.
"I didn't know you were close to Yunyun," I said in surprise. She shrugged.
"I'm not. It just crossed my mind," Azula said simply. I walked over to her and smiled playfully.
"Thinking about others? You're getting softer and softer, Princess." I said mockingly as I bumped my shoulder against hers. Azula glared at me.
"Don't be ridiculous. I was just saying it for you. You're a boy, too sentimental," she snorted, wrinkling her nose. I raised an eyebrow at her and laughed lightly.
"Don't worry, I'll keep your secret." I said mockingly. She just grunted and turned away.
"I'll go ask her," she said in defeat as she turned around.
"I thought you'd ask Todoroki first." I said before she left. Azula paused slightly before shrugging.
"Apparently, Midoriya invited her to study with him, Bakugo, Uraraka, and Asui." Azula said before she left. I blinked slightly. Uh… I guess the groups were slowly forming…
Now… where could we fit 11 people to study?
Oh yeah, I was forgetting.
My free hand stopped stroking Darkness, and with a light movement, I removed the blindfold and gag. She'd been kneeling beside me on a small, relatively comfortable pillow I'd bought for precisely that purpose. She'd been silent with a vibrator between her legs.
"So, pet? Do you want to come to study with us?" I asked, ignoring her shallow breathing and unfocused gaze.
"I-I'd love to, m-master!" Darkness gasped, and I laughed lightly. "C-can I cum?" Darkness begged, and I hummed lightly.
"No, hold on for another 10 minutes," I said plainly as I increased the speed of the vibrator. Darkness squealed and I simply stroked her head gently.
Really… I was impressed with the girls' ability to ignore the whole situation and Darkness. I suppose they had grown accustomed to it by this point. That was good. And Darkness definitely loved being ignored like that, so… win-win, I guess.
I looked at Darkness writhing as she knelt beside me. Yes, it was a good victory.

Turns out empty classrooms were entirely usable as long as you could get permission from a teacher. Great! So, there I was, utterly alone in an unused classroom, rearranging the desks until everyone else arrived. My ear twitched slightly when I heard the door open.
"Miyamura, you're early. I suppose it's nice to meet you properly." Sona Sitri said as she entered the classroom.
"Sitri, hello." I waved lightly as I continued moving the desks around to arrange them in the middle of the room.
"Let me help you," Sitri said immediately, approaching me, grabbing another of the desks, and starting to move them.
"I guess I won't have to tutor you too," I said playfully. Sona looked at me slightly and raised an eyebrow.
"I'm ahead of you in the written grades," Sona said simply, and I groaned in pain.
"Gah! Right where it hurts, you're ruthless." I said in a suffering voice, Sona snorted.
"You'll be fine. Your big ego might take a few hits," Sona said dryly, though she had a slight smile on her face. I snorted.
"My ego is fine, thank you very much. It's a perfectly normal size," I said mockingly. Sona rolled her eyes.
"It's no good being in denial, Miyamura. It's not proper for a man," Sona said mockingly. I laughed lightly.
"Now you're mistaken, Sitri. That's exactly what's expected of a man." I said, my eyes twinkling. Sitri raised an eyebrow at me in amusement. I just laughed. "By the way, I'm sorry about Taylor. I hope you didn't have any other plans." I said. Sitri shook her head.
"Not really. In fact, I appreciate the invitation. Now I have a perfect excuse to avoid Rias." Sitri said dryly with a hint of satisfaction. I burst out laughing.
"It's good to know we also serve as an excuse to avoid people," I said playfully.
"And you should, it's a very good deed." Sitri said seriously. "Despite being smart enough, Rias tends to leave everything to the end because of her laziness. I've helped her enough. She can do it alone this time." She said simply.
"Still, I was asking about Yaoyorozu and the others. But since we're at it, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any other friends besides Rias outside of our classmates?" I asked lightly. Sitri hummed.
"Momo and the rest are fine. Asuna's grades are good. Momo had made plans to help Kyoka, Shino, Mina, and Toru. They invited me to go with them, but I had already agreed to come here, so I declined. But they'll be fine. Momo can help with everything."
"And outside of 1A, there's Tsubaki. Unfortunately, she didn't make the cut for the hero and hunter classes. Apparently, she was paired with someone with an insect quirk who destroyed all the robots during the entrance exam." Sitri said simply. I froze in place with the desk in my hand.
"I... I apologize for Taylor?" I asked awkwardly. Sitri laughed lightly and shook her head.
"There's nothing to apologize for. I wouldn't be friends with Taylor if that bothered me. She's in general studies, so there's no problem," she said simply. I nodded.
"I'm glad." I said honestly. Sitri nodded.
"And back to the answer, besides Tsubaki, I have a group of friends outside of college too, though they're still in high school. We keep in touch every day," Sitri added, and I nodded. If everything stays the same as canon and their ages. I guess she's referring to what would make up the rest of her Peerage. The funny thing is, she was being awfully honest.
"It's-" The sound of the door interrupted me. We turned around and saw Yunyun nervously. I blinked slightly, seeing her holding her slightly stuffed school bag and two bags. "Hey Yunyun, you're early." I said with a smile. She seemed to pale slightly.
"Did I do wrong?! Should I wait outside until they're done?!" Yunyun asked in a panic. I laughed lightly.
"Don't worry, come in." I said. Yunyun hurriedly stepped forward.
"I-I brought my notes! You can use them however you want! You can copy them and study from them! I also brought snacks and drinks for everyone!" Yunyun said hurriedly as she showed off her loot. I almost wanted to sigh and tell her it wasn't necessary. But Yunyun's hopeful, approving look was nearly too painful that I could only smile.
"That's very kind of you. Thank you." I thanked her as I walked over to her and took the bags. Yunyun blushed slightly, but smiled brightly. I turned around and walked over to the large rectangular table that Sona and I had set up, placing everything on it. I could see Sona's slightly confused look on her face as she questioned me. I just shook my head for her to let it go.
"So, Yunyun? Is there anything you need help with?" Sona asked. Yunyun flinched before quickly shaking her head.
"Oh no, no, no, no! I'm perfectly fine! I came because I want to help!" Yunyun said with a huge smile. I was about to ask if she had any plans with her friends before I stopped stiffly. My mind began to run through all the friendship circles that had formed.
My group, consisting of Taylor, Ruby, Azula, and me.
Midoriya's group, which had Bakugou, Todoroki, Uraraka, Asui and himself.
The group of… Yaoyorozu? Which were made up of Kyoka, Sona, Asada, Asuna, and her.
And finally, Ashido's group. It included Hagakure, Ravel, Penny, Jinx, and Ashido herself. It was an odd group, but it worked.
The problem was, I couldn't find Yunyun in any of those groups. She... didn't have any friends in UA?! Why not!?
If I remember correctly, in the Crimson-Eyed Demon Village, she was the only "normal" person in a group of almost delusional people, which is why she was mostly marginalized. But now we were in the everyday world, and Yunyun was utterly normal.
The only thing that came to mind was that Yunyun was still so socially stunted in some ways that she couldn't make friends. I guess she couldn't connect with anyone when the groups were formed, and once they were, it was much more intimidating for her. And… considering the few encounters we had. Yeah… it's definitely possible that happened.
I sighed lightly. I'd have to make plans to include her in more plans and outings. Yunyun wasn't a bad person; she was actually quite lovely when she overcame her people-pleasing anxiety to be her friend, so I wouldn't mind having her around more often, and I didn't even mean it in a sexual way, just friendship.
mmm… things to think about.
The next group arrived a few seconds later, and the rest a few minutes later. Having almost 11 students together didn't seem like a good way to study, but I'm happy to say I was wrong.
Apparently, Aizawa's threat of not going to the training camp was quite effective. I'm not sure if the teacher in charge of 1B did something similar, or if it was simply the general maturity of the group. Still, everyone took their studies seriously, even though some clearly struggled with certain subjects.
It was easy to split into groups to study a few topics and then regroup when we switched to a new area of study.
We spent several hours studying, but it was clearly worth it.
Now, I hope everyone passes, but I wasn't so sure; a single review class and help certainly couldn't do that much of a miracle, unfortunately.
