I've Become the King of Villains in the Game

Chapter 407 Saintess

```
The sky was just beginning to brighten, and Chen Lun had taken Noah and Antonio away long ago.
Last night, when the rat people attacked from Tamala, he did not personally intervene, because there was no benefit in killing such rats; it was better to let Noah and Antonio add a bit of mystical accumulation.
The rats were numerous, but their individual strength was at most on par with human teenagers. Even with sharp claws, fangs, and weapons in hand, they were no match for a man and an ox.
The fight lasted only tens of minutes before the frantic rat people had been slaughtered by Noah and Antonio.
When leaving, Chen Lun also passed by the Fountain of Youth, but he discovered that the spring had vanished... Perhaps, as Lutina had said, it "grew legs" and ran off.
This couldn't help but make him marvel at how Kellettville Forest, just like Wonderland Nature Forest, always gave him a bizarre feeling. As for the three mobsters' captive, he had long been overrun by the swarms of rats, gnawed to the bone.
Chen Lun was indifferent to this.
"Mr. Jack, this forest is really vast," Noah said during a rest, looking around.
Chen Lun was sitting on a large rock, consulting the page Lutina had left him.
He heard Noah's remark and chuckled, nodding in response.
"It is vast; the area of Kellettville Forest is comparable to a State City region. If not for the hidden dangers, an ordinary person would need at least several months to make a circuit inside," he said.
Chen Lun then turned to look at Antonio.
The cow was walking in circles around a big tree, humming a tune.
"Antonio, what do you think of this forest environment?" he asked.
"Don't like it..." Antonio stopped walking and turned to Chen Lun.
"Too many trees, and the grass here tastes weird... I prefer the great plains, the endless grasslands," he said.
Chen Lun laughed and shook his head.
He then looked to his left at a depression in the ground, a mire filled with muddy swamps and numerous dead stumps standing defiantly... According to Lutina's message, after passing this swamp, they would need to change direction, from northwest to northeast.
The specifics were unclear; these were the experiences concluded by the locals.
Only in this way could one finally reach the Augustus Mountains, or else one would get lost in the forest, wandering endlessly in circles.
Chen Lun then took out a delicate compass and, according to its direction, confirmed northeast.
In reality, compasses were not very reliable in Kellettville Forest, as they often malfunctioned, the needle jumping erratically, unclear what was causing the interference.
But Chen Lun didn't place all his hopes on the compass, either. He also performed divination twice more, and only after confirming the direction did he continue leading Noah and Antonio forward.
Both of his subordinates had excellent physical conditions. Noah, as Sequence Six of the Flesh Faction, excelled through his physique, while Antonio possessed the "Never Tiring" characteristic of supernatural creatures, so Chen Lun was not worried that they would fatigue from the journey.
"We need to quicken our pace..." he said as he walked on, turning back to his two subordinates.
"Yes, of course, Mr. Jack!" Noah and Antonio nodded in reply.
Chen Lun chuckled softly, his step quickened, and he shot out like an arrow, vanishing from view in the blink of an eye. Noah and Antonio, momentarily stunned, soon buried their heads and followed in pursuit.
In the dense foliage of the thriving forest, the two men and the ox dashed past like eerie shadows.
And so they continued on all morning.
Around one in the afternoon, Chen Lun suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong, Mr. Jack?" Noah asked, slightly out of breath and puzzled.
"Someone is coming towards us," Chen Lun said calmly, looking ahead.
Noah frowned slightly.
Someone? How could there be someone in such a vast forest... And they know our movements?
Noah and Antonio stood quietly beside Chen Lun, alertly watching the dense forest ahead.
Rustle, rustle...
Footsteps crushed the fallen leaves, creating a faint sound.
A breeze blew by, swaying the trees.
They saw a small group of seven or eight people slowly emerge from the woods, led by a large moose. They stood before Chen Lun and his companions. The moose's enormous antlers were like two miniature towering trees, with countless branches... adorned with some small wood carvings and hand-crafted colored stones.
'This is a supernatural creature...' Chen Lun thought.
The men and women of the squad were all Low Sequence Transcendents, clad in green robes, wearing hooded cloaks and grass crowns, carrying short bows and long spears, and bearing quivers. They looked at Chen Lun and his companions with curiosity.
On the moose's back sat an elderly woman, her body draped in a cloak with a brown base, patterned with white paint.
From her, Chen Lun sensed a supernatural power and discreetly used Peek Life to check the woman's status, learning that she was a [Nature Faction Sequence Five - Perfumer].
"Greetings, visitors from afar," the elderly woman slowly began.
Her gaze lightly swept over Noah and Antonio and finally settled on Chen Lun, revealing a faint smile.
"I am Olga, a priest of the Naturalist Sect. Of course, you may also call me 'Julius'—in Nature, it means 'the mediator.'"
"Greetings, Priest Olga," Chen Lun said.
