The reason for nuwas increase in size was because she had broken through to bidy forging stage 2, the beast equivalent of qi absorbing. At this stage the beats would even further enhance their already powerful phisque, while also mutating existing traits. Such as the shell of an insect becoming as hard as steel, or a wolf's sence of smell becoming being enhanced to supernatural heights.

But that was for normal beast's, and nuwa was very far from that. After entering body forging she began to grow extremely fast, to the point that even with her being able to shrink herself further at this stage, her miniature form was still two meaters long. Her new horns where caued by her old ones absorbing the nature of silver lighting and mutating, giving them the ability to perfectly channel qi through them aswell as create lighting.

Due to gaining a dragon bead and continuous vloodline purification and enhancement, nuwa had become a flood dragon, gaining her dragon horns and further enhancing her fake core into a psudo-beast core.

Her envenomed fangs had also evolved into dragon fangs, which not wnky made them stronger by also gave them a trace of dragons fire venom, which had the anility to seal qi, corode souls, and cause qi deviation with just a drop. But with the concentration she had it would only block meridians. Her sharp eyes trait had evolved into dragon eyes, alowimg her to see through truths and lies, as well as minor illusions. She could also now call down storms at will, Summoning lightning and rain on command.

Lastly her dragonic potential had become her own dragon bloodline, meaning nuwa was officaly a dragon.

While for alex that was nothing, for a anyone else in foundation building and below it was a heavenly treasure. A pill that when eaten would purify all your qi by several grades, with no downside, no pil toxin and could be used multiple times with the same effect every time? That kind of treasure would send entire mortal kingdoms into a rampage. And Alex had several duzon just sitting in his back pocket.

These where the kinds if things that put how much if a cheat Alex was sitting perspective. Alex, at the qi absorbing stage, had higher stats the the vast majority of mid stage foundation building cultivators. If he so wished, he could have advanced to foundation building almost as soon as be broke through to qi absorbing.

If he wanted to he could just sit in his room for 100 years, log in every day, gain an ungodly amout of exchange points, exchange for any system he wanted, gain any power he wanted, any trait, status or item he so desired, ascend to godhood with next to no challenge and have a true dragon of immeasurable power as his pet. He could very well do all that if he wanted to, but he didn't. He wasen't just going to sit down for 100 years and become overpowered to the point of it just being unreasonable, that wouldn't be any fun.

Alex realised, first when nuwa attacked him when he was a baby, and then when he was attacked by the bandits on the way the purple dawm sect. He was pretty damn sure he liked fighting, or at the very least the fun of being in danger and overcoming it. And the idea of waiting for 100 years then overpowering everyone andd every thing sounded boring as all fuck to him.

Do you realy think that just because he could, that he would? He could have killed the head advisor with just a little exchange, he could have chosen to stay low and hide his talent, he could have picked an entirely difremt path, where he hid at his fathers estate, maried soms noble woman, had some kids and secretly became a god. but he didn't. He didn't do any of that because it would not be any fun at all. There would be no point.

What is the point of life but to enjoy it? Even if for just an instant? Why spend all that time becoming the strongest if it had no meaning, no weight, no purpose? What was the point of chasing something with no value? For power? He could rule an entire kingdom right now if he wanted to. For wealth? He could have more money, spirit stones, artifacts and more then he could even begin to use if he wanted to. For women? Once again, he could go to the nearest town and look for a brothel, or head to the outer sect and pay a deciple if he wanted to. But there was no fun in that.

Why rule a kingdom when he could fight an epic battle against thousands of sect's on a great battle field, slaying countless foes, battling gods and demons in an epic tale?

Why gain simple wealth when he could seek ancient artefacts of untold ages, that carried the story's of mighty empires from eons past and had the power to shape continents?

Why seek some random prostitute when he could travel vast lands, finding someone who perfectly matched him, to follow him on his travels and help him when he needed it, who he could share his all with?

Why sit, and wait, and grow fat as he became powerfull with no purpose when he could instead go outside, seek adventure, seek fame, seek companions and seek fun?
