Isekai: The Eight Soul Fragments

"Emergency Conference? Only Remuel is in the castle you know?" The king sent doubtful words to Draxus who brought out his smartphone. "Just watch, I'll call them using this." Draxus used his smartphone to perform a conference call with Serkyrio, Remuel, and Arlesk.

Serkyrio was currently on the town to the eastern parts of Quisterion. He went there because of the possibilities of it being invaded by the Kitrixia empire is large. He's currently taking a break from training with some of the members in his group. "Hey Serkyrio, we're about to go around now." Serkyrio stood up and tried to follow, Charnet, Shia, Valentine, and two more friends. It was when he stood up that he heard his smartphone perform an emergency ring. Charnet, who is his younger sister heard that and told everyone to stop for the time being. Serkyrio took out his smartphone and answered the call.

Remuel was in the castle doing the research along with his group and Harold on the magic circle. He was discussing things with them while looking for possible clues as his phone suddenly rang with a loud beep. He immediately took it out while Harold was surprised to the sudden noise. "Don't tell me, [Emergency Conference]? What happened?" Harold looked at Remuel's smartphone with worry which got Remuel to think deeply as he clicked the button answer. "I don't know what it is about, but this might be big."

Arlesk was adventuring on the southern parts of the Quisterion kingdom. The people who joined him are Collin, Jaquinn, and some of his friends that he met along the way. "Guys, we should get ready soon. This quest is kind of a big one after all." Arlesk was discussing them a plan on a mutated species that had appeared near their town. In the middle of their meeting at the back of some inn, the loud beep of a ringtone resounded in the entire room. Because of that, it caught the attention of the innkeeper and it ran out to ask what just happened. "An [Emergency Conference]? Better answer..." Arlesk pressed the answer button and listened.

Back on the castle where Draxus and the King are talking, a voice came out from the phone. "Draxus, for you to be using [Emergency Conference]? It's quite unusual, then I will have you report now." It was Serkyrio's voice that came out first. The king was surprised as to why Serkyrio's voice came out so Draxus immediately faced the camera to the king and moved to his side. "Very well, I'm reporting in [Emergency Conference] because I am about to do something at a huge scale of risk. This can increase the risk of people feeling endangered due to our power's existence." Draxus explained the cause of his call for an [Emergency Conference]. "To mitigate the chances of someone important to me to be married off to a dangerous nobleman, I have decided to take the handle and intend to marry the princess. As for the feelings, you don't have to worry since the feelings between me and Olivia are mutual." Draxus announced his intentions to the [Emergency Conference]. Arlesk let out a retort which was ignored completely as it was an emergency. "You're a lolicon after all!" Serkyrio asked Draxus a question as to why he decided to break the cover of just being normal civilians with noble hearts into people that are higher existences than them. "Why do you think blowing our cover now will be essential?" The pressure that came from Serkyrio was extremely huge. Draxus instantly shivered and started sweating grandly. Olivia, who woke up, entered the room while wearing the jacket Draxus left with her. Two people accompanied her which are Prince Oswald and the hero Ulysses. The royalty were wearing casual clothes while Ulysses was wearing his training garments. "Draxus Heimdal, I have given you a question, I'm giving you thirty seconds to answer." The pressure skyrocketed beyond belief. Even if it wasn't directed at them, King Oscar, Prince Oswald, and Princess Olivia were showing complete fear to Serkyrio. Draxus who bore the full brunt of the pressure was staggering and couldn't form a single word. Ulysses succumbed to the pressure and remained silent. Before the timer of thirty seconds ended, the king opened his mouth. "Sir Kaiser... Can I answer on his behalf?" Draxus looked down and covered his eyes with his hair. Olivia stood up and moved next to him. Draxus was sitting straight while both of his hands clenching on top of his knees. "My daughter, was about to be married to Duke Elliot Herlon Scatherion. We have suspicions of him being the culprit of the attempted assassination of my son, Oswald and aimed for the crown. If he manages to take the crown, he will immediately drive you out from the country, and constantly hunt you down until one side dies." Serkyrio who received his answer asked for the opinions of the other two with pressure on his tone, Remuel had an immediate answer. "He's right, according to the info I collected, he's being fed with the rumors about us. If we're not careful and he assumes the crown, he will become a threat to our goal which is world peace." Arlesk added in some information while giving positive answers to Draxus who was completely pressured. "I can't say for sure but once he assumes the throne, the chances of him aiming for us will be guaranteed. Either he'll force us to become his minions, or drive us out. For that, I have suspicions on Begona Wallowhart. We haven't heard anything from her yet, even though it's only two days but her behavior has been suspicious to me from the very start. Therefore I, Arlesk Finlay vote to allow Draxus Heimdal, and His Majesty Oscar to reveal our cover." Remuel who heard Arlesk also accepted Draxus's plan. "Very well, then I, Remuel Baphomet also vote to allow our cover to be revealed." After hearing those two, Draxus's eyes returned to his phone. His hands were still clenching while Olivia placed her left hand over it. "Sir Kaiser, please allow Draxus to reveal your covers. It's for the good of the country, and I will make sure that none of you will take a loss to this..." Olivia was quivering, she was right next to Draxus who was feeling the direct pressure of Serkyrio, but since he saw Olivia resolve herself, he should step up as well. "I, Draxus Heimdal, will bear and face the consequences and responsibility of what will happen to us." Olivia who heard Draxus's resolute voice followed up even more. "I, Olivia Yuriel Quisterion, will bear and face the consequences along with Draxus Heimdal as his fiancee." Serkyrio who received the resolution of the two sighed out. "Haaah... Very well, I have a condition to the king." The king who was suddenly called let out a small noise [Mu...?] and responded. "May I know what it is?" Serkyrio immediately explained it. "Do not provide Draxus with a position. This is a little early but once our training is over, we may have to leave your country and establish a new one sooner or later. Do you accept the condition?" The king was shocked as to where and why they plan to develop a country. "Why do you want to form one when there's no hero benefit? Where would you form it...?" Serkyrio provided the king with satisfactory answers. "We don't need a hero since we can pretty much handle the battles ourselves. Draxus himself is already way too strong to become an opponent to Ulysses if both of them use everything they have. As for the location, you gave us the perfect place when you showed that map." The king who realized Serkyrio's words opened his eyes wide and started pondering deeply. In his thoughts, a huge amount of processes came through. "He's right, with their powers far surpassing the heroes, they could manage to fight against the monsters there without a problem. And they will be able to monopolize the resources." Those words remained in his mind, Serkyrio added in even more information. "If you don't provide Draxus a position, you will receive the profit of having a strong alliance as Olivia will become engaged with one of my disciples who will rule a certain section of that area. The trade of wonderful resources, and you get it all for yourself. Don't worry, I will still perform your personal request for world peace." The king who received the explanation of him receiving the profits and his world peace request accepted immediately. "Very well, I accept your conditions, even the ones that will come on the future." Serkyrio then apologized to Draxus for giving a huge amount of pressure. Draxus didn't mind it as he knew that Serkyrio was testing him. "I, Serkyrio Kaiser, approve of revealing our cover." Draxus thanked Serkyrio, Arlesk, and Remuel and concluded the Emergency Conference. He stood up, moved to a corner and sat down and hugged his knees while shivering badly. "That was scariest shitshow in my entire life!" Olivia immediately ran to his position and comforted him. Ulysses started talking with the King and Prince Oswald.

"That pressure and willpower, was really scary. It wasn't directed to me but as expected, I can't face that amount of terror directly." Ulysses gave out a comment to the power of Serkyrio. "Draxus completely wavered, I thought Serkyrio was just strong enough to beat the three of them at once but I never even thought that Serkyrio would actually even dominate them with sheer pressure." Oswald sighed out in exasperation to the contents of the sudden conference between the four. "At the very least, I'm glad everything went well. With their support as people who are much stronger than our heroes, we can really feel assured that we won't be assassinated by the duke's nobles." King Oscar drank the tea that was served on the table. While taking a short break, the king, prince, and hero drank their tea in peace. Ulysses glanced at Draxus and Olivia who are still in the corner of the room. "Nevertheless, I'm glad that somebody stronger than me will marry Olivia, I should introduce him to Alexia. She'll be happy that her sister is getting married to someone that Olivia loves." Oswald immediately agreed with Ulysses. "True, if she marries Draxus, then I don't have to worry." Oscar then reprimanded the two while telling a joke. "Both of you, you're being like overprotective brothers. I'm more worried about Draxus since he looks like the type that will start a harem. We should give him advice as to how to take care of a girl, specially if he gets multiple wives in the future. I'm sure Olivia understands that, his powers being far superior to a hero, becoming a wife, or even just being an acquaintance to him will be too great. So once that country Sir Kaiser mentioned is done, then their existences will be way too important. As men, we should advice Draxus on how to handle women, ya hear me?" The three of them simply laughed lightly as they talked about how great the existence of Serkyrio, Arlesk, Remuel, and Draxus could possibly become.
