Is It Wrong to Abusing Cartoon Tropes in Dungeon?

Chapter 124: 124 Nuclear Entrance!

Riding the slow, old-fashioned train, Altair finally left Norway after two days of travel.

Once he crossed the border, high-speed trains and flights became available again, but Altair had no intention of spending money. At the airport, he began pondering his next destination.

This "dungeon" world allowed him to come and go as he pleased. When Altair left, time in this world would freeze, like a save point in a game. The next time he entered, it would resume right from that moment.

Altair had a decent understanding of the world of Campione. The myths binding the gods, the hidden Netherworld, the mundane world where humans lived, Heretic Gods, magical societies, the King Who Manifests at the World's End—he had a basic grasp of these concepts.

The world itself was fascinating. The mythology of this realm merged elements from various early myths, portraying the descent of Heretic Gods and their battles. Goddesses and serpents were often vilified, while male gods and heroes were glorified. It mirrored humanity's transition from matriarchal to patriarchal societies, where Earth Mother goddesses were overthrown and male gods took center stage. This alternative narrative was worth delving into.

However, as for the Campiones and the original characters in the story, Altair had some strong opinions.

First off, Marquis Voban was a beast!

Altair wasn't sure what point in time this world was set in, but based on his knowledge, Marquis Voban was the oldest Campione of the current era. He was the first of his generation to make a name for Campiones, leaving behind a trail of destruction and even becoming a legendary figure.

As for the others, aside from the Black Prince, most of them had questionable sanity.

Speaking of questionable minds, Altair thought Luo Hao, the Ruler of the Martial Realm, might take the prize for being the most insane.

Luo Hao had lived for over 200 years and still managed to make incredibly foolish decisions. Altair couldn't help but curse the author of the original work for giving her such an absurdly bad personality.

With that, Altair decided—his next target would be Luo Hao, the brain-dead Campione.

Each Campione had their own territory. Marquis Voban ruled Eastern Europe, the Black Prince controlled Britain, the Sword King reigned in Italy, Lady Aisha wandered unpredictably, John Smith stayed in the Americas, and Luo Hao governed in China.

Most crossover stories Altair had read about the Campione world either took place in Italy or Japan. Altair decided to head straight to her, take down Luo Hao, and claim her territory as his own.

After his experiences in the zombie apocalypse world, Altair had a newfound respect for the speed and efficiency of modern infrastructure.

Sneaking onto a flight, Altair spent over ten hours in the air before finally landing in the bustling metropolis.

Hitching a ride to the outskirts of the city, Altair prepared to make his next move. Activating [Dragon Transformation], he transformed.

A massive black dragon with a wingspan of over 300 meters appeared out of nowhere, towering over the outskirts. The sheer explosion of cursed energy from his transformation instantly fried every electronic device in the vicinity.

Looking down at his dragon form for the first time, Altair was ecstatic. This power—it felt incredible! His body surged with energy, making him feel unstoppable.

"GEYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Letting out a thunderous roar toward the heavens, Altair deliberately shattered his low presence passive. Spreading his enormous wings, he took to the skies, heading straight for Luo Hao's stronghold.

The sudden burst of cursed energy didn't go unnoticed. Across the globe, magical societies scrambled to analyze the event. Seers and oracles fixated on Asia, where this massive surge of energy had erupted.

In this country, mages could see the massive black shadow blotting out the sky.

The Seventh King had appeared—on Luo Hao's territory!

The giant form unmistakably resembled the World Dragon, Nidhogg. It was clear that this was the authority granted to the Seventh King.

But why had the Seventh King come to Luo Hao's domain and activate his powers? Was he challenging Luo Hao? She is famous for being the most unreasonable and crazy Campione!

News of this event spread rapidly among magical societies worldwide. All eyes turned to China, eager to learn why the new King was provoking a Campione—and what the outcome of their clash would be.

However, the massive black dragon they had been observing vanished from sight shortly after its appearance.

Altair's passive ability had activated, reducing his presence once more. The terrifying aspect of this skill was undeniable—despite being a colossal creature hundreds of meters long, he could erase his existence from perception entirely. "Megumi Kato levels of stealth, absolutely brilliant!" Altair thought with amusement.

While Altair disappeared from their immediate vision, the news of his presence and his flight toward Luo Hao's territory spread quickly.

In a remote corner of the mountain, a young, dashing man stood nervously outside a small, secluded temple. He kept his head low, staring at the ground, not daring to make a single reckless move. The inhabitant behind the door before him was none other than the infamous Ruler of the Martial Realm... Luo Hao.

Luo Hao's rules were absolute and terrifying. No one was allowed to look directly at her—those who did would have their eyes gouged out. Hearing her voice meant losing one's ears, and speaking to her meant forfeiting one's tongue. The penalty for defiance? Death.

Yet one exception existed: the young man himself, Lu Yinghua, Luo Hao's sole direct disciple.

Though not a Campione, Lu Yinghua's martial prowess had reached extraordinary heights under Luo Hao's tutelage. Save for those monstrous Campiones, there were few in the world who could stand against him.

Of course, in front of Luo Hao, he was nothing more than an obedient junior. If she wanted to beat him, she would—and often did.

"Master," Lu Yinghua said, voice trembling. "The Seventh King is currently untraceable, but it's confirmed that he's heading toward this location."

As the only person allowed to speak to Luo Hao, Lu Yinghua had rushed to deliver this crucial information as soon as he received it.

Unfortunately, the result of his report wasn't a reply—it was a slap.

The door flew open, and without seeing Luo Hao or even hearing her voice, Lu Yinghua was sent flying with a single strike.

"Such trivial matters dare disturb my training?"

Landing dozens of meters away, Lu Yinghua coughed up blood, his face filled with frustration. What was he supposed to do? This was a clash between Campiones—he had no choice but to report it. If he said nothing and something went wrong, he would be the one to suffer. But if he did speak up, he'd still get punished before anything even happened.

"I've heard you. Now leave."

Luo Hao's voice echoed from within the temple, but she still didn't appear.

"Yes, Master," Lu Yinghua replied. Struggling to his feet, he clutched his chest and bowed respectfully before retreating.

Not long after Lu Yinghua left, the skies above the mountain erupted with a strange percussion rhythm. The music covered the entire region, even extending beyond the mountain's borders.

Everyone within range looked up, searching the skies for the source of the sound. Yet aside from a few drifting clouds, the sky was empty.

Lu Yinghua, limping his way down from the mountain, stopped in his tracks upon hearing the music. He instinctively gazed upward, his intuition screaming that something was wrong. the mountain had become incredibly dangerous, and this sense of impending doom was growing stronger by the second.

Something terrifying was approaching—something powerful and unseen.

The ominous hum of the music intensified. Lu Yinghua's nerves were stretched to their limit. Without hesitation, he turned and began running at full speed. Whatever was coming, it was beyond his ability to handle. He had to escape—no matter what.

Ignoring his injuries, Lu Yinghua pushed his lightweight movement technique to its absolute peak. His body became a blur as he fled in the opposite direction of the mountain. He'd barely made it a kilometer when—

Shiiiiing

A blinding blue pillar of light descended from the heavens without warning, piercing through the mountain with an earth-shattering roar.

[Nuclear Entrance!]

The colossal blue beam obliterated the mountain's landscape.

With the resounding crash of his entrance, Altair Nidhogg had arrived—like a nuclear bomb detonating.
