Her mother by herself was a considerable powerhouse but now they even had Dragon King Tiamat as their ally. 

With what happened to Vivian it would be a no-brainer if Tiamat did not hold any grudges. 

She knew some things about dragons and knew that they were fiercely overprotective of their young, and the reason this woman hadn't stormed the Bael clan territory was due to Venelana's persuasions.

Her mother told the woman that killing a worm-like Zekram was too kind to him. They should let him watch as the empire and legacy he built crumbled. 

Tiamat had to begrudgingly accept as she didn't want to have too many eyes on her son, the last event itself was a little too high profile and, to be honest, Tiamat didn't hate these peaceful days where she could just hold her baby and lie down lazily....

"Mother" Mirellia called out to Venelana who was feeding her little brother. 

"Hmm?" Venelana motioned for her to continue as she stroked Vivina's head. 

" The Bael clan head proposed marriage to me in hopes of strengthening the bonds between noble houses and making sure the pureblood devil population does not fall off " Mirellia said calmly but her voice still betrayed her distaste and disdain. 

It was only natural for the current Bael clan head to consider proposing marriage to Mirellia as she was one of the most sought-after female devils in the underworld. 

Whether it be for her beauty, strength, or influence she was a very popular woman among the male devils. 

The Belphagor clan had always been neutral and Mirellia as its head has always been part of a delicate political structure. 

Many clans had tried to propose marriage alliances with them through Mirellia or Roygun. 

Even Gremory and Sitri clan heads had tried to marry Mirellia but she had remained steadfast in her conviction to remain neutral and unmarried.

No amount of pressure could move her and due to her mother's help she wasn't under too much pressure either. 

But this proposal from the Bael clan came with the promise of making her the main wife implied their seriousness in forging this alliance. 

But Mirellia wasn't afraid and the only reason why she didn't outright reject them was because she wished to discuss it with Venelana and see how she wanted to deal with it. 

Should she just outright reject them in a way that would make the Bael clan head lose his face or just politely refuse without making much of a fuss.....

"Hmm" Venelana hummed slightly as a smile formed on her face but her eyes were far from smiling.

She didn't outright tell Mirellia what to do but took a few moments to contemplate the matter as she stroked Vivian's head soothingly who seemed to have fallen asleep after she fed him. 

" Reject him and try to make it known to everyone, also no need to be polite you can reject his offer in an insulting way " Venalan replied calmly. 

Even if Mirellia insulted him and made him lose his dignity in front of all noble houses Venelana knew her brother wouldn't dare to do anything. 

For Venelana making her brother look like a clown was just for entertainment purposes and her plans had long since changed. 

For her killing Zekram was always easy but she was not satisfied with that, she wished to erase his influence. 

And that was a hard thing to do for her as Zekram was one of the devils personally created by Lucifer and he was considered to be Satan's right-hand man. 

After the 4 Satans died Zekram expanded his influence and created his own faction preaching pureblood supremacy. 

So if she were to kill Zekram then she would be painted as a criminal and although nothing would happen to her she did not want Zekram to be seen as some hero. 

So her plans were done secretively and slowly, but now there was no need to go through such troublesome motions because she had her son who was a Lucifer. 

Having Vivian in the picture changed everything as his mere existence was akin to overturning the chessboard that was Underworlds political landscape.

And the most surprising thing was Vivian's existence was unknown to Zekram because the researchers wanted to keep it a secret.

Zekram only knew that they tried to create a perfect devil but failed, and he didn't doubt it as it would be a monumental task to create a devil with so many bloodlines and genes. 

So even if Vivian's existence was known to Zekram he wouldn't connect it with Superdevil research. 

And even if he knew Vivian's origins, so what? 

But it was better to avoid trouble if they could thus her caution, she preferred her peaceful life and didn't want it to be disturbed by self-entitled clowns. 

Thus her caution and her behaviour did not stem from fear but to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. 

If anybody tried to do something against her son then she would obliterate them. 

Even if she did not give birth to him, the connection she felt with him was undeniable. So she would be damned if she let anything happen to her child. 

As a mother she wanted the best for her child and Venelana already had plans to make her son a major figure in devil society, she would never force him and if he does not have ambition for it then that's okay his mother can take care of him....for the rest of his life...

The only validation you need in life is from yourself, love yourself more and don't be bothered by other people's words.
