Invasion of the United States

Chapter 28: Attack on the Police Station_2

Two minutes later, Kongges departed from Elvin's house, driving to rendezvous. He didn't intend to cover his face and asked Zhou Qingfeng in astonishment, "Where did you get the stockings?"

"Three nights ago when we were attacked, I took Carl away and thought the stockings might come in handy, so I took them from Julia's wardrobe." He said it righteously.

Kongges angrily said, "You took my wife's stockings?"

Zhou Qingfeng shrugged and said, "I wanted to take Selena's, but your daughter's legs are thin, and the stockings are small. Your wife is plump and likes to wear black stockings, which are more suitable for putting over the head."

"You..." Kongges' anger surged, "Did you wear my wife's stockings the last time you robbed the lottery?"

"Yeah, I took them from the laundry basket. Julia even discovered it afterward, but fortunately, she didn't say anything. I'm really grateful she saved me some face."

Seeing Zhou Qingfeng looking so at ease, Kongges couldn't help but want to beat the kid up. Julia had mentioned the kid going out at night but didn't say he stole stockings...

It really made one's blood boil.

"Enough chatter, we don't have much time. If Matthew's strongmen return, we'll have nowhere to escape."

The pickup started, drove a few dozen meters, then screeched to a halt at the police station doors.

Kongges was the first to jump out, grabbing an assault rifle and rushing to the door, kicking open the heavy door with one foot.

The firearms came from Elvin's reserve; every policeman keeps several at home. Zhou Qingfeng grabbed a shotgun, following Kongges, responsible for covering him.

Over their heads, a drone hovered, controlled by Old Hammer, monitoring the surroundings of the police station, providing some early warnings to avoid problems with their escape route.

-----------------

White Beach Town's police station was already understaffed, and the night shift was even emptier.

After the 'luring the tiger away from the mountain' strategy, only a matronly female clerical officer was left, responsible for answering the phone.

When Kongges kicked open the police station door, the entire hall was empty, and the matronly female officer looked up in panic.

This corpulent woman usually didn't even join patrols, let alone had any combat capability.

"Kongges!" The matronly female officer recognized the familiar face and, seeing the assault rifle tightly gripped in his hand, turned pale with fright, her voice breaking with tremors.

"Don't... don't be agitated! Director Matthew is in his office! I strongly opposed your resignation, I won't stop you from doing anything, just please don't shoot!"

While she spoke, her hands adeptly clasped her head, shrinking obediently into a corner, not daring to look at Kongges.

If there had been even one or two responsible officers left in the station, even pulling out their guns for deterrence, Kongges wouldn't have been able to infiltrate so easily.

But Director Matthew had long crushed the station's morale, and had never anticipated someone daring enough to storm the station with guns.

In the office, the director sat in his wide chair, still contemplating the aftermath of eliminating Elvin and Kongges.

Hearing the female officer's scream outside, he suddenly froze.

Immediately following, the door "crashed" open, Kongges burst in like an angry bull, armed and ready. Еnjоying thе stоry? Disсоvеr mоrе оn М|V|LЕМ6РYR.

The director's heart plunged. He instinctively stood up, his face turning deathly pale.

In this moment of life and death, an absurd thought flashed through his mind—When did this crude Kongges get so smart? He actually learned deception?

"You... how are you here?" Director Matthew forced himself to remain calm, but his voice trembled uncontrollably, "Aren't you supposed to be..."

"Where? At the cottage outside town, waiting to be caught by your men?" Kongges sneered, his gun steadily aimed at Director Matthew's chest.

Director Matthew's forehead broke into a cold sweat, his fingers clenched the edge of the desk. There was a gun in the drawer, but facing the barrel, he dared not move.

"Kongges, we can talk..." Director Matthew reluctantly squeezed out a smile, his voice dry, "Don't forget your wife and daughter."

Zhou Qingfeng, wearing stockings, entered with his gun aimed at the cowering female officer, shouted, "Hurry up, Kongges, we can't waste time."

Kongges turned the stock, giving the director a hard hit on the head to vent his rage.

Director Matthew's face was instantly covered in "blossoms," his brow fractured, blood splattered, one eye immediately swollen, falling to the ground, screaming miserably.

Kongges then took out an anesthetic syringe from his pocket, injecting two milliliters of propofol into his neck.

Seconds later, the director's brain suddenly shut down and lost consciousness.

Zhou Qingfeng entered the director's office, searched his desk, focusing on his phone, and asked, "What's the unlock for this guy's phone?"

"Right index finger." Kongges grabbed the director's right hand, pressing his index finger onto the fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.

Once unlocked, Zhou Qingfeng quickly connected the phone to a decoder and then threw it into his backpack, leaving the rest of the work to 'Gray Shark' wirelessly.

Kongges dragged the heavy director out of the station like a dead pig, lifting him onto the pickup truck parked outside.

Zhou Qingfeng's gun was aimed at the stationed female officer, and he asked with a sinister smile, "Will you call the police?"

Facing the shotgun barrel, the matronly officer was terrified to her core and found no humor in the masked gunman's dark joke.

Zhou Qingfeng forced the station officer to lie down, pulled a toy grenade from his pocket, tore off the pin, and shoved it under her, threatening, "Press down tight, or it will explode."
