Chapter 11
Chapter 11
“Star core?” Kokolia looked thoughtful after hearing this, and her arms subconsciously hugged together.
Gu Ze could vaguely see that at her cuffs, there seemed to be some strange crystals sticking to her skin.
“It is a calamity that suddenly descends on all worlds, and many of the worlds we pass through have been poisoned by star cores.” Danheng explained.
“It was the Destruction Star God that spread the star core, so the antimatter legion appeared with the star core.” March Seven followed closely and said, “And the cold wave is also caused by the star core.
“You can think of us as interstellar enthusiasts who specifically reach out to the world that has been invaded by star cores.”
March Seven’s tone was quite sincere, but Gu Ze knew that Kokolia would not accept their help.
Sure enough, Kokolia said immediately after listening to it: “Your analysis is correct, there are some disasters that we have not completely eliminated so far… But what does that have to do with you?
“I don’t believe anyone would go out of their way to help a planet that has nothing to do with them, and nothing else.”
“You are right, we are only here to cooperate, the rift created by the star core blocks our way, and if we don’t seal it, we can’t leave.” Danheng added.
“So… Do you have the power to seal it? Kokolia’s eyes moved and asked slowly.
“We have the means.”
“Well, I trust you, and I am willing to provide assistance to help you find the star core.” Kokolia nodded and agreed, “It’s not early, I will arrange for everyone to rest, and discuss this matter properly tomorrow.”
“Well, it’s not far off.”
When the three of them saw that the other party agreed, they breathed a sigh of relief and turned around and left the office.
“Kokolia said yes on the surface, but she should print a wanted warrant to arrest us later.” Gu Ze relived the plot in his heart.
“The task given by the system is to seal the star core, if you raid Kokolia tonight, you should be able to catch her by surprise…” Gu Ze glanced at Kokolia, and gradually had a plan in his heart.
As the office door closed, Cokolia was left in the room.
She silently walked to the window and whispered something.
“What? Let me be careful with that gray-haired boy? What’s so weird about him?
“Don’t worry, I have my own way.”
……
Walking out of Fort Creper, they met Jepard waiting here.
“The Great Guardian favors you, and I have received orders to no longer restrict your movements.”
“Is it? Great, we’ve long wanted to walk around this place. March Seven said excitedly with his waist crossed.
“Well, I wish you guys a good time, I still have official business to do, so I’ll leave first.” With that, Jeppard turned and left.
The erosion of the rift became more and more serious, and he had to rush to the scene to direct the battle.
“So, let’s look around at this Belloberg.” March Seven said to the two excitedly.
“Well…”
Gu Zegang wanted to speak, only to hear a system prompt sound ringing in his pocket.
He took out the phone and opened it, only to see a message appear on the screen, the sender was the system.
[Side Mission Announced
] [Side Mission: Kill the Minotaur
] [For mission details, see the letter next to the oil cylinder]
Then the location of the mailbox is attached to the text message.
“Minotaur? Interesting tasks.
Gu Ze nodded and put the phone away, and after thinking for a moment to make up a reason, he smiled at Danheng and March Qi: “Hehe, I just saw a place that recruits people to work and want to try it.”
“Ah, isn’t shopping fun?” March Seven raised his eyebrows and was a little speechless, “How boring it is to work.”
“Also, then you guys go shopping first, I’ll go there and take a look.” Gu Ze casually pointed in the direction.
“Well, remember meeting at the Goethe Hotel in the evening.” Danheng nodded and reminded.
Gu Ze waved at them and rushed in the direction given by the system, which was an inconspicuous small corner behind the administrative square.
The brown-red oil cylinder stood alone, and in the shadow behind it, lay a letter quietly.
“This is the letter?” Gu Ze picked up the letter and opened it.
The letter reads as follows: Dear Mr. Carl Eyre, your work for this month is in my hands, don’t worry, it’s safe now.
If you want it to come back safely, please hide the 100 Winter City Shield in the shaft of the fishing rod in your house at three o’clock this Saturday afternoon, go out with this rod and wait here again, and I will contact you again.
Listen, you are not allowed to tell others about this, otherwise the results of your work will become a mess of waste! I’m sure your wife doesn’t want to see this happen.
[So, the target of this mission is this threat?
Gu Ze asked in a message on his mobile phone.
[That’s right, the purpose of destroying him is the goal of this mission. The
system quickly replied.
“It just so happens that my favorite thing to do in pure love warriors is to blast and kill minotaurs!”
Gu Ze put the letter away and threw it back into the shadows.
Carl probably hadn’t read the letter yet, after all, if he had read it, he would definitely not be able to discard it at will.
So Gu Ze planned to hide aside, wait for Karl to come and see it, and then follow him to his house to ambush him.
Sure enough, a man in a turtleneck coat looked left and right and cautiously came to the vicinity of the oil cylinder.
While carefully observing the surroundings, he quickly picked up the letter in the shadow after confirming that there was no one, and then immediately found a bench and sat down, pretending that nothing had happened just now, pretending that he was just a passerby walking.
After reading the letter, the man showed a panicked look on his face, then folded the letter and put it in his pocket, and at the same time got up and left towards the outside of the square.
“It seems that this guy is Mr. Carl Eyre mentioned in the letter.” Gu Ze nodded secretly, and then quietly followed.
……
Administrative District No. 6 Street, Room B03, Building 35.
Carl twisted the key and opened the door.
“Is the work over?”
The beautiful woman sitting on the sofa smiled and looked at her husband.
“Well, yes, it’s fine.” Carl replied without much spirit.
“You look a little unwell.” Looking at his worried look, the woman said with some concern, “We are family, if you have any troubles, you can confide in me.”
Carl’s lips twitched after hearing this, but they closed again.
“Nothing, I’ve been too tired from work lately.” In the end, he let out a sigh and said helplessly.
Then, Carl turned and entered the room, took out the fishing rod and stuffed the Hundred Winter City shield into the shaft as required on the letter.
“Strange, that document is quite important, why do I only need 100 Winterfell Shields?”
Just as he was stuffing the money, Carl suddenly had questions.
The price of this information is much more than that.
However, at the moment, time is urgent, so he has no time to think about it, so he can only do it first.
“Anna, I’m going out, and my friend asked me to go fishing with me.” Carl pulled open the door with a fishing rod and forced a smile, “I won’t come back to eat at night.”
“Going fishing so late? Carl didn’t remember the time wrong, right? Anna’s brows furrowed, and she felt more and more strange about her husband.
“Hehe, lately it’s popular for night fishing, and it’s said that it’s easier to catch some good fish, well, it won’t take much time.” Carl voiced the excuse he had prepared for a long time.
“That… You drive slowly on the road. Anna said with concern.
“I will.” Carl nodded heavily, then walked out of the house.
Just as the couple said goodbye, a figure slipped in through the open window.
