Infinite System Inheritor Return From The Abyss

Chapter 447: Ssivar and Belgom

One after another, the chosen guilds jumped through the glowing wall of water that marked the entrance to Stage Two.

The Philippine guild, Mandirigma, led by Dayanara Cruz, stood at the edge of their ship. With a signal from Dayanara, they leapt—one by one—into the wall of water.

Just a moment later, a shadow flew above their ship.

It was Zhang Wei, guildmaster of Dragon Veil, one of the elite guilds of China, and the half-brother of Wei Long. His expression was calm, but his eyes held something darker—a quiet fury, a dangerous intent.

Zhang Wei and his guild descended onto Mandirigma's now-empty ship,

His members followed behind him as they dropped with him into the glowing barrier.

Up in the sky, Lee Min Joon beside Gideon.

"If this wasn't a guild-only trial, I'd go alone," Gideon muttered, his voice deep and rough, but calm. "So thanks."

Lee Min Joon glanced at him, then looked past the barrier toward the one person he couldn't ignore—Seojun.

Already inside, Seojun stood calmly on air, having passed through the barrier moments before. But behind him, the massive nine-headed hydra tried to follow… and failed.

The moment the creature touched the wall, a push of pressure forced it back into the sea, and its nine heads roared in frustration.

"Looks like the global system is still selecting who can enter," Lee Min Joon said, eyes narrowing. "

Then, scattered around the barrier, voices began to rise in panic.

"Guildmaster! Wait! I can't enter!""I tried—my hand bounced off!""Why can't I go with them?!""This must be a mistake!"

Across multiple ships, guild members who weren't selected were discovering they couldn't pass. Some shouted after their guildmasters, others slammed their fists into the water wall between them.

Above them, the sound of spinning rotors grew louder. The news helicopter, still filming, was approaching the barrier fast.

Inside, the anchorwoman's voice cracked through the static.

"Yes! Let's hurry!" she said, as if sensing the barrier might close any moment.

"Wait," Lee Min Joon said, watching the helicopter pass through. "Lauren Hamilton didn't come with her guild, did she?"

Gideon muttered. "No. She's not here."

And they saw her Isabella Cross, the guildmaster of the USA's top guild, entered calmly with her team. But Lauren Hamilton, the one known by another name in Korea, Seojun's mother, was nowhere in sight.

"Let's go," Gideon said at last.

Without further delay, the two of them flew into the wall of water And then, like a whisper crawling into every ear on Earth, the Global System spoke again.

[GLOBAL SYSTEM NOTICE]

Stage One — Completed.

A pause. Then, the screen shifted again:

Confirmed Advancement: 24 Guilds.

[STAGE TWO INITIATED]

"The gate has opened. The chosen have entered.""Beyond the veil lies a land untouched by your kind.""A place of mystery. A world that breathes differently.""Speak wisely. Act wisely. Trust sparingly."

The message paused And then, one final sentence came,

"The Kingdom is watching."

At the same time, people around the world stared at their screens, confused and full of questions.Governments issued emergency meetings. Some scientists tried to explain the signal as a system glitch. But many… just sat frozen.

Some whispered in fear. Some leaned forward in excitement. Some clutched their hearts, hoping their favorite guilds would survive.

As Seojun stepped into the wall of water, his figure passed through smoothly like drifting into another world, the mist rising around him before it cleared to reveal the sky—yes, the open sky stretching endlessly beneath and above, and in that moment, everything shifted.

Behind him, two of his Guild members followed—Ssivar, the tall green-scaled Drakonid and Belgrom, the boar-like Grimporc, both was riding on the back of Silla.

The moment they crossed, the barrier seemed to reject Silla completely, like a divine force selecting only the chosen few, and Silla, roaring softly in confusion, faded away behind the veil of water, leaving Ssivar and Belgrom suddenly weightless in the sky with nothing beneath them but wind and clouds.

"AAAHHH—!" the two shouted in surprise as they started to fall from the open sky, their arms flailing and their eyes wide, but before they could plummet too far, Seojun turned without hesitation moving with perfect control in the air as if gravity itself did not affect him and with a simple motion.

He caught both of them—one strong arm holding onto Belgrom's and Ssivar shoulders.

"ACKKK! Thank you, Lord Seojun!" they both shouted at the same time, their voices overlapping as they clung tightly to him.

Belgrom, still catching his breath, looked down at the wide world stretching far below. "What's going on?! Why... why didn't Lord Silla come with us?!"

Seojun didn't answer immediately. His sharp white eyes scanned the surroundings, noting the streams of other falling people. plunging from the sky above with cries of shock many of them experienced enough to adjust their balance.

Grimzark, the little boy with long jet-black hair tied in a low ponytail like a tail, floated beside them with ease, arms outstretched like a bird gliding through wind, a wide grin on his face as he looked around with wonder. "Whoa... we're really in the sky," he said with a giggle, completely unfazed by the height or the fall.

He glanced back "Saddd~ Pffttt… Silla's not with us," he added, still smiling as if it was all just a fun ride, even as everyone else tumbled through the clouds below.

All across the sky, people were falling each one dropping from the clouds with wide eyes and surprised shouts, their cloaks and armor fluttering wildly as the wind roared around them like a furious storm.

Gideon flew fast, grabbing two of his falling members with one hand each, flapping his wings hard to slow their descent. Beside him, Lee Min Joon, caught several of his guildmates on its back, giving them a place to breathe and hold on tightly to his skeleton bird.

Lee Minjoon eyes went to Dayanara Cruz trying hard to calm her member when another skeleton bird caught them, Now riding its back.

Dayanara turn her head breathing heavily until she found Lee minjoon and nodded.
