Infinite System Inheritor Return From The Abyss

Chapter 437: Race for the Divine weapon

Malara stepped beside Seojun, placing her hand over her chest with deep respect.

"My lord," she said, "please stay with us for a while. I will personally handle selecting the most worthy lower-class demons. Only those who truly deserve to be beside you shall be considered."

Seojun raised his hand slowly, showing a relaxed gesture that meant something like, "It's alright,"

But before Seojun could say more, Malara gently reached out and held his hand.

"No, my lord," she said firmly, her eyes clear and proud. "Standing beside you… is not something that should be taken lightly. To serve at your side is the greatest honor in all of the Abyss."

The nearby lords listened in respectful silence, nodded in agreement. Even Sireneth, still leaning on Seojun's other arm, "You should not take lightly of yourself, Seojun."

Seojun looked at Malara, ready to answer again, but she didn't let go. She took a small step forward, her voice stronger now.

"You have been gone for years, my lord… but your name never faded. The young ones speak of you like a god. The elders pass your stories like sacred texts. You are the Abyss Lord—not just by title, but by power, by legacy, and by the hearts of every demon clan."

She paused, then added softly, "If we allow just anyone to stand at your side, we would insult that legacy. Let me do this. Please-."

Seojun let out a small sigh muttered, "Alright, alright…"

Malara smiled, finally letting go of his hand and bowing deeply. "Thank you, my lord. I will not disappoint you."

Around them, the feast continued—but now with whispers of excitement spreading between demons of every clan.

Two days later, The sun hovered high in the sky, casting golden light across a vast, mysterious island in the middle of the sea. The wind carried the sound of engines, propellers, and excited voices as news helicopters flew in slow circles above the scene, broadcasting the event live to the entire world.

On every screen—from massive city billboards to small living room TVs—reporters appeared with headsets and anxious expressions, speaking over the roar of waves and wind.

"This is a historic moment," one anchor said, her voice sharp and filled with energy, "as you can see behind me, the island is completely surrounded. Dozens of ships, yachts, and military-class vessels have anchored just off the shore. Representatives from every continent are here—from powerful guilds, top-rankers, researchers, and even government observers. Everyone is waiting."

The camera shifted to show a large view of the ocean. Ships lined the water in every direction, some glowing with magic barriers, others displaying the crests of famous guilds. The largest yacht, all white with shimmering enchantments running along its hull, bore the crest of the Awakeners' Association—a golden sword crossed with a dragon wing.

On the decks of these ships stood top rankers in sleek uniforms and armor, some cloaked in spells while others simply watched the island silently, their eyes sharp and focused. Each one knew this was not just any ordinary island—this was the place the Global System had named for the quest.

No one was allowed to step onto the island yet. They were all waiting for the exact moment when the system would unlock access.

The screen zoomed in on the island itself, covered in fog and thick green trees. Strange shapes occasionally moved within the shadows of the jungle, but nothing was clear. A pulsing light could be seen from the center of the island—slowly beating like a heartbeat.

Back in the helicopter, the reporter gripped her mic tightly. "We still don't know what lies inside," she said.

Crowds all over the world were glued to the screens. In schools, streets, and cafes, people whispered and pointed. Some had guild betting pools. Others watched with silent hope. A few even prayed.

Because everyone knew what this meant, The race for the Divine Weapon was about to begin.

The at one of the grandest yachts circling the island. The deck shimmered with layers of mana shielding and enchantments, and at its front stood the heart of the Vortex Guild: Alex and Alexa.

Behind them, their guild members stood in formation. The atmosphere was both relaxed and tense—like warriors waiting for a signal to drop.

A laugh echoed above the murmurs, sharp and wild.

"Hoohoo~ This is the best world quest!" cackled Seoha, the Madqueen of Vortex front line. The Top 5 of korea

She stood boldly at the edge of the yacht, resting her massive greatsword, glowing with red flames, against her shoulder. Her Red short hair till neck whipped in the wind, and her red eyes sparkled with excitement. Dressed in half-armor and a blood-red coat that danced with embers, she looked more like a war goddess.

She raised one hand and waved toward a nearby ship.

"Tanakaaa! We meet again!" she shouted with a grin.

Across the waves, a sleek black ship floated calmly. Its sides bore the recently updated guild name: End of Heaven, Japan's number one guild, known worldwide for its discipline, power, and deep connection to both tradition and modern tech. The crest—a golden torii gate pierced by a katana—gleamed in the sunlight.

Standing at the bow was Tanaka Hiroshi, the guildmaster. He was a tall, well-built man in his 20s, wearing a dark kimono-style combat uniform layered with light armor.

His silver-rimmed glasses reflected the light as he turned and gave Seoha a polite bow, his black hair tied back in a warrior's knot

Beside him stood Nakamura Yuki, his second-in-command and the right hand of End of Heaven. She wore a modernized battle kimono in pale blue, her long sleeves embroidered with protective runes.

Her black hair flowed freely, and two short katanas rested on her back in an "X." She bowed politely toward Guild's yacht, then raised a hand to wave.

"Hello," Yuki called out,

"Class rep" Alex and Alexa smiled.

Yuki Chuckled. "Still calling me that, huh?" And the two talk.

Seoha glanced back at Alex. "Hey! When will Seojun show up?! He'll miss the fun!"
