Chapter 774: Prison
As Rain looked at the horizon, a chilling sight could be seen. More dragons were approaching, each of them powerful and foreboding in their own right. The distant silhouettes emerged from the horizon with an ominous presence that made Rain click his tongue in annoyance.
Among them were the Meteor Dragons, their fiery tails blazing across the sky as they hurtled towards the battlefield. Golem Dragons followed, massive creatures adorned with rocky exteriors, seemingly impervious to harm. The Tyrant Dragons, known for their imposing stature and commanding presence, loomed ominously as they dashed closer.
And then, the Volcanic Dragons, wreathed in molten fire and billowing smoke, approached with an intensity that seemed to mirror the fury of an erupting volcano.
It was as if these dragons were biding their time, waiting at the right moment of the conflict, as if sensing an impending turning point in the battle. Their looming presence hinted at an imminent shift in the tide of the ongoing struggle, and Rain couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding at the sheer might and number of these powerful creatures.
Seadrei saw them as well, and for a moment, he was completely paralyzed… all of those dragons were completely different from the sea dragons that he fought…
In that brief moment of hesitation, the storm dragons used their magic to charge the clouds with mana and before long, the lightning bolts began to fall like rain… Rain blocked those that targeted him with his giant ice arms while Seadrei kept hidden inside the water sphere… still, they couldn't do that forever.
Fortunately, they had back up… the mages on the walls while being led by Rain's sisters attacked the clouds with their wind magic and made them dissipate in all directions… the blasts made the cyclones lose power too and soon the number of lightning bolts falling decreased exponentially.
Without wasting time, Rain used that chance to jump toward the next target and bombarded their head with a barrage of punches. The creature didn't even last two seconds…
However, the third storm dragon wasn't messing around. The creature suddenly created a wind barrier around itself that pushed Rain away when he punched it… the weird thing about that was the fact that the wind barrier was getting bigger by sucking the wind of the cyclones around.
"... That is one weird greediness," Rain thought.
Rain decided to ignore that one and then charged toward another target… but when he was about to reach the creature… another massive wind sphere blocked his path. Rain saw that dragon doing the same thing as the other and also taking the wind from the other dragon.
"I guess that is what happens when you put a bunch of greedy beings in the same place," Rain furrowed his eyebrows.
Rain looked to the side for a moment and then he saw Seadrei grabbing one of the storm dragons with several water arms and then pulled down the creature and smashed it against the ground.
At the same time, the inferno dragons were fired even more massive fireballs toward the giant water sphere while the remaining storm dragons were moving toward the capital since they got tired of being surrounded by people there.
"Not on my watch," Rain thought.
The dragons made the mistake of exposing themselves to Rain… when they saw that Rain targeted them, he had already ripped apart the wings of three of them.
The battlefield echoed with the anguished cries of the dragons as Rain, with swift and precise movements, targeted their wings. With heavy slashes with his ice fists, he severed the wings, causing an explosion of crimson droplets that fell down from the sky like a macabre rain.
The dragons writhed in agony, their deafening cries filling the air as the severed wings fell, leaving trails of blood in their wake.
Yet, as the lifeblood of these creatures fell towards the ground, an unusual sight unfolded. Instead of splattering onto the battlefield, the blood seemed to be mysteriously drawn, as if by an invisible force. To the amazement of onlookers, the crimson droplets were absorbed by a ring on Rain's finger. Each drop that landed on the ring disappeared into it, leaving no trace behind.
"If I cause too much damage with this, I won't get any experience, so I have to be wiser," Rain thought.
In the end, Rain let his anger and frustration take over him again, but not completely. When the aura covered him, before it could cloud his judgment, he fired blasts of wind around toward the six winged dragons and the wind turned into dark lightning bolts.
The atmosphere crackled with an intense surge of dark energy as Rain unleashed a barrage of dark lightning bolts toward the six-winged dragons. The bolts streaked through the sky, their ominous hue contrasting starkly against the vibrant backdrop. As they lanced through the air, several of the bolts found their marks, striking the six-winged dragons with precise accuracy.
Upon impact, the dark lightning surged through the bodies of the majestic creatures. A paralyzing effect spread swiftly, seizing their muscular frames mid-flight. Stricken with an unearthly force, the dragons' movements faltered, their wings momentarily freezing in place as the sinister bolts continued their relentless assault.

The dark energy coursing through their bodies seemed to sear and burn, leaving marks upon their wings. Some of the electrifying strikes left scorched trails along their otherwise immaculate plumage, causing fragments of feathers to ignite briefly in the wake of the lightning's impact.
The six winged dragons began to fall since they lost their balance and soon Rain body and Aura returned to normal… the ring didn't get that much blood anyway, so it made sense that it didn't last forever.
While the six winged dragons were having a hard time avoiding their fall, the mages on the walls being led by Rain's sisters bombarded them with earth spears on their faces… unable to control their bodies and adding to the fact that their defense was low, the six winged dragons began to fall one after the other.
