Infinite Helix

Arturian finished his story. That was Arturian Noble the Seconds description of the event. After the story was finished, the entire room remained quiet for about five seconds. Then the entire room started laughing. The one at the front desk had stopped writing well over a minute ago. Noone took what he was saying seriously. After about a minute of finishing the story, all of the spectators in the front room had left with some smaller laughs still being heard among separate smaller groups as they headed back to work. After about another minute, Arturian and the two employees were the only ones who remained. One of the two then said "Thank you for your description of the incident today, Mr. Noble. A report will be filed to some of our finest and will be investigated accordingly. Have a great day!"

That was not enough to get Arturian to leave.

Arturian stood there and insisted on them at checking the cameras. The employee at the desk merely stated she would have an officer look into it, then wished Arturian a great day again.

This was still not enough to get Arturian to leave and the secretary could tell.

He insisted this time to go to with an officer now to take a look at the cameras in the surveillance room.

She stared at Arturian, rolled her eyes, then finally paged someone. An officer a few minutes later came to the front a motioned Arturian to come with him.

As Arturian walked away with the officer, he heard the wrinkling of paper as if it were being formed into a ball, the sound as if it hit the bottom of a metal trashcan, and the sound of the secretaries high fiving as if one of them had made a shot from far away.

Just as a slight correction, not everyone actually had dispersed after Arturian told his story that day. There was actually one more person around the corner who stuck around listening for just another minute more before going back to work....
