Infinite Harem System: I Grow Stronger From Every Female Lead

Chapter 81: Falmouth City(1)

"Hahaha, Tony thinks he's got something going for him and went ahead to propose to Mary."

"Let the fool take his shot at least."

"Bloody hell, it's that woman's loss for turning me down."

The loud inn near the edge of the northern region of the world of the goddess Tessia buzzed with noise as mercenaries and adventurers alike laughed and drank heavily.

However, the moment three figures entered, clad in black Northern cloaks and thick scarves that gave off a noble aura, snow and icy wind trailing in behind them, silence fell across the room.

One had white blonde hair and dazzling golden eyes, his face capable of brightening anyone's day, godlike rather than merely prince-like.

Behind him were two equally stunning women: one with blonde hair and pale eyes who looked like she had stepped straight out of a man's fantasy, and another with red hair and emerald eyes, the kind of face that would keep anyone awake all night.

But it wasn't just their looks that quieted the inn, though that played a role. It was their attire.

The world of the goddess Tessia was divided into three main continents, excluding the vast seas.

The central and first continent lay toward the north; to the west was the second continent, also known as the continent of worship, the Holy Empire. The third continent was located northeast of the world.

What all these regions had in common was one thing:

Mercenaries and adventurers.

And if there was one thing those mercenaries despised, it was nobles and royals.

The demonic dragons ruled nearly the entire north, stretching from the northern edges of the world to the lands governed by the third continent.

To the east of the demonic dragons were the Northern Dukedom of the Empire; to the west, the Northern Elves; and at the center, the Northern Dwarves—all of whom they shared the same hatred to.

The man being talked about, Tony, glared at the striking young man as he approached the receptionist, who had been blushing since he entered.

"Can I get a large room?" the young man asked with a smile.

The receptionist nodded quickly, fumbling with the keys. "Would you like a bed warmer as well?"

The young man offered an innocent smile. "No, thank you."

The receptionist, Mary, leaned in. "Sir, it would be better if you dropped the noble tone. These men aren't fond of aristocrats." She glanced at his face, unable to look away. "Are you sure you don't want that bed—"

Before she could finish, the sound of a wooden mug shattering echoed through the quiet inn.

"Looks like Tony's had enough," someone muttered as a muscular, scarred man stood to his feet.

The man glared at the young noble, killing intent radiating as he unsheathed his worn blade.

"How dare you go after my Mary?"

Mary's expression darkened. "I'm not your Mary."

Tony's eyes welled up as he cried out, "Mary..." He turned to the stunning stranger. "...It's because of this bastard that you rejected me, isn't it?"

'I'm pretty sure I just got here,' the young man thought.

Tony then pointed his blade at him as several other men surrounded the trio.

"I'll send you to hell, you worm."

The young man lifted his cloak slightly, gripping the hilt of his icy blade adorned with a golden crest.

He looked at Mary. "Are you two together?"

Mary shook her head like she had never seen Tony before, which only fueled his rage.

The man exhaled, as if reluctant but compelled to act.

"You see, brother, the world is biased toward beauty. Those with good looks tend to get ahead."

He stepped forward without haste. "I didn't want to cause trouble, but you've forced my hand."

'Well, I probably would've used force anyway.'

The young man, no, Arthur Val Arcain, lowered the scarf covering his mouth slightly.

His eyes shimmered a shade of moonlight gray, tinged with pale blue, as he slowly pulled one hand from his cloak.

『 You have activated: Dragon Tongue 』

『 You have activated: True Bloodlust 』

"All of you. Kneel."

At his command, pale blue light flashed across the entrance in an instant.

In the next moment, golden chains, imperceptible to the naked eye or even those using basic energy perception, wrapped around the mercenaries, forcing them all to their knees.

They couldn't speak. The chains muffled their mouths, and even their weapons clattered to the floor.

Tony struggled to form words, and after Arthur studied him for a moment, he flicked his finger, loosening the chain over the trembling man's mouth.

Tony gasped for breath, glaring at Arthur. "Just who the hell are you? What's a noble this powerful doing here?"

Arthur smiled calmly and replied:

"I am Arthur Val Arcain, son of Queen Alicia Arcain. Whoever dares raise their blade against me or my people shall be frozen beneath the eternal frost of the North."

The entire room gasped.

Not only was the man royalty, but he had just made a declaration that bordered on treason.

Tony couldn't help but grin. 'Looks like we've got a real lunatic visiting this time.'

Arthur saw the shock in their eyes—and also the awe, as if they had just found a glimmer of hope.

Tony forced a broader grin and asked:

"So what does a bastard like you want with us?"

Arthur tilted his head in a mockingly casual manner. "Aren't you afraid? What if I ordered you to barge into my Aunt's castle?"

'This guy's even crazier than I thought,' Tony mused.

"Well, I'll be damned if someone like you makes that kind of call."

Arthur studied him. "You don't know anything about me. How can you be so sure?"

Tony met his gaze unflinchingly. "Your eyes tell me what kind of man you are."

"And what do they say?"

Tony swallowed, knowing this might be his only chance to survive. "That..." He turned away, cheeks flushing. "...that you're a hopeless romantic."

His entire crew, still pinned to the floor, glared at him as if he had just ruined their last chance at salvation.

Arthur placed one hand on his chin, the other still resting on his blade's pommel.

'He's not entirely wrong,' a sudden smile crept up his lips. 'An eye that can perceive more than that of an average person. Interesting.'

Arthur lowered his hand and extended it.

"Tony, right?" He added, "Why don't you come work for me?"
