Infinite Harem System: I Grow Stronger From Every Female Lead

Chapter 125: Back To The Normal World (3)

"No, Seraph, you're my shadow."

Seraph sulked. "Then as your shadow do I come after your wives like a higher concubine?"

Arthur nodded.

Seeing this, she got up from his body while Isabella gave a warm smile.

Arthur turned to her, slightly pouting. "You should have helped me."

She chuckled, covering her mouth with her hand. "But it was sweet."

"Hmph."

Seraph, as if she had been waiting for ages, slid into his shadow.

Arthur didn't react and continued down the hallway that led to the room housing the main clock mechanism.

'She's supposed to be around there, right?'

The next instant after his thought, a lone figure dashed out from a corner as if something were chasing her.

The moment she turned to face forward, she froze.

"Ar... Arthur Arcain."

Arthur, with his hands in his pockets, continued with deliberate steps. Behind him, Isabella didn't even try to hide her killing intent.

The woman with a heart at the top of her tail trembled slightly, clutching a book in her hand.

She, no, Agrat, turned to run away, only for the sound of crackling lightning to make her pause.

From the other side was a face Arthur never thought he would see here.

Agrat's face twisted in despair.

Even if she wasn't in full control of Tessia's body, she had seen enough to know who to be cautious of in that bastard Arthur's harem.

And the one she ranked first with the highest threat level was the same girl she had beaten up during the entrance exam.

'This fucking crazy yandere.'

Arthur's eyes widened as Ellie stepped out of the shadow with lightning crackling around her palm. "It's been a long time," she said with a smile so wide it closed her eyes. "Agrat."

There was nowhere to run.

Agrat turned to Arthur's side.

A literal god was standing there.

She glanced back at Ellie.

But knowing her, she would kill her instantly.

After a moment, she grinned. "Well, if that's how you want to play it?"

She turned toward the long window that stretched along the left side of the hall and leapt through it, the sound of shattering glass echoing through the building.

However, unbeknownst to her, another calamity was waiting down there.

Agrat's eyes widened as the moonlight reflected on a blade's surface.

On the ground floor of the building stood a woman in an overly revealing black kimono.

She was in a low stance, muttering something Agrat couldn't quite understand.

But there was one thing she did know.

Another of that bastard's wives was waiting for her.

Cassie closed her eyes.

All her life, she had been running and training daily to master her father's sword art and make him proud, only to find out it was all a lie.

But knowing that didn't mean she would throw away that sword art now.

No, she would make it her strength.

A strength she would use to accomplish her new goal.

To love and protect Arthur, even to her last breath.

『 Bruce Sword Art Seventh Form: Lightning Clap 』

SWISH—

That was the only sound Agrat heard as the sword sliced upward in a straight line, cutting her in two.

'What just happened? Did I—'

She couldn't finish her thought as she crashed face-first into the ground.

Cassie glanced at her mangled body, then up at Arthur and the rest, and waved with a smile.

"Cass might be more dangerous than I am now."

Arthur turned to Ellie, then back down. "Yeah, you can believe that if it makes you feel better."

She leaned on his arm. "What, don't you love me like this?"

Arthur shrugged. "Who knows?"

He gripped her waist with one hand and Isabella's with the other, then jumped off the opening Agrat had made, using wind to slow his fall.

As soon as he landed, Cassie ran over and hugged him like she hadn't just sliced someone in two.

Then, after a moment, she began crying until she was outright sobbing.

Arthur just let her cry on him with a gentle smile.

It seemed that even though the world had reset, she couldn't forget what happened with Rachel.

He softly patted her head. "Nice work, Cass."

She smiled faintly. "Yeah..."

Ellie stared at them, then pointed at the broken glass. "I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but what about the glass?"

At that moment, Arthur, Cassie, and Isabella shared the same thought.

'Shouldn't you be asking about the corpse?'

Isabella coughed lightly as if she knew they had all thought the same thing. "Don't worry, the Dean is husband's woman, so she won't hold it against us."

Ellie's expression darkened as her gaze shifted to the corpse. "Is that so?"

Arthur waved his hand as Cassie let go. "No, it's nothing like that. Just the whole god thing."

Ellie's gaze brightened again. "You should have said that sooner..." She paused, then said with a seductive smile, "Oppa..."

At first, Arthur's brain couldn't process her words, but after a few seconds, his face turned completely red.

Ellie giggled at his reaction. "Do you like when I call you that?"

Arthur suppressed the blush. "Yeah, I do."

She nodded. "Okay," she announced. "As the only one of your wives younger than you, I shall call you Oppa."

Arthur's face turned serious. "I will allow you to call me that," he said dramatically, like a king issuing a decree.

He closed one eye. "But be warned, don't bring it up when we're alone in my room."

He grinned and said no more.
