Infinite Harem System: I Grow Stronger From Every Female Lead

Chapter 116: Meeting (1)

In many ways, Arthur couldn't help but notice how balanced his team was.

It wouldn't have been an exaggeration to say his family could wipe out one of the three continents.

Anyway... none of that was important in the current flow of events.

"As I said, I got this information from a friend of mine who works in the legal jurisdiction," Elizabeth muttered as she adjusted the photo on the magic projector. "According to them, this organization is known as the Church of the Demons."

She turned her head toward Arthur and exhaled. "These guys are unlike the people who tried to take Eira back then. They are real villains. The worst kind."

Sylvia, resting her hand against her chin, asked, "So they're on the scale of a small demonic association?"

Elizabeth shook her head. "Actually, they're far worse than that. If I had to put them on such a scale, I'd say they are at least mid- to high-tier demonic association."

"That's a lot," Amelia remarked.

"Well, there's no surprise there," Nathira spoke with an unreadable expression. "If perverted nobles hear of such an organization, they'll do anything to keep it alive—money, guards, power."

Arthur intertwined his fingers and rested them beneath his chin. 'I don't think I heard about it in the game.'

Cassie was never a major character to begin with, and after the first part of the academy, she completely vanished from the story.

That meant there was a high chance they never appeared in the main storyline because they got to her before that bastard Ha-joon took a proper interest in her.

Or perhaps he knew and saw it as too much trouble to deal with. Either way, Arthur was sure it was a part of the plot that was skipped since it had nothing to do with the protagonist.

But Elizabeth had obtained a lot of information they could work with.

The Church of the Demons was a large organization with many nobles as sponsors since a lot of them enjoyed committing such forbidden acts without having their social status tarnished.

They might only operate in the Holy City, but they also had many branches and agents in other parts of the world who lured different women into the city, later serving as playthings for their sponsors and the priests.

All in all, they weren't an organization with any grand goals, just a group of sickening individuals.

'Just a bunch of cliche villains,' he thought with a quiet sigh.

Isabella glanced over at Arthur. "I already guessed this would be the case, so I invested a lot in the Church of the Demons. Since no one knows the identity of the Gold Digger, they would naturally think I'm also a corrupt noble."

"So we can use Senior Isabella's power to save Cassie?" Eira asked almost immediately.

Isabella shook her head. "No. I can arrange one or two meetings with them, but anything beyond that would become suspicious. Plus, it might cause serious lawsuits and diplomatic issues with the nobles involved."

Ellie, who had been quiet, nodded. "Yeah, Senior Isabella is right. The fallout from upsetting so many high-ranking people will be overwhelming—especially if we don't have evidence or a legal reason to attack them."

Sylvia studied Ellie for a moment, as if trying to read her. "Aren't we overthinking this?"

Everyone turned their attention to her at once.

Noticing the focus on her, she continued, "Can't we just beat the crap out of all of them? It's not that difficult to do."

She made a small sweeping motion with her hands. "It's not like she has anything on Cassie. As long as Cassie is willing to leave, there shouldn't be any problem. Once all the girls we save testify against them, the legal authorities will have to take up the case."

Ellie was the first to respond. "Wow, goddess, you're smart? I thought you were a fool for choosing Ha-joon as your chosen one."

Sylvia's face twisted. "What was that, you brat? I'm very smart, super, super smart. And I chose him because of a gacha spin."

Ellie hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Okay."

"Hey, what does okay mean?"

"If we use the meetings to contact Cassie and figure out what's wrong with her, then breaking in might actually be the best choice," Arthur muttered under his breath.

The bickering in the room stopped as Isabella traded places with Elizabeth.

"In that case, I can set up a meeting tomorrow so you can contact Cassie. If everything goes well, we can move the rescue mission to the day of the coronation. By then, most of the girls will have seen what kind of place the Holy City is without being defiled yet."

Isabella went on to explain the plan, which was fairly simple to understand.

She would have a meeting with the Church of the Demons as the assistant of the Gold Digger, and once the meeting started, Arthur would enter as a worker and try to contact Cassie, since he was 90% sure she would be brought along for extra protection.

If he could convince her to come with him, or at least say she wanted to be saved, then they would start preparing for the actual rescue mission.

Isabella turned to Arthur with gentle eyes. "Everything depends on how charming you can be."

All the girls looked at him as though they had no doubt about his charm.

Well, even to an outsider, he might look like the most charismatic man alive for having won over eight stunning women.

Still, Arthur knew completing the mission would take more than charisma.

But he had something else up his sleeve, something even his wives, except Nathira and Sylvia, didn't know about.

He was a gamer, someone who knew the plot and the characters.

If Plan A didn't work, then he would move to Plan B and keep going until Plan Z.

As the conversation went on, one figure remained silent the entire time, Eliya.

'I feel so intimidated being surrounded by Master's real wives,' she thought trying her best to blend into the background. 'Someone just kill me already.'
