"Wake up, wake up! The sun's about to rise."

Early in the morning, after a long and detailed conversation with the Dhampir, Plum, the night before, Haruya had fallen asleep feeling exhausted, planning to sleep until noon.

Haruya's sleep schedule had always been fairly regular, but today was an exception.

However, his plans were disrupted by the noisy commotion early in the morning. Someone was pushing his body and muttering something.

"If you don't get up, I'm going to bite that thing down there..."

"While I'd like to experience that, I'll have to decline. What's going on? Is it the Angels attacking Earth or something?"

'Let the Evangelion handle the enemies. After all, he wasn't some hero destined to save the world...'

Honestly, being a hero didn't come with many benefits... most heroes ended up losing something precious because of their righteous actions.

"Angels? Earth? I have no idea what you're talking about, Haru-kun. Didn't you say you wanted to conquer the Siren Queen? Now's the time to act. I don't want to travel during the day."

"Ugh, what a hassle. Let me sleep a little longer. Go play with my game console or something."

"I refuse. I don't want to, and I'm really hungry right now..." With that, Plum crawled into Haruya's thin blanket.

As the Dhampir squirmed around under the covers, Haruya felt something warm and soft brush against his chest and stomach, "What are you doing?!"

"Whaaat... there's no sweat at all...." Plum, her tongue pressed against Haruya's stomach, mumbled incoherently before licking her lips, "No bodily fluids... bummer..."

"I told you, I'm not the type to sweat much. How about saliva? Want some? Open your mouth."

"R-really?!" Excited, Plum opened her mouth, stuck out her tongue, closed her eyes, and trembled with anticipation, looking utterly desperate.

'It's a bit too intense for the morning, don't you think…'

Grabbing Plum's forehead, Haruya pushed the ravenous Dhampir aside, "I'm not just going to give away my first kiss like that."

"Wait, is Haru-kun's first kiss still intact? It doesn't matter anyway! Once you've done the deed, none of that will be an issue. Saliva, saliva!"

"Stop it. Not now. If we head out later, I'll probably sweat a bit. It's been really hot lately."

"Fine… I can wait a little longer." Sitting upright, Plum stood up and erased the presence of all her luggage, pointing at the sky where the sun had yet to rise, "Let's go! To the ends of the horizon!"

'Don't make it sound so grand. We're just going to conquer a queen who's a few hundred years old.'

After making some quick preparations, Haruya left the Werebeast embassy with Plum, leaving a note for Izuna to let her know he was going out to play.

By the time he returned, he might already be the Sirens' representative.

The Sirens' nation, Océando, was located in the Southern Seas east of the Eastern Federation. Getting there without transportation would take some time.

So, Haruya used his noble status and wealth to hire a Werebeast merchant to transport him and Plum.

"I didn't know you were a noble of Elkia, Haru-kun. You must be rich, huh?"

"Something like that. Now, I want to know more about that surefire method you mentioned for conquering the Queen. And how do we even approach her if she's in cold sleep?" Even though Haruya already knew the answer, he pretended not to, to avoid raising suspicion.

Plum replied saying, "It's simple. Even though the Queen is in cold sleep, she's still conscious! So, we can create a spell to interfere with her consciousness, her dreams, and make her fall in love with someone. It's like a love game!"

"Isn't that against the Ten Covenants? Interfering with dreams sounds like harm."

"Theoretically, yes. But since the Queen herself declared she's waiting for someone who can make her fall in love, entering her dreams is considered consensual. It doesn't count as harm."

Winning the love game would grant them 30% of Océando's underwater resources and a permanent alliance.

As a noble of Immanity, Haruya could use this opportunity to rise in power, or so he thought.

Plum continued without pause, "And the surefire method Haru-kun wants to know is…"

"Is…?"

"Using magic to force the Queen to fall in love!" revealed the Dhampir.

"Forced emotional manipulation? That should be impossible under the Ten Covena–"

But Plum quickly explained, "Normally, yes! But the Queen is waiting for someone to make her fall in love. That means she's consented to it, so we can exploit that to manipulate her emotions!"

In short, it was a clever loophole, one that was hard to argue against…

"Alright, enough about the complicated stuff. Can I have your sweat now?" Plum suddenly reminded.

Haruya looked at the sky outside and nodded, "Let's run, Plum!"

With that, he pulled Plum along and started running across the beach they had just arrived at…

After running for about thirty minutes…

*Slurp… slurp… slurp… slurp… slurp… slurp…*

"That's enough!"

After letting Plum lick his face and arms multiple times, Haruya pushed her away.

Plum touched her lips and hummed softly, "Thanks for the meal. Haru-kun's fluids are absolutely top-notch... The transport ship from Océando should be here soon. We arrived a bit early, so let's wait here."

With that, Plum climbed into a prepared box as the sun began to rise.

Sitting on a beach chair in shorts and a T-shirt, Haruya watched Plum, who was using magic to distort the sunlight inside the box.

"Plum." Calling her name, Haruya noticed she seemed a bit sluggish in the sunlight.

After a moment, she replied, "What is it?"

"Are there any beautiful girls in Océando?"

Hearing Haruya's question, Plum gave a satisfied answer from inside the box, "That's a strange question, but yes, most of them are beauties."

"Good."

Gazing at the distant horizon, Haruya waited for the ship from Océando to arrive.

He was ready to set off for the underwater city...
