Infinite Awakening: My Exp Doubles Everyday

Chapter 241: New Farming Meta Just Dropped

Xiang Yu's eyes snapped open in the spirit vein, his body trembling as he gasped for air. Even though it was just an illusion, it still felt so real. For several long moments, he just sat there, not uttering a word, his mind still processing what had just happened.

That final attack—even with his precognition ability showing him three seconds into the future, he hadn't seen it coming at all. The way everything around him had simply frozen in place, as if time itself had stopped moving, it was really unsettling.

He wondered if what he'd witnessed was actually a Void Traversing realm ability.

Letting out a long, heavy sigh, Xiang Yu forced his racing heart to calm down. It seemed that despite all his improvements, he still couldn't truly defeat her. The realization stung his pride a little, but he quickly pushed those feelings aside. For him, winning or losing didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things. Well, he definitely preferred being stronger so he wouldn't feel constantly on edge around her, but at the same time, he was genuinely glad she had managed to surprise him once again.

Although he couldn't be certain whether her power had actually reached the Void Traversing realm or not, this meant she was at least somewhat capable of defending them if a true Void realm cultivator ever attacked their sect. That knowledge brought him a little comfort.

Checking his system's internal clock, Xiang Yu realized with surprise that time had really flown by while his body was undergoing all those insane transformations. It was almost dawn already. With only about three hours remaining until sunrise, he thought to himself that he needed to start grinding experience points.

He decided not to bother with farming or alchemy this morning since it was already so late. Instead, he would take full advantage of his dramatically increased enlightenment to rapidly boost his combat technique experience.

The Divine-level enlightenment was already showing its incredible effects—he constantly felt insights flowing into his mind effortlessly, even when he wasn't actively trying to understand, his understanding of martial techniques deepened with every passing moment.

For his battle simulations, he selected the limit break Nascent Soul version of Li Yao as his opponent. They were fairly equally matched at that level, which provided the perfect challenge for intensive training. The fights were difficult enough to push his limits without being completely overwhelming.

Over the next few hours leading up to dawn, he ran countless simulations, practicing and pushing his techniques to their limits. After every simulation ended, he would pause for some time to internalize and digest everything he had learned, allowing him to grasp the fundamental concepts despite the muscle memory reset.

By dawn, he had made remarkable progress. He had almost perfected all of his elemental palm techniques—if he'd had just a bit more time, he was confident he could have achieved complete mastery. He had deliberately avoided practicing his other Sacred-grade techniques during this session since they were significantly more complex and would have consumed too much of his time.

More importantly, he already had a specific idea brewing in the back of his mind for what he planned to do with the elemental techniques once they reached perfect mastery. It was something he thought might even solve his current greatest challenge…

Rising from his meditation position, Xiang Yu walked over to his herb garden. He reminded himself that as he had planned the day before, he would be spending the first hour of each profession's practice time giving lectures at the Secondary Professions Pavilion. However, for farming, since he was already here in the spirit vein, he would just handle his usual routine and then spend the final hour of the morning teaching.

Before starting anything else, he decided to cast another growth acceleration boost. Since his Spirit Farmer profession had broken through to the sixth grade, his growth acceleration skill had received a significant upgrade. The technique now supported herbs up to the sixth grade and spirit beasts up to level four.

For herbs, sixth-grade ones would now receive a hundred percent growth boost, meaning he could harvest mature sixth-grade herbs roughly every two weeks. This timing also included the added benefit of the dramatically increased spiritual energy concentration throughout the sect—if the spirit qi levels were still at their previous levels, it would take almost double that time.

Even so, Xiang Yu wasn't particularly impressed by this improvement. Still, he reassured himself that as he continued breaking through to higher grades, the harvesting time would decrease even more dramatically.

For seventh-grade herbs, the acceleration had jumped to a two hundred percent boost. Combined with the increased qi concentration from his formation, instead of the three days he had predicted before, he could now harvest them roughly once every single day. This was a huge improvement as seventh-grade herbs were absolutely no joke. Even though they were technically in the low tier, they were at the very top of that category.

Within the sect, these were probably the mostly used herbs as the highest end fighters in the sect were around that rank (Core Formation). Well, excluding people like Li Yao and the others.

As for eighth and ninth-grade herbs, they had been boosted by an incredible four hundred and eight hundred percent respectively. At this rate, they could theoretically be harvested multiple times throughout a single day. Well, since he didn't have time to keep returning to harvest them constantly, he would just have to settle for collecting them once daily.

Xiang Yu moved over to the spirit beast enclosure and cast the acceleration skill on the animals as well. Surprisingly, some of the creatures had already broken through to the second level without him noticing, and now with the additional acceleration boost, their growth would continue increasing at an even faster pace.

He then worked diligently in the garden for the remaining time, tending to his plants and expanding the garden. When the allocated time was almost over, he gathered his materials and headed toward the Secondary Professions Pavilion to begin his first official lecture.

A/N: Yes I'll change the title later

A/N: When he says he couldn't see it with his precognition, it's not that the skill didn't work, it's just that what he saw didn't make any difference.
