Chapter 11: Meg's confrontation
Chapter 11: Meg's Confrontation
The night was thick with shadows, as if the sky itself had decided to block its light from the earth, preparing for what was to come.
In an abandoned room behind an old church, silence reigned as if time had stopped, except for the sound of three footsteps approaching cautiously.
Ron Winchester led the way, his eyes darting in every direction, his right hand gripping the holy dagger tightly. Right behind him came Sam and Dean, each carrying their weapons and unable to hide their anxiety.
Dean whispered,
"Are you sure she's here?"
Ron replies without turning around:
"The system never fails... Meg is waiting for us."
Suddenly, a deep, malicious female laugh echoes, as if coming from the very walls of the room.
"Oh, dear Ron..."
Meg said, emerging from the shadows like a black spectre, her hair wet with blood, her smile dripping with malice.
"How I've been waiting for this moment."
The smell of sulphur filled the room.
The air around her was distorted, as if her presence was corrupting reality itself.
📍 [Warning System]
> ⚠️ Level 3 enemy detected – Meg the Demon
⚔️ Proposed plan: Deadly silence – Use only hidden abilities – Do not reveal the system
Sam immediately raised his weapon and shouted:
"Stay away! This time you won't get away."
But Meg didn't pay attention to him, her eyes fixed on Ron.
"You're not like your brothers... You're not completely human, are you?"
She said as she approached slowly.
Ron didn't move, the system inside his mind began to whisper to him:
📍 [Combat System – Active]
> Status: Secret Attack
Available Ability: [Black Eye – Reveal Opponent's Intentions]
Consumption: 2% of Spiritual Energy
Ron activated the ability without moving. A faint light flashed in his eyes, and he saw her intentions as if they were words burning on her chest:
"She came to test him... not to kill them. She wants something from him and him alone."
Meg said with a voice full of sarcasm:
"Do you remember when you used to scream in your sleep? That voice that never leaves you... Do you want to know where it came from?"
She raised her hand, and a glowing demonic symbol appeared in the air.
The system suddenly screamed:
📍 [Urgent Warning]
> ⚠️ Dangerous ritual attack – attempt to breach the mental barrier
Automatic activation of the invisible shield: "Mind Shield"
The room darkened, everything was engulfed in darkness... except Ron.
He alone saw the truth:
Behind Meg... there was another entity. Greater. Older.
It was watching him through her eyes.
The entity whispered through Meg's mouth:
"You have awakened... O heir of fire."
Sam and Dean backed away, both feeling an overwhelming pressure they had never experienced before.
But Ron... smiled.
📍 [Notification System]
> Upgraded to Level 4
New ability acquired: "Flame of Detection" – Reveals entities hiding behind hosts
Ron shot flames from his palm, but they were no ordinary flames... They were blue flames, burning silently, tearing through the veil between worlds.
Meg screamed, but it wasn't just her screaming...
It was the screams of those who dwelled within her.
The wall behind her collapsed, and she fell to the ground, breathing heavily.
"What... did you do to me?"
She said as she tried to get up.
Ron approached her, his eyes burning, his voice low as if fire were speaking:
"I promise you... this is only the beginning."
He raised the dagger, but he did not stab her.
Instead, he drew a circle around her with it, expelling the entity's power from her, and Meg fell unconscious.
📍 [Mission System]
> ✔️ Confront Meg – Complete
🔒 Next Mission – Will be revealed in 12 hours
⏳ Tip: Don't tell anyone what you saw today.
Sam looked at him in astonishment:
"Ron... What...?"
But Dean interrupted him:
"Did you see what I saw? Meg was speaking in a strange voice... a second voice..."
Ron returned the dagger to its sheath and smiled slightly as he said:
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
Then he turned and left the room without looking back.
He knew... that the shadows that came with Meg had not yet left.
And that the entity... was only the beginning.
