Chapter 285: Chapter 285 : Chaos
Doflamingo tightened his strings around Law, a sadistic grin on his face. "This is where it ends, Law," he said, preparing to finish him off.
But suddenly, a strange sensation washed over the city. The toys that had once filled the streets of Dressrosa began to transform back into humans, their expressions a mixture of confusion and relief. Doflamingo's grin faltered as he looked around, stunned.
"What the hell?" he muttered, realizing that something must have happened to Sugar.
Anger boiled inside Doflamingo, but before he could react further, a figure burst out of the colosseum, drawing everyone's attention.
It was Luffy, his face set with determination. He had left the tournament after seeing his brother, Sabo, who he thought was dead for many years.
Sabo had revealed that he was alive and a member of the Revolutionary Army, and he had taken Luffy's place in the tournament to retrieve Ace's fire fruit.
"Doflamingo!" Luffy shouted, his voice echoing through the streets.
Doflamingo's eyes narrowed. "Straw Hat… ?" he growled.
Luffy landed in front of him, his fists clenched. "You're going down, Doflamingo. I won't let you hurt my friends anymore!"
With that, the battle began. Luffy launched himself at Doflamingo with a barrage of punches, each one infused with Haki.
Doflamingo countered with his string attacks, using them to block and parry Luffy's strikes.
The air was filled with the sounds of their clashing attacks, each blow sending shockwaves through the city.
Luffy pushed himself to his limits, using his Gear Second and Gear Third forms to increase his speed and power.
He landed several powerful hits on Doflamingo, but the Warlord's resilience and skill with his string fruit kept him on equal footing.
"Now I know why others make so much fuss about you," Doflamingo admitted, wiping a trickle of blood from his mouth. "But it's not enough."
This was also the time when he used his birdcage technique, in which he covered the entire island with strings all around. Cutting the very island itself.
Luffy grits his teeth and steps back, preparing for his next move. "Then I'll just have to use this!"
He activated Gear Fourth, his body inflating as he coated himself in Haki. In this form, he was a powerhouse of speed and strength, and he launched himself at Doflamingo with renewed vigour.
His attacks were faster and more powerful, forcing Doflamingo on the defensive.
"Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun!" Luffy roared, his fist crashing into Doflamingo with incredible force.
Doflamingo was sent flying, crashing into a building. But even as he stood, battered and bruised, a twisted smile spread across his face. "Impressive, Straw Hat. But I've got a trick of my own."
He raised his hands, and the ground beneath them began to change. White threads spread out from Doflamingo, enveloping the area and transforming the landscape into a deadly field of razor-sharp strings. His Devil Fruit powers had awakened.
Luffy's eyes widened as he saw the transformation. "What the…?"
Doflamingo's laughter echoed through the city. "Welcome to my world, Straw Hat. This is the true power of the String-String Fruit."
The awakened strings gave Doflamingo a significant advantage. He manipulated them with ease, creating massive structures and launching deadly attacks from all directions. Luffy struggled to keep up, his Gear Fourth form giving him the speed and power to fight back, but the overwhelming number of strings made it difficult to land a decisive blow.
Doflamingo took advantage of the terrain, using his strings to move rapidly and strike from unexpected angles. He ensnared Luffy with a web of strings, tightening them around his limbs to restrict his movement.
"You're finished, Straw Hat!" Doflamingo declared, tightening the strings further.
Luffy roared in defiance, his Haki-infused muscles straining against the bindings. With a tremendous effort, he broke free, his eyes burning with determination.
"I'm not done yet!" Luffy shouted, launching himself at Doflamingo once more.
The two clashed again, their powers shaking the very foundations of Dressrosa. Luffy's Gear Fourth attacks were relentless, but Doflamingo's control over his awakened strings allowed him to counter almost every move..

As the fierce battle between Luffy and Doflamingo raged on, the chaos spread throughout Dressrosa.
The prisoners and tournament warriors, realizing they were trapped inside the deadly Birdcage, took up arms against Doflamingo's pirates.
Their fighting spirit ignited a wave of resistance as they joined forces with the Straw Hats and their allies, each battling to stop the Birdcage's relentless advance.
Among the chaos, Pica, one of Doflamingo's top executives, transformed into a massive stone giant. His towering form loomed over the city, wreaking havoc with every step.
Buildings crumbled under his weight, and his massive stone fists smashed anything in their path.
Zoro seeing this gritted his teeth and turned to Pica, wanting to cut him.
Zoro faced Pica head-on, his determination evident in his eyes. He drew two of his swords, Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu, and launched a series of powerful attacks.
However, Pica's sheer size and the density of his stone form made it difficult for Zoro to land a decisive blow. Every strike he landed seemed to barely scratch the surface of the stone giant.
"Damn it, if only I have Shisui," Zoro muttered, his frustration growing as he dodged another massive swing from Pica.
Pica's laughter echoed through the battlefield. "Die!" Pica said with his extremely high voice making Zoro laugh even though he was losing.
Zoro gritted his teeth, refusing to back down. He knew he needed more power, but without his third sword, Shusui, his attacks lacked the force needed to take down Pica.
But that was when suddenly a voice came.
"Need a hand, Zoro?" Kirito asked, he suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Position to draw a very familiar sword on his waist.
"Unsheath," Kirito said and drew the sword, suddenly the area was covered with a powerful sword intent. Even Zoro was taken aback at this point. His eyes widened after seeing the dark blue sword slash running at Pica with so much power that it almost bent the space.
Kirito didn't hold back on that attack. Stacking up his Haki, Sage Mode, Swordsmanship and even chakra infuse power. With the help of his senses, he was able to sense Pica's real location in that huge stone statue.
ZOOSH.
The sword attack pass and Pica's entire body was diagonally cut into two.
Zoro's eyes widened in surprise. "Kirito! How did you—" He was surprised
"No time for explanations," Kirito interrupted, tossing Shusui to Zoro.
"That guy is not dead yet, I just hurt him really hard. Sorry but need to get going. Handle that guy okay? I will talk later." Kirito said as he tossed the sword to the stunned Zoro who was looking at him with an expression like he was Mihawk himself, and then Kirito ran from there. Leaving Zoro and a badly hurt Pica behind.
Pica roared in pain and fury, his massive form staggering. Zoro just shook his head, making sure that he talked with Kirito later on, he just took out Shisui and got ready to fight in his usual three-sword style.
Zoro prepared for his final attack, channelling all his strength and Haki into his blades. "Three-Sword Style Oni-giri!"

Doflamingo seized an opportunity, creating a massive string construct and launching it at Luffy. The attack struck with incredible force, sending Luffy crashing to the ground. He struggled to rise, his body battered and bruised.
"It's over, Straw Hat," Doflamingo said, walking towards him with a confident stride. "You put up a good fight, but you're out of your league."
Luffy clenched his fists, his breath ragged but his spirit unbroken. "I… I won't give up!"
But before that Luffy was out cold. His Haki was exhausted and he was unconsious. He needed 10 minutes to recover. But Doflamingo was right there. Even Law was beaten up to he point that he can't do anything.
"YO, wait. I am here. I am here.
Its my turn now.
No fair you guys started without me." Kirito ran in and shouted.
