In Naruto, the System Asks Me to Entrust Pokémon

Chapter 63: Chapter 63: What Do You Mean, Uncle?

A few days later, in the morning, inside the Pokémon House.

Ryo sat on the sofa, watching Cynthia crouched in a corner, secretly observing a Pokémon egg. His expression was one of pure bewilderment.

"I don't get it. What's so interesting about a Pokémon egg that you have to hide while watching it?"

Ever since the last time the egg moved, Cynthia had been scared by his words.

For the next two days, she had restrained herself from constantly staring at it.

But after that, she had started again. This time, instead of staring directly, she was sneaking glances at it.

Hearing Ryo's words, Cynthia shook her head. "You don't understand. As an archaeologist, we have to constantly observe Pokémon eggs."

Ryo shook his head and continued, "But aren't you forgetting something? Why aren't you training your Pokémon today?"

Previously, even though Cynthia would sneak looks at the egg, she still dedicated the morning to training her Pokémon.

Cynthia looked at Ryo and explained, "My Espeon's training is basically done. It just needs to continue following my method. Whether I'm there or not doesn't really matter."

"As for Gardevoir, there's nothing special to train—it just follows its own training regimen."

"And what about Dragonite?"

Ryo frowned. He didn't doubt what Cynthia said about Espeon—he had seen her train it several times.

The same went for Gardevoir, which had its own way of training, only needing occasional guidance from Cynthia.

But as for Dragonite, he had never seen her train it.

Cynthia rolled her eyes. "Ryo, I may be a Champion, but I'm not as amazing as you think. Dragonite is already at peak Champion-level, almost at Master-tier. How am I supposed to train it?"

She didn't know what to say anymore. If she could train Dragonite beyond this level, she wouldn't just be a Champion—she'd be in a completely different league.

Ryo froze for a moment at her words before looking at her with a puzzled expression. "Wait, so Dragonite is considered Champion-level in your world?"

Cynthia nodded, now equally confused. "Yeah, of course. You didn't know?"

Ryo's mouth twitched. If I knew, why would I even ask?

"So that means in the Naruto world, Super Kage-level is about the same as Master-tier in the Pokémon world…"

Ryo rubbed his chin, deep in thought.

He had always assumed that Level 100 was the threshold for Champion-level, and that anything above that was Master-tier.

Cynthia, seeing his expression, tilted her head curiously. "What's wrong, Ryo?"

"Uh, Cynthia, in your world, you said Tier 3 Legendary Pokémon are Level 100 to 105. What about Tier 2 Legendaries?"

Cynthia glanced at him in confusion. Why doesn't he know this? Isn't this common knowledge?

But after thinking about it for a moment, she answered, "Tier 3 Legendaries are Level 100 to 105, while Tier 2 Legendaries range from Level 105 to 110. Beyond Level 110, they are considered Tier 1 Legendaries—the ones with divine authority, like true godly Pokémon. But this is mostly speculation. No one can say for sure what a true Tier 1 Legendary's level is."

Ryo nodded, finally relaxing.

That makes sense.

In the Naruto world, even among Six Paths-level beings, there were major power differences. The gap between weaker and stronger members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan was huge.

That was probably similar to the difference between Tier 3 and Tier 2 Legendaries.

And Tier 1 Legendaries… they were likely on the level of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki or the other Ōtsutsuki clan members from beyond the stars.

"Boss Ryo! Boss Ryo, I'm here! I've brought you some business!"

Suddenly, a voice called out from outside.

Ryo and Cynthia both looked toward the entrance.

Soon, a familiar figure appeared—it was Old Feng, the first ordinary person who had successfully bonded with a Pokémon here.

His face was beaming with an ingratiating smile as he walked inside.

Seeing this, Ryo smiled as well. "Old Feng, looking at your glowing complexion, you must've made a lot of money recently."

Ryo still welcomed Old Feng warmly.

However, he did find it a bit disappointing that in the past few days, Old Feng hadn't brought anyone else to catch a Pokémon.

He was starting to wonder if this guy was secretly raising his Pokémon in private, not wanting others to know.

Old Feng scratched the back of his head and laughed. "Boss Ryo, you flatter me. Just call me Old Feng, or use my real name—Feng Tang."

Ryo blinked in surprise.

Feng… Tang?

For a moment, he didn't know what to say.

Seeing his reaction, Old Feng grinned. "What, do you like my name?"

Ryo coughed awkwardly before quickly changing the subject. "So, Old Feng, you mentioned bringing a customer. Where are they?"

"Right outside, Boss Ryo. I'll call him in now."

With that, Old Feng walked out.

Ryo sighed inwardly.

Yep, just as I suspected. Old Feng probably kept quiet about Pokémon so he could secretly train his own. That explains why he hasn't brought anyone else here until now.

It gave him a bit of a headache.

If Old Feng wasn't willing to spread the word, then Ryo couldn't do much about it.

What am I supposed to do? Threaten him with a knife and force him to advertise Pokémon?

He shook his head again. Forget it. I'll ask him later. Maybe there's another reason for this.

"Get in here already! Quit hesitating! Your old man isn't a coward, so why are you acting so timid?"

Old Feng's scolding voice echoed from outside.

Ryo looked over curiously.

And the moment he saw the "customer," the corners of his mouth twitched violently.

Behind Old Feng stood a towering man over two meters tall, his body packed with muscles.

But despite his intimidating build, the man's expression was timid. He was nervously hiding behind Old Feng, his posture full of hesitation.

"Boss Ryo, this is my son, Feng Tian. You can just call him Little Feng."

Then, Old Feng raised his leg and gave the big guy a little kick. "What are you waiting for? Greet him! Call him Uncle Ryo!"

Feng Tian gulped nervously, then hesitantly looked at Ryo.

"Uh… U-Uncle Ryo…"

"Pffft—!"

Before Ryo could say anything, Cynthia suddenly burst into laughter.

The group immediately turned to look at her.

Cynthia, realizing all eyes were on her, blushed in embarrassment. "Uh… sorry! Please, continue."
