Chapter 17: Chapter 16
Chapter 16
Swoosh!
Kuro ran among the trees as he searched for the Uchiha.
Soon, he found a group of 4 Uchiha sitting and chatting among themselves. The scrolls were laid beside the one with the biggest build. It seems they are not expecting anyone dumb enough to target them other than the other Uchiha teams.
Kuro grinned as he made a beeline toward the scrolls. He makes sure to move fast enough so his face is not seen but slow enough for the Uchina to see the Hyuga clothing.
( ˶°ㅁ°) !!
The Uchiha couldn't reach in time and could only watch their nemesis steal their hard earned scrolls from right under their noses.
"Stupid red-eyed apes couldn't even protect their scrolls. I would have done way better since my Byakugan is superior." Kuro stated as he left his parting 'gift'.
The Uchiha, hearing the taunt, froze for a split second before their anger flared.
⁽⁽(੭ꐦ •̀Д•́ )੭*⁾⁾
One of them, a Uchiha with a more refined look, stood up quickly, his hand instinctively reaching for his kunai, his eyes turning bloodshot as he saw the disappearing Hyuga.
He immediately gave chase and his teammate followed. After a few minutes, they came to a stop when they couldn't see or sense the Hyuga anymore. Just then, they heard the furious shout of the leader of the Uchiha kids that attended the academy.
"HYUGA!! YOU DARE!!!"
The 4 turn to each other before heading toward the shout location.
…
After Kuro stole the scrolls from the 4 and left his remark, he activated Shadow Step and hit a few more Uchiha groups.
When he left after hitting the last group consisting of 7 Uchiha, he heard the shout and smiled.
'Step 1 complete. Time for step 2.' Kuro smiled as he hid and changed his clothes to look more like the Aburame clan kids.
Following the same process as before, he hit the Akimichi, Inuzuka, and the Yamanaka.
Kuro was in his element now, moving from clan to clan like a shadow, sowing chaos with the stealth of a ghost.
At this point, the forest was no longer silent as shout of anger and malice laced the air.
After Kuro completed his final hit, he found a high spot atop a large tree to enjoy the show. He has changed back to his original clothes.
From his perch high in the tree, Kuro surveyed the growing chaos below with a sense of satisfaction.
The Uchiha, already driven by their pride, had fallen into a frenzy—every encounter with the Hyuga escalating into a fight, each confrontation laced with animosity.
Down below, the Hyuga were forced into defensive mode, their attempt to locate Kuro disrupted by the Uchiha's rage.
The Hyuga weren't ones to take hits and do nothing. Kuro could see the weird eyed kids fighting back with their gentle fist style.
The other clans also join in the chaos as they search for the one responsible for taking their scrolls and insulting them as he left.
'Being young and wild, these kids. Did they not think and find the whole situation suspicious?' Kuro thought.
'This is beautiful.' Kuro's grin as he watched the madness unfold, the cacophony of battle below like a symphony of chaos. The Uchiha, Hyuga, Akimichi, Inuzuka, and Yamanaka were all on edge, their minds clouded by rage.
Kuro rested against the tree, his eyes following the ebb and flow of the clashes, savoring every moment. "Step 2 complete. Time for step 3, my favorite," he muttered, leaning forward slightly. "Sit back, relax, and watch them tear each other apart."
The fight started to escalate as the kids lost their mind in their rage.
Even those that did not want to be a part of the chaos was drag into the mess
The ANBU that were tasked with the kids' safety could only look at each other and sigh as they prepared to intervene when necessary.
…
Hiruzen was watching everything with sweat running down his forehead and back.
"SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!" He started cursing as he lost all his bearing as a Hokage. He couldn't fathom the aftermath of this tournament since it could escalate the already existing feuds between the major clans and create new feuds between clans that were otherwise on good terms with each other.
(皿´#)
"DAMN!" Hiruzen smashed the table to oblivion just thinking about it. "It seems I cannot leave this troublemaker in the academy any longer. I don't know what other shit he would do. In all my years, this is the first time a member of the Nara clan gave me this much headache."
"SHIMIZU!" Hiruzen bellowed and an ANBU appeared.
"Yes Lord Third?"
"GO AND BRING ME THAT KURO RIGHT NOW!"
The ANBU had seen the Third Hokage furious before, but never like this. The usually calm and measured leader was on the edge, pushed to his breaking point by the havoc caused by one single troublemaker—Kuro.
"Understood, Lord Third." Without wasting another moment, he disappeared in a swirl of smoke, vanishing from the Hokage's tent.
…
Kuro was enjoying the show from atop the tree. Just then, he felt a presence on the other tree.
He turned his head and saw an ANBU looking at him with cold eyes.
"Hello?" Kuro waves his hand in greeting. "Are you also here to enjoy the show?"
"No." The ANBU replied. "I am here because the Hokage summoned you for this ridiculous chaos."
Kuro started to sweat when he heard the ANBU. Looking at those cold eyes, he chose to comply.
Kuro went down the tree and started following the ANBU.
When they arrived at the Hokage's tent, Kuro was met with the sight of a clearly enraged Hiruzen, his usually composed face twisted with frustration.
"Lord Third, it is not what you think. I'm just trying to liven things up." Kuro started sweating more as he saw the enraged Hiruzen.
Hiruzen's glare could melt steel as he stood behind his broken desk, fists clenched tightly.
Kuro's shoulders slumped, his usual mischievous grin completely gone. He felt small under the Hokage's intense gaze, realizing just how much trouble he had caused. "I didn't mean to make everyone upset, Lord Third," Kuro mumbled, his voice barely a whisper. "I just wanted to win and make things fun... I didn't think it would turn into a big mess."
Hiruzen sighed deeply, his stern expression softening just a little. "Kuro," he said, his voice more tired than angry now. "You're only five, but you're old enough to understand that actions have consequences. You can't just throw things around and expect everything to go well afterward, especially involving the major clans. You need to think carefully about what you do, not just have fun without thinking of others."
Kuro nodded quietly, staring at his shoes. However, he still did not regret the stunt he pulled. It was either this chaos or being chased down by the Hyuga for the rest of the tournament.
"I... I know, Lord Third," Kuro mumbled. "But if I hadn't done something, the Hyuga would've been all over me, and I don't think I could've made it through the whole tournament without getting cornered by them."
"And whose fault is it?" Hiruzen sighed. "You still have much to learn, Kuro. Just remember: your actions affect more than just you."
Kuro nodded. Maybe next time, he wouldn't make such a big mess. "Understood. I would not make a mess this big next time."
Hiruzen almost lost it when he heard Kuro. "NEXT TIME!?"
(ノ°益°)ノ
Kuro shrank when he heard the shout. "No, no! There won't be a next time! I promise!"
Hiruzen looked at Kuro and finally affirmed that keeping Kuro within the academy is not a good idea.
"After this tournament, you would no longer be attending the academy. I will get someone to teach you."
Kuro looks at Hiruzen, confused at the unexpected bombshell. 'What?'
"You will find out about the details later. Now, be a good boy and find a place to rest. With the amount of scrolls you have, you have already won the tournament. Now leave and let me rest."
Kuro complied and went outside the tent and up a tree. He lay his abc against the bark and closed his eyes.
"Damn. I wish I could continue watching the chaos."
