Fortunately, this Dragon Girl had fled swiftly; otherwise, who knows what might have transpired at the Alchemy Commission.

Sensing something amiss, Welt Yang cautiously asked, "We were summoned by the General as reinforcements. Could you tell us where the others went?"

"Quick...quickly escape... This guy is...is from the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus," whispered the dying cloud knight seated on the ground.

The foxfolk medic turned with visible dissatisfaction. "Too talkative! If I heal you, you'll become one of us too, so...you would help capture the Dragon Girl, wouldn't you?"

To Bochang's ears, the foxfolk medic's tone seemed borderline deranged. Are all members of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus such lunatics? If so, how did they manage to infiltrate the Alchemy Commission for so long without being discovered?

Numerous questions swirled through Bochang's mind.

Just as the foxfolk medic finished speaking, the dying cloud knight abruptly stood up...

Suddenly, the dying Cloud Knight sitting on the ground sprang up... grotesque branches began to grow from his body, intertwining with his armor as flesh and metal fused together.

Yellow gingko leaves emerged all over him, barely preserving his humanoid shape.

Bochang could hardly recognize this figure as the same Cloud Knight from before.

The foxfolk medic took half a step back.

The white glow dissipated.

The Cloud Knight crumpled heavily onto the ground, completely unaware that all symptoms of being Mara-Struck had vanished from his body. Convinced he had died, he felt no change.

Confused by his accusation, a flash of ferocity crossed the foxfolk healer's eyes. She promptly retreated and ordered the surrounding Mara-stricken soldiers and various fearsome warbeasts to attack.

However, in the next instant, Bochang's fist loomed before her face.

Her pupils trembled with sudden fear that surged within her heart. Just as she tried to dodge, the solid punch landed squarely on her chest. Unable to withstand such immense force, her body shattered, sending chunks of flesh flying in all directions.

The scene was brutally bloody.

It was confirmed—she indeed was a bad woman. Otherwise, Bochang's punch wouldn't have been so devastatingly powerful.
