In Fairy Tail, starts with a Super Mega Gengar

Chapter 85: Chapter 85: Kyoka's Lesson

Kyoka, having already inhaled a large amount of Curse Particles, found herself in a hopeless situation, her life ending abruptly in rage.

The last image in her mind was Gaal's wicked grin as he held Seilah and shook her.

Damn humans!!!

---

Tartaros Headquarters.

Hell's Core Laboratory.

Inside the room.

The Guild Master of Tartaros, Mard Geer, looked indifferent as he held the book of END, watching over Hell's Core.

Tempester was the first to coalesce and emerge, his voice deep: "Mard Geer-sama."

His aura was significantly weakened.

Mard Geer nodded, speaking softly: "So, it seems... you failed?"

Tempester replied with a sullen voice: "Yes, my apologies, Mard Geer-sama. That guy is quite troublesome. Even without Space Magic, we couldn't take him down immediately. Instead, we fell into his trap."

Had they not been careless, absorbing a large amount of energy from the ground, they wouldn't have ended up waiting for death.

Azuma managed to react and shout, but it was already too late.

Mard Geer frowned slightly but simply nodded without further comment, continuing to wait.

Shortly after, Seilah also materialized, slowly stepping forward and respectfully addressing:

"Mard Geer-sama."

Having lost her body, her aura was significantly weaker as well.

Mard Geer nodded, continuing to wait patiently.

Not long after, Kyoka's figure coalesced, and she involuntarily roared with anger: "Damn humans?!"

Only to realize she had returned to headquarters.

Sensing the aura around her, she hurriedly suppressed her rage, addressing Mard Geer: "Lord Mard Geer."

Mard Geer inquired with curiosity: "What's the matter, Kyoka?"

Tempester and Seilah also looked on with curiosity.

By their timing, the gap between their deaths was less than a minute.

What exactly did that human do to infuriate Kyoka to such a degree? Had he humiliated her?

Upon hearing Mard Geer's inquiry, Kyoka was filled with anger but held back, thinking it too shameful to reveal.

Damn humans!

Kyoka gritted her teeth, voicing her anger: "Lord Mard Geer, I believe we should go all out to deal with this human. Otherwise, if left unchecked, he will become a significant threat to us."

A pause filled the air around them.

In the room, the floor and walls suddenly sprouted countless thorny vines, immediately binding Kyoka.

Kyoka quickly regained her senses and exclaimed: "Lord Mard Geer, I am not... ahhhhh!!!"

Bound in the shape of a star by the green thorny vines, which continuously tightened, Kyoka did not dare resist in her newly reincarnated form.

Tempester and Seilah simply bowed their heads, and Mard Geer's face remained expressionless, his voice carrying no hint of emotion: "Failure is acceptable. But... I despise incidents outside of my plans. Do not try to make me delay my plans for some reason. Understood?"

Kyoka struggled as she responded: "Un...understood."

Regaining full clarity after losing her head to anger, Kyoka understood that Lord Mard Geer detested anyone giving him orders.

Seeing Tempester and Seilah bowing their head sufficed to comprehend the critical nature of this taboo, even daring not plead for mercy.

Mard Geer said nothing further; the vines kept tightening, yet Kyoka dared not resist...

---

Outside Nova City.

In the eastern forest.

Within the giant birdcage of towering trees, the encirclement formed by the ocean of trees slowly shrank toward the center of the battlefield.

Enveloped in a purple miasma at the center, the surrounding trees withered gradually, yet Gaal remained unaffected, a barrier keeping the miasma at bay.

Capturing Seilah by the ankle and storing her into a space, Gaal was not in a rush as he bent down to grab Kyoka's ankle, storing her within the same space.

This sight caused Azuma, watching from afar in the sea of trees, to twitch his lips, while Franmalth nearby screamed in horror: "Damn! Cursed humans! To even take the bodies of Demons! No way! We can't allow him to have them!"

Franmalth's insistence on not returning alive to preserve strength sprang from fear. However, with the current situation, fear of the human conducting research on demon corpses...

Damn it! Prevent him from obtaining this precious demon body; such disgrace, allowing humans to study it wouldn't allow him to roam freely in the World later!

No! He must die now!

Franmalth turned to Azuma: "When I die, destroy my body immediately!"

With resolve, he lifted his claw, gritting his teeth.

Thump.

Azuma flinched in shock as Franmalth jabbed his claw into his eyeball, the size of his head, and then his aura dissipated, the corpse collapsing.

Azuma forced himself to ignore the strange red, yellow, and green substance flowing from Franmalth's head.

With a wave, Franmalth's corpse became encased in branches, soaring to a distant spot.

Boom!

An enormous fireball explosion.

Franmalth's body was utterly destroyed.

Having tucked away the two demon corpses, Gaal stood amidst the purple Curse Particles, watching Azuma control the sea of trees as they neared continuously.

Azuma's sea of trees compressed the birdcage encompassing over half of the forest, shrinking it to a space merely a hundred meters in radius centered around Gaal.

Azuma finally stopped, turning to Gaal: "I must say, you are the smartest and most difficult Mage I've ever encountered."

Gaal chuckled, his tone leisurely: "Really? I'm flattered."

Azuma shook his head with a complex expression: "Two members from Grimoire Heart, four members from Tartaros. Together, this power could easily overwhelm most S-Class Mages, yet here we've suffered significant losses. Hence, I say you are the smartest Mage I've encountered. Of course, if you dislike the word 'smart,' you can interpret it as 'cunning.'"

Gaal's eyes lit up, nodding with approval: "Now that's more like it."

Azuma's brow arched; did he think that was a compliment?

Azuma murmured on: "Facing us, you immediately used Illusion Magic to transform into a fake Angel, causing doubt and fear among Tartaros' demons about the Space Seal array. Your subsequent shout not only startled the wary demons but used them as pawns, breaking up our cooperation.

Afterward, in a surprise attack, you terrified one demon, made the others overly cautious, and rendered them unable to exert their full strength, culminating in their eventual demise. I must say, your talents and mind truly invoke envy. With just an Illusion Magic, you toyed the most powerful and secretive Dark Guild core members on the Ishgar Continent. However, this is where it ends. My Tower Burst has already proven: without Space Magic, if you're hit, you can't escape. Am I right?"

As he spoke, Azuma stopped concealing, the foliage of the sea of trees trembling violently.

After long suppression, the Magic Power energy finally ceased to be hidden, unabashedly exuding an aura.

Azuma's face remained calm: "Now...where can you flee? Did you really think I was just praising you this whole time? Although that mysterious item blocked the harm earlier, it's already shattered, right? I believe it was a time-based item? Transferring the damage to a future moment, which is why there was a massive explosion around your body after you regenerated.

It was merely not powerful enough the first time. But now, the Magic Power gathered underground, though not comparable to when at Rock Mountain Range, is compressed in the earth below our feet within several miles. The power to instantly destroy a city—is that sufficient to destroy you?"

After listening, Gaal scratched his head, looking up toward the giant tree birdcage ceiling: "Should be sufficient. But... who told you I only have one piece of equipment?"

He said as he pulled a Time Pocket Watch from his pocket, wearing it before showing the Time Bracelet on his wrist, and even took out three Time Pendants, wearing them all, then touched his chin: "Perhaps that's still not enough."

It seemed he was considering whether so much equipment would withstand that kind of explosion.

Azuma was incredulous, and Gaal's actions left him slightly bemused.

Azuma, previously composed, now found himself at a loss, muttering in a low voice: "Useless! Just die now!"

Azuma hesitated no more, triggering the massive Magic Power beneath the earth.

Where earlier he'd awaited, now he feared truly failing to handle Gaal.

Though the brat claimed it wouldn't hold.

Azuma was aware that the guy's words could only be trusted at the punctuation level; trusting even one word was a problem for his head.

In a flash, the ground sharply illuminated.

Azuma's gaze locked on Gaal as surrounding branches writhed like flexible tendrils, lunging at Gaal to bind his body.

Azuma then transported himself to a location scores of miles away outside the forest, gazing toward the enormous birdcage.

At the center of the battlefield.

The moment Azuma vacated the area, Gengar abruptly emerged from Gaal's shadow, opening its enormous mouth to swallow both Gaal and the entwining branches into its Alternate Dimension.

Gengar then vanished into the shadows of the trees, ferrying Gaal at a speed not inferior to Azuma's traversal.

Meanwhile, in Nova City, its citizens and mages were suddenly gripped by inexplicable panic. That giant birdcage impossibly appearing outside the city, along with the ensuing explosions, had long drawn the gaze of countless distant onlookers.

When a flash of white light appeared, the primal fear consumed the crowd instantaneously, leaving everyone paralyzed, collapsing uncontrollably to the ground.

Boom—!!!

A newborn sun rose in the forest.

The earth... fractured.

---

Ishgar Continent.

The Magic Council suddenly resonated with ear-piercing alarms!

"What happened?"

"Again?!"

"Where is it this time?!!"
