As Akira savored the taste of the Underworld Princess, he soon heard the system notification.
[Ding!~]
[Congratulations, Host, for completing the check-in mission!]
[Check-in Level: Silver.]
[Check-in Type: Stage Event Check-in.]
[Check-in Event: Stealing the Fiancée (Stage 3).]
[Congratulations, Host, for obtaining the reward: Balance Breaker - Giant Robot Mode.]
[Balance Breaker - Giant Robot Mode: In the original storyline, Issei Hyoudou temporarily merged with the Red Dragon Emperor, transforming into a giant hundreds of meters tall. The Giant Robot Mode has a similar effect. By absorbing the surrounding natural energy, the host can transform into a massive robot with immense destructive power. While the energy level does not ascend to the next tier, it maximizes destructive and defensive capabilities, allowing the host to overcome stronger opponents.]
[Note: Upon obtaining Giant Robot Mode, the Boosted Gear automatically awakens the "Dragon Steel Chariot" mode, significantly enhancing attack and defense for a short period.]
Even after hearing the system notification, Akira had no time to think. His mind was occupied with one thought: "High-class demons are truly high-class demons. Their stamina and physical prowess are astonishing."
The next morning.
Seekvaira woke up, feeling Akira still intimately connected to her. She felt a moment of confusion. However, after just a few glances at Akira and sensing his movements within her, all her doubts vanished. She actively embraced him.
Seekvaira's actions roused Akira from his sleep. The two locked eyes.
"Seekvaira, I need to take a day off," Akira said.
"..."
"Okay."
Seekvaira, of course, understood what Akira meant. She lowered her head, blushing, and nodded shyly.
With their agreement, the second round began.
To defeat Seekvaira, Akira had to give it his all. After all, high-class demons were truly formidable. Although he could defeat them, his own strength was still that of a mid-class demon. While his attributes were exceptional among mid-class demons, they weren't enough to challenge higher tiers. Thus, Akira resorted to special measures.
Can't handle Seekvaira without using sacred gears? Then use them! Not just one, but two!
Boosted Gear to amplify himself!
Divine Dividing to weaken his opponent!
Giant Robot Mode to enhance defense and destructive power!
"Gyarados, use Hydro Pump on Cloyster!"
Kuoh Academy.
Rias and Sona were welcoming new guests.
"The other two mid-class demons in Kuoh Town are busy today, so they've taken the day off," Rias said. "If you have any matters, you can tell me directly, and I'll relay them."
Rias crossed her legs, her gaze fixed on the two girls in white robes standing before her. She sensed an ominous aura emanating from them.
"Alright, we'll leave it to you, Rias Gremory," one of the girls said.
The two removed their hoods, revealing their faces. They were beautiful girls dressed in the Church's specialized combat attire—one with blue hair, the other with orange hair. The blue-haired girl had a cold demeanor, while the orange-haired one radiated warmth, matching their hair colors perfectly. The black combat suits, similar to bodysuits, clung tightly to their figures, making their curves evident even under the white robes.
"Hello, mid-class demons overseeing Kuoh Town," the orange-haired girl introduced herself. "I'm Irina, and this is Xenovia. We've come to Kuoh Town to retrieve the holy swords stolen by the fallen angels. Before we begin our mission, we wanted to inform you to avoid unnecessary conflicts with demons."
"That's reasonable," Rias replied. "But are just the two of you enough to retrieve the holy swords? The fallen angels who stole them must be at least high-class, possibly even Maou-level."
Xenovia, the blue-haired girl, narrowed her eyes. "Whether we can complete the mission or not is none of your concern. We've fulfilled our duty by informing you. Let's go, Irina."
"Wait for me, Xenovia!" Irina called out, quickly following her companion.
"Well, that's that. We'll be on our way. We hope you mid-class demons won't interfere with our mission. It's better for everyone. Bye!" Irina waved as they left.
Behind Rias, a golden-haired girl named Kiba Yumi had been silently listening. Her expression darkened upon hearing the word "holy sword."
"Yumi, I won't allow you to do anything reckless," Rias said firmly.
Since being lectured by Grayfia, Rias had changed somewhat.
Kiba Yumi bit her lip, seemingly making a decision. "Reckless actions? Are you saying I should just ignore the holy swords? Destroying them to avenge my comrades isn't reckless."
With that, Kiba Yumi turned to leave.
"Stop, Yumi!" Rias called out. "I'm not telling you to give up. I just don't want you to throw your life away. As long as you're by my side, unless someone wants to start a war, your safety is guaranteed. But if you become a stray demon, anyone could kill you without consequence!"
"I've already made my peace with that," Kiba Yumi replied in a low voice.
Seeing this, Rias sighed. "It seems I really can't stop you, can I?"
Had she been too lenient? Why were all her servants so headstrong? Koneko had transferred, Yumi seemed ready to become a stray demon, and if this continued, would Akeno leave too? If things kept going this way, she'd have nothing left!
Realizing this, Rias made a decision different from the original storyline.
"Fine, Yumi. If I can't stop you, then go. But you must promise to return to me alive. Remember, if you encounter trouble, use the Gremory name. It will make others think twice. And if you face something you can't handle, seek Akira's help. Tell him I sent you."
Rias felt a pang of regret. Asking Akira for help would undoubtedly come at a high cost.
"Rias…" Kiba Yumi's eyes filled with tears as she knelt on the ground.
Thud!
She kowtowed deeply. "Rias, no matter whether I succeed or not, I will return to you. You will always be my 'King,' and I… am an unworthy knight."
