Immortality Cultivation: I Can increase My Stats Using Clansmen's Qi-Blood

Chapter 765: The Mysterious Person's Identity?

Luo Chen swung his sword amidst the swarm of bats, each swing accompanied by the sound of wind and thunder, knocking down bat after bat.

His movements were agile and powerful, and even though sweat drenched his clothes, there wasn't a hint of retreat in his eyes.

"Luo Chen, watch your left side!" Qing Shuang's voice rang out amidst the chaos, as she cast spells while staying alert to the surroundings.

Luo Chen quickly turned, slicing through a bat attempting a sneak attack from behind.

He panted but maintained his rhythm in the battle, "Thanks, Qing Shuang! You and Hong Ling should be careful too."

Not far away, Hong Ling's long whip danced like a spirit snake, accurately wrapping around each bat with every swing and then hurling it toward the rocky walls.

Her movements were elegant yet lethal, but fatigue was evident on her face.

"These bats seem endless, can we really hold out until the end?" Hong Ling asked during a momentary pause in the fight.

"We must persevere!" Qing Shuang answered resolutely, her spells exploding within the bats, coating their wings with frost and temporarily grounding them.

Luo Chen weaved through the bats, his swordsmanship growing faster, as if he had become one with the sword.

He knew well that only through relentless attacks could he create opportunities for Qing Shuang and Hong Ling.

Finally, through the trio's joint efforts, the bats began to decrease in number.

The collapse of the nest had robbed them of refuge, while Luo Chen's sword and the spells of Qing Shuang and Hong Ling left them with no place to hide.

"Look, the nest is about to collapse completely!" Hong Ling shouted excitedly, pointing at the cave ahead.

Luo Chen and Qing Shuang saw hope too, renewing their attacks on the remaining bats with vigor.

Ultimately, with a tremendous rumbling sound, the bat's nest completely collapsed, and the swarm vanished.

The trio gasped for air, leaning on each other for support to steady themselves.

They surveyed the surroundings, only relaxing once they were sure no threats were left.

"We did it." Luo Chen's voice carried a trace of exhaustion, but was filled more with satisfaction.

"Yes, we did it." Qing Shuang replied with a smile, her eyes shining with trust and pride in her companions.

Hong Ling let out a long sigh of relief, glancing around before saying, "We should rest here for a while, recover our strength. The dangers in the Nine Netherlands are far from over."

Luo Chen nodded, and they found a relatively clean spot to sit and begin recovering their energy.

In the Nine Netherlands, every battle could be a fight for survival; they needed to remain at their best at all times.

After a brief rest, Luo Chen stood up, dusting off his clothes, "Let's move on, we still have a long way to go."

Qing Shuang and Hong Ling stood up as well, knowing the road ahead was filled with unknowns and danger, but also understanding that only by pressing forward could they find the treasure they sought.

They continued deeper into the Nine Netherlands, following the map's guidance.

As they ventured further, the surroundings grew increasingly strange.

The air was thick with an unsettling presence, as if something was watching them from the shadows.

"Do you feel it, like something is following us?" Hong Ling suddenly stopped, warily scanning the area.

Luo Chen and Qing Shuang also halted, listening intently for any unusual noises.

"Indeed, something is tracking us," Luo Chen muttered, gripping his sword hilt tightly, ready to face any threat that might emerge.

The three of them stood back to back in a circle, eyes alertly scanning the area.

In the darkness, something seemed to be slowly moving, yet it was hard to pinpoint its exact form.

"Whatever it is, we can't let it disrupt our mission," Qing Shuang said determinedly.

Luo Chen nodded, taking a deep breath before shouting, "Whoever you are, if you wish to stop us, then show yourself!"

His voice echoed through the expansive Nine Netherlands, but the only response was deathly silence.

"Maybe it's just testing us," Hong Ling speculated.

"Regardless, we can't stay here too long," Luo Chen said, taking the lead and moving forward again.

Qing Shuang and Hong Ling followed closely behind, maintaining high alertness but trying to stay relaxed to avoid wasting too much energy from tension.

And so they continued for quite a while, until they noticed a strange glow ahead.

The glow was not glaring but rather gave off a warm feeling.

"What is that?" Qing Shuang asked curiously.

"Looks like some sort of light source," Luo Chen replied, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

Carefully, they approached the glow, and as they got closer, they discovered it was coming from a small cave.

The entrance of the cave was covered with strange plants that emitted a gentle radiance.

"I've never seen plants like these," Qing Shuang marveled, gently touching a leaf, which unexpectedly emitted a melodious sound.

"This place seems quite unusual," Luo Chen remarked, his instincts telling him this place might hold important clues.

They decided to enter the cave to investigate.

Inside, the cave was more spacious than they had imagined, with the glowing plants spread throughout, bathing the space in soft light.

"Look over there!" Hong Ling pointed to the depths of the cave, where a massive stone sat, seemingly engraved with ancient symbols.
