Consideration
It was only when he became an Elder there that he learned being a teacher is nothing but a pain in the ass. Because the reward was distributed differently depending on the ranks such as Outer and Inner Disciple, it was bound for people to be complacent of their status, which in turn, creates a monster. And to teach such a monster, the only right way is to beat them to submission, and that's exactly what he did.
Honestly, it was quite enjoyable for the past few years but then became stale quickly as it only invites more trouble down the line, so he eventually decided to leave the Sect and journey on his own.
So when it comes to the teaching profession, he can proudly assert that he's quite 'skilled' at it. He would be lying to say he's not interested in such a job, especially when he could be observing the protagonist and his friends up close. It will also give him a good reason to keep watch of them.
As a matter of fact, although he claims he couldn't care less what the butterfly effect might bring up as a result of his interference with the story, he worries about it a lot when he had the time to think about it. But if he is around the protagonist when shit hits the fan, he can take action immediately before it gets any worse. Feeling responsible is one of the weaknesses of humanity—it is the price he willingly takes in order to preserve his humanity.
As such, he did the same hand seals he did before to send the kid away, but this time it was for himself. A few seconds later, his figure mysteriously vanished from the park.
...
A few minutes ago...
Toshinori, the number 1 hero that civilians always praised to high heaven for his heroic deeds, also goes by the hero name All might, but right now, he is currently in a pinch. He had never thought this day would ever come, but alas, it did when he least expected.
Ever since Zhang Yu lives on his own, he had thought he would finally have a once in a long time to be alone and enjoy his time. He's also a man and a single one at that. But out of nowhere, the boy suddenly appeared in the living room while he was busy researching that particular topic. Of all the people, why was it the boy? And why this particular time?
The boy has had a strange expression on his face ever since then. Toshinori wishes to bury himself deep in a hole or something, to run away from the embarrassment, but a symbol of Peace known no retreat! He shall be honest and speak the truth—that is the only way to get out of this awkward situation! But just as he opened his mouth and was about to resolve the situation, a familiar figure suddenly appeared in the living room exactly as the boy did without a sound.
"..."
It was an awkward silence for a moment. Zhang Yu wonder why the air feels strange, so he looked at the two but neither seems that eager to say anything. Did he send the kid at the wrong possibly time? He couldn't help but reach that conclusion. There were times his emergency teleportation end up making the situation awkward, it wasn't just a one-time thing, after all, no one knows when the danger is coming so it isn't like they were prepared for it.
"Sorry about that, Toshinori."
"Cough, it's fine. But may I know why you did that? I don't even know you had such powers, you must also be curious too right, kid?"
"Y-Yeah!" Since Allmight didn't speak of the accident, he will also refrain from doing so.
"It was a false alarm. Long story short, I sensed a Pro Hero chasing after a villain, and they were heading toward the park so just to err on the caution side, I have to send the kid away. Though, I learned later on that it was unnecessary as the villain wasn't much of a threat," he sighed as he flop himself onto the sofa.
"Who's the Pro Hero?!" Of course, the young Midoriya couldn't help but inquire about that. He has always been a Hero Otaku, he even keeps a whole book with all of their information written on it. He immediately forgets the whole accident to the back of his mind.
"It's Mount Lady."
"Oh, it's the newly debut Pro Hero! Her quirk is called Gigantification, and she will grow as big as a giant once she uses her quirk. Most of her attacks were physical, either from a head butt or a kick. Though it may look simple, she's a giant so it should pack a punch just as much as her height. But as a result of her giant size, her movement also slowed down quite a bit in comparison to her normal size," then he continues speaking of all the little information he had heard about her like a true Hero Otaku he is. When it comes to Hero, he really knows a lot. 'Speaking of which, if I ever need any information on Hero, I should just ask him,' so Zhang Yu thought.
"What about the villain? Did she catch them?" Toshinori suddenly asked while the kid was in his own world. As expected of a number 1 Pro Hero, he's concerned about the villain escaping since the latter could bring more harm to the civilian if left alone. "He almost got away, but since I was there, I helped her a bit by knocking the villain unconscious," Zhang Yu casually replied as he turned his head to the kid direction, and it appears the latter is still mumbling something under his breath with a serious expression on his face, so perhaps now is a good time.
With a casual wave of his hand, a small bit of his Qi reserve disappeared upon use as an enclosed invisible barrier was then erected around the kid which stopped the latter from listening to the outside noises. Toshinori raises his eyebrow with a frown, he sensed something but he couldn't quite point out what was wrong.
"Now the kid shouldn't be able to hear us for a while, let me tell you the reason why I'm here."
"So the inexplicable feeling I felt just now was because of your doing, huh? I knew my sense wasn't wrong. So, what is it?"
As if knowing what the other party will respond upon hearing his words, he smiles and says, "I want to be a Teacher at U.A High."
"Pffft—" Clearly taken back, Toshinori couldn't help but spurts out the coffee he had just taken a sip. He wipe his mouth and the coffee spilled on the floor with a handkerchief before coughing to clear his throat as he ask, "What did you just say? I think I misheard it."
"You didn't mishear, but I shall repeat. I want to be a Teacher at U.A High," Zhang Yu said, but this time a bit slower so that the other party could understand his words quite clearly. Yet the expression on Toshinori's face seems rather complicated than that of understanding. It appears he didn't mishear it, at the same time, he can't understand.
"...why?" He finally asked after calming down and getting his bearing. If possible, he doesn't want Zhang Yu to get any closer to the U.A High students. He still doesn't know what the deal is with the latter, why was he so keen on helping him raise his successor? Though his dream plan might seem excessive at first glance, it should be possible for the kid to follow it till the end. The reason he was particularly exhausted that day must be because he was pushing himself too much.
"It's nothing complicated. I'm just interested in these so-called quirks, if possible I'd like to see how they work, how they train, something simple like that. If I were a teacher there, I could at least teach some martial art to them while I'm at it," he paused as looked at the kid who had realized he couldn't hear the outside noises despite noticing the two adults were moving their mouths. He tried calling out to them but they didn't seem to hear his words at all, so when he saw Zhang Yu look at him, he was elated and immediately call him out, though it produced the same results.
"If you were going to ask if I had any experience in the Teacher profession, don't worry, I have plenty of them." 'But that's not the reason why I'm worried,' Toshinori sighed as he could feel headache slowly getting to him. He then noticed the kid was on the verge of tears, so he says, "can you remove whatever invisible barrier you put around the kid? He might cry at this rate."
"Sure."
