A gunshot rang out in the street!

Someone had been shot, and a scream of pain pierced the air, quickly sending chaos rippling through the square.

Ordinary bystanders couldn't see Liam ambushed, catching the bullet bare-handed and counterattacking in an instant. Instead, their attention was drawn to the man who had been shot, bleeding nearby, prompting them to quickly move away.

However, Liam's swift reaction did not go unnoticed by the self-proclaimed hunters lurking in the shadows of the crowd.

'Bullets can't hurt him?'

'He caught a frigging bullet with his bare hands?'

'And then he returned it, killing the fool who had ambushed him?'

Some onlookers were secretly shocked. After reading the news in the papers, they had thought those two pirate kids from years ago— whether they had great luck or terrible misfortune— wouldn't have turned into anything extraordinary in just a few years.

They assumed that Chopper-na Giorno had only earned his 100 Million Berry bounty from the Marines because he could steal Devil Fruits!

No one expected this kid… no, this terrifying Chopper-na Giorno, to be such a formidable force beyond ordinary comprehension.

"Murder! Murder!"

"Officer, call the authorities…"

Some of the "hunters," suppressing their shock, slipped away quietly with the panicked crowd, pretending their schemes had never existed.

Liam clapped his hands and said to Hancock and Robin with an exasperated expression on his face, "What's going on? I've been training in seclusion on Amazon Lily Island for years. I should be at the peak of my power, ready to dominate and show off after coming out. Why are all the troublemakers who come looking for me such low-tier characters?"

Hancock replied irritably, "If you want to show off, just go to Marine Headquarters. There would be plenty of glory for you to flaunt there!"

"Do you think I'm stupid?" Liam wondered if Hancock was sending him some kind of signal by snapping at him, but then he thought maybe he was overthinking it.

He joked, "If I dared to go there, the Admirals and the old hero would probably welcome me warmly, break my legs, and throw me into Impel Down. I wouldn't see the light of day for over a decade. The girls in Kuja City would miss me too much."

Sandersonia and a few other Kuja warriors giggled, "That's right, they'd miss you a lot!"

Marigold smiled innocently and said, "Princess Jolyne would miss you the most."

Hancock glanced at Robin, who was watching Liam's side, noticing a few figures pushing through the chaotic crowd. She shook her head.

"Giorno! Your head is mine!"

"Just kidding, it's mine!"

Several figures— some tall, some short, some wielding swords, others axes, and one even swinging a meteor hammer— charged forward.

They treated Chopper-na Giorno, who could catch bullets bare-handed, as easy prey. Little did they know, Hancock, Sandersonia, Marigold, Robin, and the Kuja warriors didn't take them seriously at all.

A few seconds later, these random troublemakers were subdued by a towering young man.

Liam twisted their limbs into knots, indifferent to whether they were loose or tight. He grabbed an arm here, a leg there, and casually twisted them like ribbons.

Soon, accompanied by the sounds of bones cracking and their agonized screams, these individuals were haphazardly twisted into a ball and left rolling on the ground.

"It hurts! It hurts so much!"

"My arm! My leg!"

"You're not human! You're a devil…"

The people tied into a "meatball" cried out. Liam clapped his hands, looked down, and smiled, "Don't act pitiful now. If you had managed to cut me, I'd be the one screaming. Being weak isn't a crime, but thinking you're a Super Saiyan when you're weak is your mistake. You're all in this game, and now that it's over, you should scram!"

With that, he lightly kicked the "meatball" with his foot, sending it rolling toward the crowd.

The stunned onlookers were frightened by the rolling "meatball" and quickly made way, not daring to touch the warm mass.

They could only watch as it rolled out of the square, leaving a trail of blood… When they looked back at the tall young man who had done such a terrifying deed, many were so scared they fled another dozen meters away.

Liam didn't care about the onlookers' reactions. He caught up with the girls and shook his head, "It's a shame Little Black isn't here. I actually have to do this kind of rough work myself. How boring!"

A Kuja warrior pointed at the large screen broadcasting the "Grand Tournament" and said with a smile, "The strong ones who came to this island are probably all in there fighting for the princess. Those watching outside can't be that strong. Giorno, why don't we go in and take a look?" They were all battle enthusiasts, now egging Liam on.

From their observations— though it didn't take much to see— Hancock, who usually disregarded everyone (except for reverence), sometimes even ignoring Snake Princess's words, would listen to Giorno. If Giorno wanted to join the tournament for fun, Hancock would surely agree.

"Can we still join now?" Marigold asked in surprise.

"It's a tournament with almost no rules. Anyone who wants to can step onto the stage…" Sandersonia explained, "It's similar to our Kuja tournaments."

"Do you want to go in and have some fun?" Liam asked.

"Yes, yes!" The Kuja warriors nodded eagerly.

"Do you really want to go in?" Liam confirmed again.

"Of course," the girls laughed, "Look how chaotic this square has become. Soon, the country's officials will come to bother us. We might as well sneak into the tournament, have some fun, and then head back to the ship~"

Robin glanced around.

The crowd in the square had dispersed, and in the distance, soldiers were rushing toward them.

At the edge of the town, it seemed someone was flying rapidly toward the royal city, leaving a trail of smoke behind them.

After placing a pile of books in the ship's cabin, Robin walked onto the deck and looked into the distance. With a thought, petals scattered on a wall a hundred meters away, and a dark green eye opened.

Robin's consciousness gained another perspective— a few Marines were secretly watching the Kuja pirate ship at the port… The flower clone on the deck dissolved into petals, drifting away with the sea breeze.

The Kuja warriors on the ship were used to it; Princess Jolyne's flower clones always appeared and disappeared mysteriously.

Robin's main body looked at Liam, who was focused on Hancock. The latter looked puzzled, slightly frowning, as she concentrated on her Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki)…

Not long after, the entire group entered the arena where the Grand Tournament was being held. They walked through the entrance tunnel, and as they emerged, they found a wide open space.

There were no spectator stands, but scattered around were many people who looked like pirates, bandits, thieves, and bounty hunters. When Liam and the group, especially the women, entered, all eyes turned toward them.

Except for those who were completely clueless, many couldn't help but gasp quietly. Wasn't this the Kuja Pirate crew, who had been making waves in South Blue recently? Rumor had it that these female pirates were ruthless, even taking down the terrifying Glacier Pirate crew…

In the arena, the two fighters paused and looked at the group of women entering through the tunnel. They glanced up at the king and the beautiful princess watching from above, confused. Weren't they here to compete for the princess? What were these women doing here?

At that moment, Princess Oroson stood up and left through a high tunnel. The middle-aged king, showing signs of age, also stood up and said solemnly to the crowd below, "Since they're here, I'll leave them to you… Marines!" The king left with a flick of his sleeve.

"What? Marines!" The people in the arena were shocked. A few Kuja warriors were also puzzled and quickly turned around. They saw a group of people walking through the entrance tunnel, led by a burly man dragging a large cleaver and wearing a familiar Justice cloak.

His footsteps were heavy and loud, and behind him, Marine soldiers slammed the entrance gate shut with a bang.

Robin looked up and saw a figure trailing smoke, quietly landing on the high wall of the arena. Backlit, only the occasional flicker of orange-red light from his mouth was visible.

"Now, listen up, pirates, mountain bandits, no matter what kind of scum you are…"

From the high platform where the king and princess had left, a Marine with a hand on his sword hilt, also wearing a Justice cloak, stepped forward.

It was Vice Admiral Momonga from Marine Headquarters. His cold voice echoed through the arena, "Your common enemy now is this Kuja Pirate crew. Otherwise, you will be seen as directly provoking the World Government!"

Two Marines planted flags on either side of Vice Admiral Momonga—one the Marine seagull flag, the other the World Government's cross-and-circle flag.

Seeing the two flags fluttering, the entire arena erupted in uproar!

Liam, however, didn't bother looking. Instead, he looked up at the smoker on the wall and laughed, "Well, well, you've gotten a lot stronger, Smoker!"
