The people on the ship clearly had never heard the name "Giorno."

While the name had gained some notoriety in the Grand Line and West Blue, it remained relatively unknown in South Blue, especially since he had been out of the public eye for over four years.

The couple looked up at him, their fear palpable. The husband instinctively shielded his wife behind him, swallowing hard as he shook his head. "No... there's nothing left on that island anymore. It's probably..." He forced a wry smile. "Only some pirates have taken over the island now. We just wanted to take a look from afar at the place where we once lived... that's all."

The couple's eyes were fixed on the man standing on the ship's railing, clearly terrified that he might harm their family without warning. They had seen him fly from a distant pirate ship and couldn't help but feel unfortunate to have crossed paths with such a formidable figure.

Liam asked, "So you're just sightseeing… what do you mean there's nothing left on the island?"

He was a bit confused.

The man hesitated before responding, "Just what I said... the Kingdom no longer exists." His expression darkened. "The Sobert Kingdom... it's gone."

Liam was even more puzzled. In the later parts of the manga, during the Levely arc, the Queen of the Sobert Kingdom, Jewelry Bonney— disguised— had still appeared in the Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons. Clearly, the Queen's position still existed, contradicting what the man had just said.

However, Liam wasn't casual enough to start discussing such matters with strangers. He briefly pushed down his curiosity.

"Is she your daughter?" He asked, nodding toward the woman behind them.

Both the husband and wife were of average height, around 1.67 meters, but their daughter was a giant, towering at least 6 or 7 meters tall. Liam had to tilt his head slightly to make eye contact with her while standing on the railing.

The giant woman blinked, appearing to be around 30 years old yet still youthful, with a pure and curious expression. "Big Brother, can you fly?"

"Well, I can fly a little," Liam replied, tilting his head slightly. "If you want to travel across this sea, you need to be able to fly."

"Really?" The giant woman looked amazed and stuck out her tongue. "I can't fly. I'm so jealous of you, Big Brother!"

Liam bluntly responded, "If you can't fly, just stay on the shore. Don't wander around. Go!"

He then jumped backward effortlessly.

The couple quickly leaned over the railing to watch, only to hear a loud "bang" below as the man from the pirate ship took to the air, moving swiftly through the sky just as quickly as he had arrived. In mere moments, he was already far away, flying toward the red pirate ship that was about to dock at Solba Island's coast.

"Big Brother is so cool..." the giant woman sighed in admiration. "Mom, Dad, when I grow up, can I fly like that?"

The couple exchanged glances, unable to suppress their bitter smiles. At this rate, growing up?

As Liam casually walked through the air using Geppo, he glanced back.

Both parents were normal-sized, but their daughter was a giant... It reminded him a little of Big Mom's childhood experience. Charlotte Linlin's parents were normal-sized humans who couldn't care for their gluttonous giant daughter, so they had sent her to Elfa Baff Island, where a nun from an orphanage had taken her in...

"Is something going on?"

Hancock and her sisters, along with the others, were ready to land and had come up to the deck.

Liam landed gracefully. Robin approached, having used her Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi) to reshape her face and revert to her "Jolyne" disguise.

"They're just refugees from the collapse of the Sobert Kingdom," Liam said briefly. "They probably just wanted to see their homeland from afar. But they're afraid of the pirates on the island, so they didn't dare to land... Oh, they've already left." He looked back and noticed the ordinary sailing ship slowly pulling away. He could faintly see the giant woman waving at them from the ship.

One of the crew members muttered, "They can't even go back to their home? They're so pitiful..."

"Oh," Hancock responded indifferently to Liam's words.

She couldn't be bothered to share her emotions with strangers or even many people on Amazon Lily Island. It was only natural for others to try to please her; that was the natural order of things.

Very few people could make her, someone who was always self-centered, take the initiative—let alone speak kindly. Only a handful of individuals could achieve that, just a few.

Robin said, "We're about to dock."

...

Two Snake Sea Kings at the bow of the ship dragged the red ship along the coast, slowly circling.

The coastline was overgrown with weeds, clearly showing no signs of human activity. Through the dense undergrowth, the island's desolate atmosphere seemed to seep through.

"What is that?" A female warrior on the ship pointed in a direction.

On the shoreline, where the land met the water, there was a huge rusted metal block embedded in the mud and sand, covered by layers of seaweed.

The two Snake Sea Kings at the bow, who were very attuned to the ship, suddenly turned the pirate ship's direction, slightly moving away from the coast.

The Kuja warriors, familiar with their ship, immediately understood, "There's something underwater."

Liam reached out.

B.I.B., seeing his body reaching out, immediately understood and placed its "ears" into Liam's palm.

As Liam put on the "headset," the pitch-black Stand floated up and silently entered the sea.

Most of the warriors on the ship didn't notice. First, they didn't use Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) at all times, and second, their Kenbunshoku Haki wasn't particularly sensitive. Only Hancock, her two younger sisters, and Robin— who didn't need Kenbunshoku Haki to understand what Liam was going to do— noticed.

After Liam's power had leaped and leaped again to the point where he wasn't even sure how strong he was, he had decided long ago that one of his entities— either his body or his Stand—must not be affected by the sea. He had made this rule early on to avoid turning both his body and Stand into Devil Fruit Ability users.

Dá dá, Liam lightly tapped his headset. A virtual screen unfolded before him, and his consciousness projected into B.I.B., quickly seeing the underwater scene.

The light spots moved through the water, with seaweed floating like cotton. Beneath the rusted metal block embedded in the mud, there were fragments of... battleship wreckage.

The breakages in the battleship wreckage revealed... claw-like damage. Again and again, it looked like a terrifyingly violent giant bear had torn the whole battleship apart.

Liam's black armor, with its long narrow eyes, leaned in close to the rusted exterior of the battleship. He gently waved his hand, stirring the sea current, sweeping the rust away like dust, revealing characters on the iron wall: S-23.

...

On Sobert Kingdom, Coast—

The Kuja Pirate ship anchored. Some of the warriors stayed aboard.

Hancock, the three sisters, along with another group of Kuja warriors, and Liam and Robin disembarked. They cleared the path through the overgrown weeds and entered the island.

Not far in, they saw a town ahead.

Its ruins were desolate and old, clearly abandoned for a long time.

Liam looked in another direction, towards the center of the island. From a high hill, he could vaguely see a city fortress standing on a hillside.
