''Chapter Title: Liam, on the Day You Wake Up— If You Can't Be Pirate King, You Might As Well Be a Shichibukai''

New World. Moria, who instigated the pirate turmoil, suffered a brutal education from the Kaido Pirates and was nearly wiped out. In the chaos, he stole some famed blades and left the so-called impenetrable, isolationist Wano Country with resentment… Soon after, the Marine's Shichibukai recruitment notice arrived. Moria gladly accepted the title, keeping silent about the Wano Country information the Marines wanted, but he was actually thinking of returning to the West Blue for a visit…

------------------------------

After a while, the Kuja warriors rushed over from all directions.

Upon seeing the devastation along the shore and in the forest, they were shocked and could hardly believe what kind of giant bear could create such chaos. Could it be a Sea King that has come ashore? A Sea King with bear-like characteristics?

......

Meanwhile, in another part of the Amazon Lily Island.

With a sudden "whoosh," Robin appeared almost out of thin air. Just before landing, an unseen force left a huge paw print on the ground, gently cushioning her descent.

"..."

Robin sat up in the pit, speechless.

Immediately after, there was another "whoosh," followed by a "bang" as Liam was knocked down, landing flat on his back in the huge paw print.

"..." Robin looked over at him from her own pit.

Liam sat up and remarked, "You didn't have to throw me, but it's no big deal.

After all, it didn't hurt.

Whoosh!

Hancock appeared out of nowhere, still yelling, "You idiot! What did you do to them... huh?"

Bang!

Hancock fell into a huge paw print pit and stared in confusion at Giorno and Jolyne, who were perfectly fine.

How could they be okay?

Wait, where am I again?

Feeling a bit dazed, Hancock then heard the "whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh" followed by "bang bang bang" as Sandersonia, Marigold and the old man arrived one after the other and landed in different paw print pits.

Seeing this, Hancock quickly understood what had happened.

It had to be some Devil Fruit ability... Hancock suddenly realized as her younger sisters rushed over with a scream, "You scared us to death, Nee Sama! We thought you... oh..."

"What? You thought I was dead?" Hancock angrily pushed her younger sisters away. "Why are you crying? You make yourselves look ugly!"

Sander and Mari immediately pressed their lips together and tried hard to wipe away their tears.

"But little girl, you're crying too." Haredas, the old man, said in confusion.

Hancock paused for a moment while Sander and Mari choked out, "Princess and Giorno were taken by that person... Nee Sama, it was so scary!"

Liam asked curiously, "Oh? You're all crying; you're really upset?"

Hancock angrily wiped away her tears and shouted, "Who's crying?!"

Robin gently smiled when suddenly, Kuma's giant figure appeared beside them with a "whiz," dispersing the air around him.

Hair flew everywhere as Robin noticed that unlike them, there wasn't a giant paw print beneath Kuma's feet.

As a Paw-Paw Fruit Ability user, didn't he need a giant paw print to protect those he sent flying?

Which meant…

The paw print Liam had first discovered belonged to someone else Kuma had sent flying to this island.

Holding his Bible, Kuma looked at Robin. She shifted her gaze and asked Hancock and the others, "Hancock, Sander, Mari, who is this old person?"

Sandersonia replied, "He says he's some kind of scientist who came to our island to study the weather and such."

Marigold added, "He's a man too! He said he would use his family's treasures to buy his life from us…"

Haredas complained, "I really don't have any treasures! I am just a scientist…"

Robin stared at the old man and suddenly said, "I've seen him before."

"Ah?" Liam felt puzzled.

The three Hancock sisters were also surprised.

"I also think this little girl looks familiar…" Haredas said, stroking his white beard as he observed Robin's face.

Robin explained, "Two years ago…"

As she spoke, she gestured, causing petals to swirl around Haredas, forming a clone of her upper body on the ground.

The flower clone spoke, finishing her sentence: "…I saw him on the city wall of Kuja."

Hancock was astonished. This old man had been scheming against them on Amazon Lily Island for that long?

"Ah!" Haredas exclaimed in realization, "I remember now, it's you! Back then, I thought I was imagining things… Turns out it was real! You…"

His gaze flickered between the half-formed flower clone and Robin, grabbing his long white beard, he frowned in thought before suddenly exclaiming, "I know! It's the Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi)! Right? You ate the Flower-Flower Fruit (Hana Hana no Mi)…"

Liam stroked his chin, "You can tell that? Nice observation!"

"Don't let my appearance fool you; I'm still a scientist," Haredas said with dignity. "My memory is still quite impressive…"

"You know a lot about Devil Fruits! Didn't you say you have three of them? Just use those to trade for your life," Hancock interrupted, shooting the old man a glare. After a moment, she added, "And how did you get to this island? You need to tell me that too! Just one person will do…"

Her two younger sisters opened their mouths, wanting to speak but hesitating; they were curious too!

Haredas breathed a sigh of relief and nodded repeatedly, "As long as you don't take our research materials, it's fine."

What did he think? That a few Devil Fruits could save his life? If he had known that over the years, he should have collected a few more Devil Fruits… The three he had left in the warehouse were only kept because they were special types noted in the encyclopedia… It was a good thing he hadn't thrown them away!

"Devil Fruits? Old man, you're quite wealthy!" Liam remarked in surprise. "One Devil Fruit is worth about 100 Million Belly."

Sandersonia and Marigold didn't really have a concept of Belly, but Hancock had been overseas and remembered Jolyne and the others' bounties. She clapped her hands and laughed, "Ha ha! Three of them together are worth even more than your bounties!"

"You're happy now, but I've heard the taste of Devil Fruits is terrible!" Liam chuckled. "I hope you'll be fine when you eat it."

"Ah?" Hancock froze, looking at Liam suspiciously. "Haven't you eaten one too? Don't try to fool me!"

"I don't need to eat," Liam replied calmly.

"What about Jolyne?" Hancock looked at Robin again. "You definitely ate a Devil Fruit yourself, right?"

Robin thought for a moment and described as best as she could: "It's like a week-old milk mixed with bread taken out of a garbage bin, turned into a thick paste…"

"Stop, stop, stop, stop!" Hancock shouted in horror.

Her two younger sisters had already turned pale, looking a bit frightened.

It wasn't just the fear of the terrible taste of Devil Fruits; it was also the fear of Princess Jolyne, who could say something so horrifying without batting an eye… In a way, this Princess was even more terrifying than Snake Princess!

"…" Kuma had been quietly observing the situation. He then felt Liam's gaze upon him, as if he was expected to describe his experience with the Paw-Paw Fruit.

What does he mean? Does he want him to talk about how it felt to eat the Paw-Paw Fruit back then?

Hancock noticed Kuma at this point and exclaimed, "By the way! Who is this big guy? What were you doing before? Were you fighting?"

Kuma, holding his Bible, replied gently, "I was just passing by."

"Passing by the Kuja in the Calm Belt?" Sandersonia and Marigold, the two little girls, didn't believe it.

Hancock said cautiously, "You're a man too, right? What are you here for?"

"Just a reminder, Hancock, you can't beat him," Liam said from the side. "You can tell just by looking at me; he's ridiculously strong."

Hancock shot him a glare, "Even if I can't beat him, is he stronger than Snake Princess?!"

"I'll be leaving soon," Kuma explained. Unlike the other chubby guy, he was genuinely tight-lipped and unwilling to reveal more.

Liam added with glee, "And you've seen for yourself; if he wants to leave, no one can stop him! Trying to extort him probably won't work."

"Whose side are you on?!" Hancock was getting anxious, her face flushed with anger as she raised her foot to kick at Liam.

Although Liam had fought Kuma before, he had also recovered quite a bit of stamina and started to playfully dodge Hancock's kick, catching her ankle and swinging her around in a playful manner like a bull.

Watching their elder sister and Giorno playing around, Sander Sonia and Marigold couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy… At this moment, they couldn't tell if they were more envious of their elder sister or of Giorno.

"Hehe… what lively and adorable little girls!" Haredas said kindly, stroking his long white beard.

Hancock was out of breath from playing with Liam, so she decided to ignore him and, hands on her hips, coldly said to the old man, "You should go get what you need to trade for your life!"

Haredas replied, "Okay, but I need to find my ship first…"

He looked around, confused about where they were along the shore.

Sandersonia snorted, "Liar! Only our Kuja ships can safely sail in the Calm Belt!"

Haredas explained, "My ship is a bit special…"

"How special can it be?"

The three sisters expressed their disbelief.

Under the old man's description, Liam and Robin, familiar with the surrounding geography, quickly led the entire group to a different part of the forest, where they found Haredas's special ship.

"What a… unique ship!"

The three sisters looked at the little wooden boat tied to a tree trunk, floating in the air, with a transparent balloon soaring above it, opening and closing its mouth in a coordinated manner.

"We call it a weather ship," Haredas chuckled, stroking his mustache, "It's a special ship that only scientists who understand weather science from our Weatheria can navigate."

"I see, it can fly?"

Robin was also amazed; the world is truly full of wonders, and seeing a ship like this was incredible.

Haredas smiled, "Naturally."

Hancock and her sisters had already jumped into the weather ship, causing it to drop slightly in the air.

"How magical…" They explored every corner, looking up at the transparent balloon. Hancock exclaimed, "What's that? There's a smaller ball inside the balloon… and something is moving around inside it?"

"…" Kuma was tall enough not to need to look up; he could see the transparent balloon at eye level.

Haredas chuckled, "That's the reason this ship can fly."
