I'm in Honkai: Star Rail, and the Players are Going Feral Over Me!

Chapter 91: Chapter 86 - Two Doggies

"Woof!"

"Alright! Another box!"

Stelle and the Diting moved with perfect synergy, one in front of the other. Wende followed quietly behind them.

Meanwhile, Welt, March 7th, and Miss Tingyun were behind him, analyzing the clues Stelle had discovered.

"Hmm…"

Looking at a shattered vase, Welt couldn't help but ask Tingyun.

"Miss Tingyun, this vase…"

"Rest assured, Mr. Welt. Weren't these vases broken by those Stellaron Hunters?" Tingyun replied with great understanding, having noticed Welt's concern.

"And these boxes…" Welt said, a bit awkwardly, as he looked at the wooden crates that had been forcibly broken open by Stelle.

"Erm… Those too, of course." Tingyun's lips twitched as she forced a smile.

"Then what about these starskiffs…"

"This… this is beyond this humble lady's authority…" Tingyun shook her head decisively. The Sky-Faring Commission's budget didn't grow on trees. It seemed she would have to let their benefactor, Wende, properly discipline that one.

"Is that so… Well, it should be fine. With Wende watching over her, Stelle probably won't make that kind of mistake, right?" Welt thought with a sliver of hope.

A single starskiff was not cheap… If their funds were depleted, the entire Astral Express crew might have to work on the Xianzhou for a month just to pay it off.

Hmm, I wonder if the Artisanship Commission is hiring designers.

"Let me just say, how is Stelle so energetic? Doesn't she get tired?" March 7th asked, shaking her head in disbelief as she watched Stelle up ahead, who was just as lively as the Diting.

"It's probably because of the Stellaron…" Welt guessed. Stelle had already demonstrated her incredible recovery abilities, including but not limited to being impaled by Cocolia and being perfectly fine after drinking Himeko's expired coffee.

While it couldn't be ruled out that their logistician, Wende, was simply too powerful, it was also undoubtedly related to Stelle's own physical constitution.

If it were him… he truly didn't dare to imagine what kind of reaction a liquid that could instantly corrode stainless steel would have in his stomach…

"Stellaron?"

Miss Tingyun's ears twitched, her eyes filled with confusion.

"Does benefactor Stelle have some sort of relationship with the Stellaron?"

"Well… it's a long story. Let's focus on finding Kafka's trail for now."

Welt selectively sidestepped the topic. Although the fact that Stelle was a Stellaron's vessel was no longer a secret, the less said, the better.

"Indeed. Now is certainly not the time for idle chatter." Tingyun nodded in agreement. Whatever needed to be discussed could wait for later.

"So, it looks like Stelle is surrounded by those abominations again. Are we sure we don't need to help?" March's tone was filled with concern as she looked at Stelle, who was encircled by dozens of Abundance Abominations.

"Yes, let's go."

Welt was the first to walk toward Stelle, with March following close behind.

"…"

Tingyun stood in place, watching the trailblazing team ahead, lost in thought.

"Miss Tingyun! Hurry up! It's dangerous to stand there alone!" March shouted loudly to the dazed Tingyun behind them.

"Oh, this little lady is on her way!"

A hint of gentleness appeared in Tingyun's eyes, and she trotted over to the group.

"Awooo!"

The little Diting let out a strange cry, its four short legs scrambling madly across the ground as it weaved between the legs of the Abundance Abominations.

Clang! Clang!

The Abominations' attacks were all dodged by the Diting's nimble movements.

"Hey! Here's a buff for you!"

March's shield was placed on… the little Diting next to Stelle.

"?"

"Woof?"

Meeting the two confused gazes from the two "doggies," March shrunk her neck back in embarrassment and spoke awkwardly.

"Ehehe… I'm telling you I mis-clicked, would you believe me?"

"So many soldiers fallen to the Mara… It seems the Cloud Knights have suffered heavy losses…" Welt silently put away his cane, shaking his head as he looked at the defeated abominations on the ground.

"Indeed… While long life may grant immortality… it also comes with a price to pay…"

"…"

"Sigh, let's keep moving. I have a feeling that we're not far from Kafka's trail. Even if this is a game to her, it should be nearing its end."

"Mmm…"

"So, why do I feel like something is off? But I can't quite put my finger on it?" Sister Guoguo mused, stroking her chin with a look of confusion.

[I feel like the little foxian lady has become a bit somber.]

[Of course she would. Seeing former colleagues turn into such inhuman monsters, anyone would react that way.]

[I mean, I know, but isn't the little fox from the Sky-Faring Commission? These are Cloud Knights…]

[Aren't they all Xianzhou people?]

[You're not wrong ( )]

[I get it, there's a sad twist coming!]

[Twist, twist, twist! Are you obsessed with sad twists!]

[Fight! Fight! Fight!]

"Let's turn our attention to Wende over there… Look how calm and collected our Wende is, always following behind to protect everyone."

[Yes, yes, it must be the feeling of a parent taking their child and dog out for a walk.]

[? Isn't it my father taking two dogs for a walk?]

[This damned sense of déjà vu…]

[But he wiped my face earlier… He's so gentle…]

[Oh no, I can't tell if this is fatherly love or motherly love anymore!]

[This is why you shouldn't develop strange feelings for your father/mother!]

[I'm gonna do it anyway!]

[So] you guys aren't looking forward to what happens when our Sworn Father meets Kafka?]

[Trailblazer: I am the most blissful person in the world!]

[You'd better mean blissful in the wholesome sense.]

"Woof… Woof woof woof!!"

The Diting suddenly started barking loudly at a jar.

"Hah!"

Smash!

A baseball bat, glowing with a pale blue-white light, immediately shattered the jar.

"Hiss…"

Seeing the pattern on that jar, Tingyun sucked in a sharp breath of cold air and immediately took out her Jade Abacus, her fingers flying across it.

[This Little Lady is Polite: Lady Yukong, did we happen to leave anything valuable at Jiongxing Port?]

[Sky-Faring Commission Yukong: ? What's wrong?]

[Sky-Faring Commission Yukong: Besides the starskiffs, everything at Jiongxing Port is just some pots and jars. They aren't worth anything.]

[This Little Lady is Polite: Really? Are those pots and jars really not valuable?]

[Sky-Faring Commission Yukong: Relax. They're all unwanted items. The personnel stationed there before just used them as decorations.]

[This Little Lady is Polite: Is that so… That's good then.]

Reading Yukong's reply, Tingyun let out a sigh of relief.

Sensing the confused gazes of the others, Tingyun simply smiled and shook her head.

"It seems everything is fine. Rest assured, everyone."

Tingyun said with a smile, while a seed of doubt was planted in her heart. Why would this kind of jar be placed at Jiongxing Port as if it were trash? This is a highly sought-after item on the Xianzhou!
