King pushed open a weathered stone door, and a vast space came into view, This was the space that an enraged Jack had carved out with his bare fists!

"Big brother, you're back!" Jack sat down, wiping the sweat from his forehead as he spoke.

Ever since Kaido left, Jack had been training relentlessly.

After all, that incident had been too humiliating!

Jack attributed all the failure to his own weakness.

King patted Jack on the shoulder.

"Don't blame yourself, Jack! We'll get our revenge!" King said through gritted teeth as he looked into the distance.

Jack nodded, finally ready to take a break.

At that moment, Queen wobbled in, his large belly swaying as he entered.

"King, where do you think the Governor has been all this time? He's been gone for so long!" Queen plopped down on a stool, picking up a large chicken leg from the table and taking a bite.

"Most likely, he's gone to cause trouble for the whitebeard Pirates!" King also sat down, picking up a glass of fine wine to savor.

"It's been so many days and he hasn't contacted us. Could something have happened?" Jack frowned as he spoke.

"Shut your damn mouth!" Queen glared, throwing the half-eaten chicken leg at Jack.

"Don't blame Queen for scolding you. You know how the Governor is, don't you?" King walked over, shaking his head helplessly.

"Exactly, the Governor always comes back after a couple of days!" Queen sat back down, speaking leisurely.

"Those guys can't do anything to him!"

That's right, they were used to Kaido running off on his own to wreak havoc on various factions, There was no need for any cleanup.

Even if Kaido got captured, he'd be back within a day or two!

There was even that one time when Kaido, drunk, caused chaos at Marineford. The higher-ups of the Marines were furious and sent Garp and the three Admirals to defeat Kaido and throw him into Impel Down, the underwater prison.

Yet, within three days, Kaido broke free of the Seastone chains and swaggered out of Impel Down.

This was the confidence they had in Kaido strength!

"Big brothers I understand what you're saying!" Jack tossed the chicken leg off his head and spoke with a hint of grievance.

"But the whitebeard Pirates are not what they used to be! That Pryce inventions are all sorts of bizarre! I'm worried the Governor might be at a disadvantage!"

Hearing this, King and Queen exchanged glances and then burst into laughter.

"Jack, you're just worrying too much!" Queen said with a hearty laugh. "I admit that Pryce inventions are indeed extraordinary, but it's still a million years too early to think they can deal with Kaido-sama!"

"That's right, Jack!" King nodded in agreement, a rare moment of unity between him and Queen.

"Think about it—if Pryce inventions could actually harm Kaido-san, that old man Whitebeard would kill Kaido-san long ago!"

Jack nodded, though he only half-understood, a lingering sense of anxiety still gnawing at him.

Suddenly, a loud bang echoed from the entrance of the cave, followed by the clamor of surprised voices. King and Queen exchanged another glance and strode out in unison.

Jack quickly put down the food he was holding and followed them.

As soon as they stepped out of the cave, the three of them saw the explosive, muscular back of Kaido.

"Welcome back, Kaido-sama!" Queen said cheerfully. "You must have had a great time causing chaos with the whitebeard Pirates this time!"

After all, the morale of the Beast Pirates had been at an all-time low due to the interference of the whitebeard Pirates. Queen hoped that Kaido rampage among the whitebeard Pirates would reignite the fighting spirit of the crew.

"You call this a great time?" Kaido turned around with a grim expression, pointing at his chest.

Queen froze in place, his smile slowly fading.

The three of them immediately widened their eyes.

On Kaido bare chest was a massive, hideous scar! It was clear that this was the result of Kaido recent excursion.

King brow furrowed deeply. Every time Kaido went out alone to wreak havoc, he would return covered in wounds, but he never left with scars.

This time, however, he had returned with such a massive scar!

At that moment, a News Coo flew over, only to be knocked unconscious by Kaido terrifying aura.

A crew member ran over, grabbed a newspaper and quickly handed it to King.

King immediately opened the newspaper and sure enough, it detailed the incident of Kaido injury.

"Kaido-san, was this wound really caused by the whitebeard Pirates?" King asked, his voice tinged with shock as he frowned.

"I'll go to the whitebeard Pirates and avenge you!"

He was about to gather his subordinates and head straight for the whitebeard Pirates.

"Idiot, come back!" King shook his head and spoke sternly. "What good would you going alone do?"

"Jack, listen to him. I don't need you to avenge me!" Kaido nodded and said.

Even Kaido himself had fled in defeat.

If Jack went, he might not make it back alive!

In this critical time, none of his top subordinates could afford to be lost.

"This time, I really fell into Pryce hands!" Kaido returned to the cave, picked up his massive gourd of wine, and began drinking heavily.
