I'm Already Invulnerable, I Want to Play DPS. And Look Badass Doing it

Chapter 13: 13-A Terrifying Attribute Panel!

---

With a swing of his blade, an [Lv8 Elite] scarecrow split in two, granting Su Mo one free attribute point.

Though these level 8 elites didn't yield the 2 points he'd hoped for, leaving him slightly disappointed, the sight of the endless swarm of scarecrows across the field reignited his excitement.

After cutting down 10 scarecrows, Su Mo went full berserk mode.

His Guandao whirled like a top—any scarecrow within two meters was sliced in half.

He carved a path forward, leaving a trail of broken scarecrow bodies behind.

In just three minutes, he'd racked up a wild 76 free attribute points.

In the Goblin instance, he had to scour caves for enemies, but here? No need.

Su Mo planted his Guandao into the ground, one hand resting on it, the other rubbing his dizzy head. Scarecrow attacks rained down on him, but he ignored them completely.

"This won't do. There are tons of monsters, but my speed's still too slow! My constitution's lagging too—spinning for three minutes shouldn't leave me this dizzy!"

With that thought, he didn't hesitate. Under the storm of scarecrow assaults, he started allocating points.

76 points from this run, plus 3 from beating the Goblin King earlier—79 total.

After a brief pause, he dumped 40 into constitution and the remaining 39 into speed.

[Name: Su Mo]

[Level: 5]

[Awakened Abilities: Absolute Defense, Heart of Slaughter]

[Strength: 129]

[Defense: Max]

[Speed: 52]

[Constitution: 69]

[Critical Chance: 10%]

[Skills: None]

[Free Attribute Points: 0]

Gazing at his revamped stat panel and feeling the changes in his body, Su Mo felt ridiculously strong!

Especially his speed—jumping from 13 to 52. One casual step now covered 10 meters.

And that was without trying. If he went all out, he couldn't even imagine how fast 52 speed would be.

Speed didn't just mean movement—it included reaction time too.

The arrows shooting at him? He could dodge them effortlessly now if he wanted.

But why bother? He hadn't boosted speed to evade attacks—he'd done it because he wasn't killing fast enough!

Gripping his Guandao again, he took a deep breath, swung it forward, and unleashed berserk mode once more.

If he was a spinning top before, now he was a blazing whirlwind.

His kill speed skyrocketed, and his movement kept pace.

At level 5, wielding a 600-kilogram Guandao, he mowed down level 8 and 9 elites like grass.

Maxed defense ignored all attacks. His 129 strength had hit silver-tier levels.

If these monsters had any brains, they'd have fled the moment they saw him tearing through like this.

Spinning and slashing his way forward, he left nothing alive—not even the weeds got spared a couple cuts.

Watching scarecrows drop and his free attribute points soar, Su Mo's face broke into a grin.

This kind of harvest? Normal people couldn't even dream of it.

And they couldn't—because they'd be dead in this instance. Only he could go full berserk here.

But now he understood why leaving the city required level 5.

Before level 5, it's newbie mode—low experience needed to level up.

After level 5, the experience requirement jumps tenfold!

Textbooks say it's not that it increases—it's that the first five levels revert to "normal" experience, a perk for freshly awakened folks to level up fast.

Ten minutes later, the scarecrows in the field thinned out, leaving only a sea of corpses.

With another slash, he bisected the second-to-last scarecrow.

Suddenly, the bright sky turned pitch black. A blood-red moon cast an eerie glow.

Every scarecrow he'd killed rose again from the ground.

For any other team, this would be the breaking point—exhausted and now facing a revived horde? Despair would set in.

But Su Mo? He got even more pumped.

"Is this telling me to farm them all over again?! What a rare, awesome instance!

Well, I won't say no to that!"

Laughing wildly, he swung his Guandao at the nearest scarecrow.

The blade passed through, but the scarecrow stood unmoved.

Su Mo frowned. He hadn't felt any resistance.

Elemental creatures, maybe?

That could be trouble.

All his attacks relied on raw stats—he had zero skills.

As he pondered, every scarecrow shot toward the blood moon, merging rapidly.

A blinding red flash forced Su Mo to squint.

When he opened his eyes, a colossal 100-meter-tall figure loomed before him.

Focusing, a stat panel popped up:

[Golden Boss]

[Name: Fear Scarecrow]

[Level: Lv 10]

[Skills: Heart of Fear, Control, Telekinesis, Puppet Creation, Nightmare]

[HP: 99,999]

[Strength: 658]

[Defense: 532]

[Spirit: 999]

[Speed: 135]

Seeing those stats, Su Mo's jaw dropped.

He'd thought his own numbers were absurd, but next to this thing, he was a speck!

Before, he'd been proud that at level 5, he had the power of a level 10 bronze boss—able to one-shot them, even.

But he hadn't realized the gap between bronze and gold, with only silver in between, was this massive.

This golden boss was just level 10, but with stats like that, a squad of level 40+ silver-tiers would get flattened in one slap.

He didn't know peak silver-tier strength, but the silvers he'd met? No match for this thing.

Ten minutes ago, this boss would've given him a headache.

Nearly 100,000 HP and 532 defense? Breaking through would've been tough.

But now? Su Mo licked his lips, eyeing his 460 free attribute points.

What goodies would a golden boss drop?!

"Pump those points!!!"

He slammed his Guandao into the ground and dumped all 460 points into strength!

With a light squeeze, five finger marks dented the 600-kilogram blade.

Even after Wang Defa's reinforcements, it couldn't handle Su Mo's monstrous strength anymore.

"Old Wang skimped a bit, huh!"
