I'm A Plunderer In The World Of One Piece.

Chapter 45: Chapter 45: Shy guy, with a bounty of 50 berries.

"Shirogai killed such a huge goldfish with just one blow?"

"Wow! Shirogai is so amazing!"

Seeing that the giant goldfish had indeed been dealt with by Shirogai, the crew on the Going Merry, though prepared, couldn't help but be amazed by the overwhelming power of his Haki.

They had expected him to maybe blast open a gap for them to escape, but no one imagined he would completely vaporize the massive head of the giant Island Eater with one strike.

As sunlight bathed the deck once again, Luffy clenched his fists and laughed joyfully:

"Charge! Merry, full speed ahead!"

"It's a pity we can't steam and eat a fish head that big."

__

Shirogai leapt down from the Merry's ram, casually tossing Yubashiri aside.

"Ahhhhhh!"

Usopp screamed and dove toward him, clinging to Shirogai's left arm.

He looked up with awe and shouted:

"Shirogai, you're my idol!"

"Hehehe!"

Luffy clung to his right arm, his eyes gleaming:

"Hahaha! Sugoi! That move was insane! Can you teach me that?"

Shirogai grinned:

"Sure, but learning it might hurt a little."

The others were equally stunned that Shirogai had obliterated the head of a goldfish nearly the size of Laboon with one hit.

Nami slumped on the deck, pressing a hand to her chest as she sighed with relief:

"Oh my god, that scared me half to death. I thought we were fish food. I'm burning up from sheer terror."

"The Pirate's strength is terrifying..."

Vivi stood trembling beside her, clutching the Eternal Pose.

Her voice wavered with unease.

Even though she trusted Shirogai, the instinctive fear of being eaten alive was hard to suppress.

"Compared to them... I'm just a princess of a small country."

Vivi glanced at Shirogai's calm smile, feeling a flicker of self-doubt.

But she shook it off.

No time for that now. Stopping Crocodile and saving Alabasta was what mattered.

She took a deep breath and helped the fainted Duck, who was twitching in fright.

...

"What a strike..."

Zoro stood with arms crossed, watching the distant energy orb that still soared through the sky. He let out a quiet sigh:

"Shirogai's gotten stronger."

"Yeah."

Sanji exhaled a puff of smoke, nodding:

"He's a mystery alright."

...

Sizzle... sizzle...

The Haki energy continued to fly, producing a piercing sound.

Even after erasing the goldfish's head, it surged skyward, carving a black scar across the sky.

Moments later, a deafening boom echoed.

A swirling mass of dark energy twisted and exploded.

Crack!!

The shockwave stirred powerful winds that even reached the distant Merry Go.

"Woooaaahh!"

The sudden gust pushed hard against the ship. Had the sails not been furled, they might've been blown back to Little Garden.

Luckily, Shirogai had warned them.

"Look up!"

Everyone glanced skyward—and froze.

"Oh my god... did Shirogai really just blow a hole in the sky?"

Above them, the clouds had parted unnaturally, revealing only streaks of lightning tearing through the void.

...

After ten minutes, the sky returned to normal.

Drip, drop. A gentle rain began falling over the Merry Go.

Boom!

Thunder rumbled, and the rain turned into a storm.

The Straw Hat Pirates scrambled to raise the sails again as the ship picked up speed.

...

Inspired by Shirogai's overwhelming attack, the earlier fear of death faded. Everyone's morale was restored.

"Haki God!"

Luffy mimicked Shirogai's motions on deck.

"Boom! My head exploded!"

Usopp acted out the goldfish's demise, dramatically collapsing and twitching.

Shirogai smiled as he watched:

"Luffy, we've left Little Garden. Shouldn't we declare our next destination?"

"Oh right! Totally forgot!"

Luffy beamed, leaping onto the Merry Go's ram.

Holding his Straw Hat with one hand, he raised the other in a fist:

"My crew—next stop, Vivi's hometown!"

The others cheered loudly:

"Yeah!!"

...

"The Island Eater got wiped out just like that?"

On the shore of Little Garden, Dorry and Brogy were still stunned.

They stared in disbelief at the Going Merry, sailing calmly across the sea that moments ago was dyed red.

"One hit?"

They turned their gaze toward the sinking corpse of the massive goldfish.

The creature's decapitated body slowly sank beneath the waves.

"..."

"..."

The two giants exchanged long, silent stares.

After a moment, Brogy scratched his head:

"Hey Dorry, didn't that look kinda like our Hakoku Sovereignty technique?"

Dorry nodded thoughtfully:

"Very similar, but far more powerful. That must've been a Haki energy form created with Conqueror's Haki."

"Conqueror's Haki, huh? Like those interesting pirates we met back in the day..."

Brogy thought about the Straw Hat crew.

"Dorry, which one do you think unleashed that kind of force?"

Dorry narrowed his eyes, recalling their encounter.

He focused on one face in his memory.

Both giants spoke at once:

"That smiling guy."

"Shirogai?"

...

A long time ago, a group of giant warriors known as the Giant Warrior Pirates roamed the seas.

Led by Red Ogre Brogy and Blue Ogre Dorry, their strength was unmatched.

But their voyage ended when a young girl casually asked:

"Which of your Sea Kings is bigger?"

Pride flared between the two captains.

They laid out their kills—nearly identical in size.

"See, Brogy? Mine's bigger."

"Are you blind? Mine's longer by three centimeters!"

"Then let's settle this Elbaf-style!"

Their crews left them behind to duel on Little Garden.

For a hundred years, the two giants fought daily.

Only after witnessing Shirogai's terrifying attack did they realize their battle could finally end.

With shattered weapons, they united one last time and launched Hakoku Sovereignty, sending the demon disguised as Shirogai flying.

Their century-old fight had come to a close.

...

Aboard the Going Merry.

Shirogai, standing at the helm, glanced back at Nami.

Her face was flushed.

"Nami, go rest in the cabin. You're burning up."

"I-I'm fine…"

Vivi helped her out of the helm room, concern clear on her face.

Feeling the heat radiating from Nami, Vivi called out:

"Luffy, do you have a doctor on board?"

Luffy popped his head out, chewing meat:

"A doctor? Nope! But we've got a cook!"

"Ship doctor..."

Shirogai smirked and turned the helm.

The Merry Go shifted course.

"Time to pick up a shy guy with a bounty of 50 Berries."

Their destination: Drum Kingdom.
