I'm A Plunderer In The World Of One Piece.

Chapter 26: Chapter 26: Why Would Someone Like This Appear Here?

"Sorry, I don't have any free time at night."

In the midst of a calm moment, Shirogai offered a faint smile to the group of flirtatious women dressed as nuns at the kitchen door. His relaxed confidence and striking features made their hearts race.

He wasn't lying.

Each night, Shirogai used the [God-Level Comprehension System] to immerse himself in simulated battles, mastering enemy techniques until dawn.

Swish!

Without even turning, Shirogai diced the ingredients mid-air with precise control, a casual grin on his face.

"As for the secret to great cooking... there's only one—put your heart into it."

The fake nuns were momentarily stunned, eyes gleaming, their breath caught.

"Wow! He's so handsome!"

One particularly bold woman with seductive curves sauntered into the kitchen, wrapping her arms around Shirogai's neck and purring:

"I think I'm falling for you. Can you make me a dish... of love?"

"Madam, control yourself."

Shirogai sidestepped her without hesitation, completely unfazed by her touch.

He calmly plated ten hot dishes, each steaming with rich aroma, and said:

"Your meal is ready. Please be patient, it'll be worth the wait."

"Haha, he's really something."

Unbothered by his rejection, the woman winked, deliberately lifting the edge of her habit to show off the black stockings underneath.

"Chef-san," she whispered, biting her lip, "I'm starving... I could just eat you up."

Another chimed in with a sultry tone, "Forget the food, come have fun with us."

The group of women at the door shifted suggestively, their habits barely concealing their intent. They flaunted their figures, drawing closer.

Under their intense gazes, Shirogai's hand paused briefly.

"...But, I'm in the middle of cooking."

"We already have chefs in Whiskey Peak," one purred, pressing her hand into his, "but none of them are as... exciting as you."

Her warm breath tickled his ear as she murmured:

"Come with us to confess. Let the church purify the sins of our bodies."

She emphasized bodies with a dramatic sway of her chest, brushing intentionally against him.

"...Alright, then."

With a wry smile, Shirogai wiped his hands and stepped away from the stove, following the alluring group toward a quiet church nearby—unaware or simply unbothered by their intentions.

---

From the shadows, Whiskey Peak's townsfolk watched him being led away.

"A shame... I probably won't taste food like that again," one muttered.

Though Shirogai was a pirate, the dishes he'd made were nothing short of extraordinary.

If they could, the pirate hunters disguised as townspeople would've chained him in the kitchen forever.

But even they knew—they were dealing with someone dangerous.

Mayor Igaram, also known as Mr. 8, had ordered this seduction scheme. Avoiding direct conflict, he hoped the women would lull the pirate into vulnerability, drug him, and finish the job quietly.

Meanwhile, those who had tasted Shirogai's cooking guarded their plates like wild beasts.

"Awooo, don't come near me! I'm almost done!"

"Back off! Infighting violates protocol!"

People huddled around their food like treasure, devouring every last bite while others glared in jealousy.

---

Inside the banquet hall, the party raged on.

"This girl just downed her fifteenth glass of wine!"

"Amazing!"

"More meat! Three more plates!"

"Usopp-sama is the greatest warrior ever!"

Luffy and the others laughed loudly, completely unaware.

Shirogai had already been lured away, heading straight for the pirate hunters' stronghold disguised as a church.

---

Under the half-lit crescent moon, Whiskey Peak looked serene.

Its lamps were out, streets silent.

"Sleep well, adventurers," came a whisper.

Standing atop Cactus Rock, Mr. 8 gazed down from a rooftop, hands folded behind him. His voice drifted like a curse:

"Tonight, the moonlight will dance with death, and these fools will slip into the next world without ever waking..."

"You really are a poet, Mr. 8."

From the shadows appeared Mr. 7, with Vivi—code-named Miss Wednesday—seated beside him.

"It's you two," Mr. 8 said, straightening.

He met Vivi's eyes for a brief moment. She gave a tiny nod.

The princess is safe.

Mr. 8 quietly exhaled in relief.

Behind them, the door opened and Miss Monday stepped out, still wearing her nun disguise.

"That little girl really can drink," she grumbled.

With a stretch, she pulled off the disguise, revealing her muscular frame beneath.

"If I hadn't slipped something into her drink, she'd still be raising a fuss."

She rubbed her head, dizzy from her own drinks, and cracked her neck.

"I still don't get why we're throwing a party. They're just six kids. We could've captured them at the port. We're not exactly swimming in food either."

"And I told you that's unfair!"

Mr. 9 barked defensively, only to be met with Miss Monday's cold glare.

"Hmph. Weak men shouldn't speak to me."

No one could've guessed these two bickering agents would one day marry and raise a son right here in Whiskey Peak.

"Miss Monday," Mr. 8 said sternly, "don't underestimate that crew based on appearances."

He pulled out two wanted posters.

"If we had tried anything at the port, our whole bounty hunter squad would be dead by now."

"What?"

The others froze.

"Thirty million Berries?"

They gawked at Luffy's grinning face on the poster.

"This guy? Seriously? He doesn't look like a pirate worth thirty million Berries!"

"Yeah! They all seem so... normal!"

Even Vivi, in on the plan, feigned shock expertly.

Miss Monday touched her pink buzz-cut with a stiff expression.

"I almost got us all killed..."

Mr. 8 pushed Luffy's poster aside to reveal another bounty.

A striking man with white clothes and a sword: Shirogai Yamikuro.

He tapped the amount with a grim voice.

"This pirate... his bounty is one hundred million Berries. If Luffy could wipe out Whiskey Peak's hunters, then Shirogai would've destroyed the entire island. Nothing would've been left."

"One hundred million!?"

They all froze, staring at the image.

As bounty hunters, they knew exactly what that number meant.

A pirate that powerful had no business showing up here.

Miss Monday staggered and dropped to her knees with a thud.

Her face twitched as she looked at Shirogai's poster, voice trembling:

"Why would a monster like that appear at the entrance to the Grand Line...?"
