I’m a Green Tea in a Matriarchal World

Chapter 1 - This World Is Too Weird

Su Yu propped himself up from the bed with his hands, realizing something seemed terribly off.

Sheer gauze canopy, a screen embroidered with exquisite patterns, furniture steeped in an ancient, fragrant charm, and a girl standing before him, dressed in an utterly bizarre outfit.

She wore a light green ruqun, her hair neatly tied up. With delicate features, she looked about thirteen or fourteen, her large, dark eyes blinking as they fixed intently on him.

“Young Master, it’s getting late. Are you ready to get up and dress? Little Qing will wait outside.”

With that, the girl called Little Qing lifted the beaded curtain of the screen and stepped out.

Su Yu froze for a moment. It felt like he was dreaming of being some ancient noble young master.

He’d just woken up…

A dream within a dream? This was getting ridiculously interesting.

But dressing himself—shouldn’t a maid help with that?

Su Yu had been eager to experience the feeling of being attended to.

“Still, having a thirteen- or fourteen-year-old little loli serve me? Even if she’s willing, I couldn’t stomach it. And…”

Su Yu threw off the covers and saw he was clad in soft white undergarments. Glancing at his wrist, he noticed skin so pale it was almost translucent, faint blue veins visible beneath.

“Is this really a dream?”

His body swayed, and suddenly a flood of fragmented memories flashed through his mind like a lantern reel.

He understood now—this wasn’t a dream. He had transmigrated.

He was Su Yu, the third child of the Su family, and its only son.

Su Yu had grown up in the sprawling Su family estate, living a life of comfort and luxury, utterly spoiled.

Using “spoiled” to describe a man might sound odd, but in this world, it was perfectly normal.

In Su Yu’s memories, this world was bizarre beyond belief.

Men had no strength to bind a chicken, while women possessed terrifying strength.

Yes, this was a world where women dominated and men were frail.

Men stayed home to raise children and manage the household, while women carved out empires and charged across battlefields.

The reason for all this traced back to ancient times when the sky shattered.

A mysterious yin energy had drifted down from the void, merging into this world.

This strange force favored women exclusively, boosting their physical prowess until they far surpassed men.

What followed was only natural…

“Men can’t go out at night carelessly, or they’ll be snatched away by wicked women and subjected to all sorts of defilement…”

“Men just need to be pretty like flowers—fighting and killing is for the big women…”

The corners of Su Yu’s mouth twitched. He didn’t even know where to begin mocking this.

“Men get kept by women, lusted after for their bodies…”

“Boys are weak and need to protect themselves outside, or they’ll meet a grim fate…”

Now Su Yu finally understood why Little Qing didn’t help him dress—it was about the separation of genders, but reversed.

Of course, how could a man’s skin be so casually exposed to a woman?

“Hahaha!!”

At this realization, Su Yu clutched his stomach, nearly dying of laughter.

But as he laughed, his expression darkened.

This was a fantastical world.

From his memories, he learned that women, through cultivation, could gain the power to soar through the skies, move mountains, and fill seas.

Men, however, were shunned by that mysterious yin energy and couldn’t cultivate at all.

Even the rare prodigies among them could only surpass average humans at best—reaching the pinnacle was utterly impossible.

“This is so unfair!”

Su Yu’s mood grew heavy.

Transmigrating into a world where cultivation was possible should’ve brought double the joy, a dreamlike bliss stacking happiness upon happiness.

But this world didn’t care for men…

What a load of crap!!

“So… is this it?”

From his memories, he knew his current body wasn’t bad-looking—in fact, he’d earned the title of Qiluo’s Most Beautiful Man.

He didn’t need to do anything and could still marry a top-tier girl in the future.

No, wait—he’d be the one married off…

Su Yu let out a wistful sigh.

Rubbing his temples with his fingers, he felt a headache coming on.

“At least I don’t have to bear children.”

Coming to such a bizarre world was one thing, but if he had to give birth too, he’d rather slit his throat and reincarnate again.

Speaking of which, how had he even transmigrated?

“System? Main God? Anyone there? Give me a squeak if you are…”

“…”

No response. Su Yu felt a pang of disappointment.

Had he died from overwork at a 996 job? A car accident? Electrocution? Or something else?

He couldn’t figure it out. Oh, right—he hadn’t even seen what he looked like yet.

Slipping his snowy-white feet into shoes, he walked to a polished bronze mirror.

“This…”

Su Yu’s heart skipped a beat, his eyes widening. A suffocating sensation hit him, as if someone had grabbed his throat and stolen his breath.

Reflected was a figure as delicate as a doll, as enchanting as a sprite, looking about sixteen or seventeen.

Perhaps because he’d just woken up, the young man’s white clothes were slightly damp.

Thin sweat seeped through the robe, accentuating an impeccable physique.

The skin exposed beyond the fabric glowed softly like white jade.

Long black hair cascaded down his back, a few strands clinging to his sweat-dampened cheeks. Paired with his youthful innocence, he could only be described as breathtakingly radiant.

A man looking like this could only be called a monstrous beauty, right?

Su Yu touched his face in disbelief.

High looks, long legs, flawless skin—smooth to the touch, with charm off the charts.

The silky feel under his fingers—this was really him!?

Glancing around to ensure no one was there, Su Yu steeled himself and bit his tongue hard.

“Ow!!”

“Young Master, why would you do that?”

“Do what?”

“Well… um…”

Su Yu’s sudden action made Little Qing’s cheeks flush red.

Biting himself…

His flustered panic after being caught was like a startled kitten.

So cute!!

“You didn’t see anything, and you didn’t hear anything, got it!?” Su Yu’s face burned, and he couldn’t help barking at her.

“Ah, I… I got it!”

Little Qing nodded weakly, looking utterly easy to push around.

Su Yu’s eyes lit up. Though memories told him the gap between men and women was vast, with this little girl…

He wasn’t about to bully her—Su Yu wasn’t that depraved as a man.

He just felt unwilling!

In this female-dominated world, men were the ones pursued and protected.

The reversal of gender roles didn’t bother Su Yu much.

Compared to his last life as a corporate slave and shut-in, this noble young master start was like heaven versus earth.

But…

If this were a normal world, he’d happily coast through life. Yet the chance to cultivate and become immortal…

Eternal life, soaring through the skies…

As the saying goes, every man harbors a dream of commanding the world!

Su Yu was no exception. What frustrated him was that this world’s spiritual energy seemed sexist—men weren’t favored by it. Only one-in-a-million geniuses could cultivate.

Was he that kind of monstrous talent? Su Yu had no clue.

“Forget it, no point thinking about useless stuff!” Shaking his head, Su Yu refused to accept this fate.

Men were supposedly born weak, but how weak exactly?

He felt his strength wasn’t much different from his past life.

It wasn’t that he’d gotten weaker—women had gotten stronger. So how big was the gap? Su Yu wanted to test it, and his test subject…

Little Qing blinked innocently with her big eyes. It’d be her.

Indeed, with glossy black hair, a cute face carved like jade, charming slanted bangs, and a height of barely five-foot-two.

Her petite frame looked fragile enough to topple in a breeze. Even if this world favored women, it couldn’t be that extreme, right?
