"————"

The atmosphere in the entire luxurious room became somewhat subtle.

The young girl holding a Knight's sword gazed at Fang Li with a frank and determined look, her body exuding a noble aura.

Fang Li stopped not only because the young girl blocked his path but also because of this aura.

Of course, whether it was noble or not was not the reason Fang Li stopped.

There were two reasons why Fang Li stopped.

One was that the girl in front of him, though very young, only around 12-13 years old, had an aura stronger than anyone he had encountered in the Royal Castle.

(This is already comparable to Toudou Kirin, isn't it?)

In other words, this young girl, like Toudou Kirin, had reached the Fourth Rank at a young age.

This was not the reason Fang Li was surprised.

What truly caught Fang Li's attention was the magnificent Knight's sword tightly held in the girl's hand. The dazzling and magnificent Knight's sword exuded an aura even more noble and sacred than the young girl herself.

So, it was definitely not an ordinary weapon.

Fang Li recalled the original work and successfully found the memory of this sword.

"A Holy Sword, huh?"

Once, in the world of "Hidan No Aria," Sherlock had left Fang Li the national treasure used by the Knight King in the United Kingdom's history, which Fang Li later returned to him.

However, that sword was merely a national treasure and did not possess any power.

But this sword was different.

Fang Li was certain that, in terms of power, this Holy Sword would not be weaker than Bo Xie in the slightest.

In other words, the opponent not only had reached the Fourth Rank but was also wielding a Third Rank weapon.

If they were to fight, Toudou Kirin might not be a match for this young girl.

Such a being indeed had the qualifications to block Fang Li.

Unaware of what Fang Li was thinking, the young girl only raised the Holy Sword in her hand.

"Clang…"

A wave of power carrying a sacred aura gently flowed from the Holy Sword.

Then, the girl spoke.

"Could you please surrender?"

It was an extremely sincere, almost pleading tone.

"I don't want to hurt you."

Her heartfelt words, combined with her incredibly cute face and a look of slight unease in her frank eyes, would surely soften anyone's heart.

For some reason, looking at this young girl, Fang Li was reminded of Emilia.

That silver-haired half-Spirit was similarly innocent and guileless, treating everyone with sincerity.

This young girl gave Fang Li the same feeling.

So, Fang Li smiled slightly and spoke.

"Sure."

His words made the girl's eyes light up. Unfortunately, the next moment, Fang Li shattered the hope that was about to emerge in her eyes.

"As long as you can touch me before the bodyguards arrive, I'll obediently surrender." Fang Li looked directly at the girl and spoke with a light laugh.

"That should be a pretty lenient condition, right? Belzerg-Stylish-Sword-Iris, the First Princess of the Belzerg Kingdom."

Fang Li's words made the girl named Iris slightly pause, and a look of hesitation and timidity appeared on her face.

However, Iris still raised her Holy Sword, her emerald-like eyes fixed tightly on Fang Li's body, and she spoke softly.

"If this is what it takes for you to surrender, then I have no choice but to do it."

As if to demonstrate Iris's determination, the Holy Sword in her hand began to emit a golden radiance.

The Princess of the Kingdom was bathed in the golden light, resembling a sacred Knight, extremely dazzling.

Gazing at this scene, Fang Li's empty hand was slightly clenched, and a pure white activation body immediately slipped into his hand.

Just as Fang Li was about to use Bo Xie, the sound of chaotic footsteps approached.

Both Fang Li and Iris heard the footsteps and one after another stopped their actions.

Almost at the same time, Claire and Rain, along with a large group of Knights, guards, and Mages, finally arrived in the room.

"Princess Iris!"

"Your Highness!"

The voices of Claire and Rang rang out.

Seeing this, Iris's gaze involuntarily shifted away from Fang Li's body.

At that moment, a rather helpless voice reached Iris's ears.

"In the end, you're still too young. How could you shift your gaze away from me at a time like this?"

As the voice fell, a shadow darted like an arrow through space, sweeping behind Iris.

"Eh?"

Iris finally reacted.

In the next second, before Iris could make any move, the Holy Sword in her hand was snatched away.

The waning moon dagger was pressed against Iris's neck, the cold sensation touching her skin.

"Iris!"

"Your Highness!"

Claire and Rain, who had just rushed into the room, gasped in unison at the sight.

The Knights, guards, and Mages froze in place, no longer daring to act recklessly.

"C-Claire…"

Iris felt a bit flustered.

Seeing this, Claire glared at Fang Li with gritted teeth, her eyes filled with fury as if she were looking at a sworn enemy.

"Let go of Princess Iris immediately!" Claire shouted. "You're holding the princess of a country; just that alone is enough to sentence you to death!"

"Please release Princess Iris," Rain urged, trying to maintain composure. "A barrier has already been set up outside the Royal Castle. You can't escape now. If you let her go, you might still have a chance for leniency."

This was a classic good cop-bad cop scenario.

Yet, Fang Li remained unfazed.

"Death sentence, unable to escape, quite frightening indeed." Fang Li smirked, leaving behind those words.

"Since that's the case, I'll wait until you manage to catch me and decide to sentence me to death before I plead for mercy."

With that, Fang Li effortlessly pulled the young princess into his embrace, and as she panicked, he dashed toward the open balcony, leaping out of the castle.

"Buzz————!"

With a humming sound in the air, an invisible barrier rose from outside the Royal Castle.

That was the barrier Rain had mentioned.

However, a blade of light suddenly appeared, slicing through the air.

"Bang————!"

With a sound like shattering glass, the barrier was cut apart and vanished.

"Iris!"

Claire's anguished cry echoed from within the Royal Castle.

In response, only a meteor-like figure soared into the sky, disappearing into the horizon.
