Fang Li's words clearly reached the Scarlet Blazing God. At that moment, her jewel-like crimson eyes shifted, and she pressed a hand against her chest as if something vital had been ripped away. Pain etched itself across her youthful, charming face.

Seeing Aria's familiar features twisted in agony, Fang Li could only remain silent.

Though his recent attack had been aimed directly at the Scarlet Blazing God's consciousness— using the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception to force her awareness toward death— it had no impact on Aria herself.

Yet that contorted expression still belonged to Aria, making it seem as though she was enduring immense suffering.

Fang Li tightened his grip on the Moonlight Dagger and the Bo Xie, which had magically returned to his hand, lost in thought.

Suddenly, the Scarlet Blazing God laughed.

"Haha…"

Her laughter lacked the previous arrogance and madness; instead, it sounded weak and fragile.

But she still laughed while her gaze remained firmly fixed on Fang Li.

"Irokane… one is all… all is one…"

With an increasingly frail voice, as if she were about to vanish, she whispered, "Even if 'I' die, 'I' will not disappear…"

After all, the Hidan embedded within Aria's body was merely a fragment of the Scarlet Blazing God.

Even if Fang Li killed Hidan's consciousness, the Scarlet Blazing God would still exist within the gemstone of Hihi'irokane, sealed away in Hotogi Shrine.

It was similar to the past Sabrac, whose main body was a massive, underground creature made of mud, while its usual activities were carried out by an avatar—the avatar was like a single hair. Even if it was killed, the main body would remain largely unaffected.

In the same way, Fang Li could eliminate Hidan's consciousness, but the gemstone of Hihi'irokane would still exist within Hotogi Shrine; that was the true essence of the Scarlet Blazing God.

"So… do not give me a chance…"

"Even if it takes hundreds of years… I will eventually return…"

With those words, the light in Scarlet Blazing God's eyes dimmed.

Finally, she closed her eyes.

"Hū…"

Steady breaths began to emanate from the small girl lying on the ground.

The look of pain on her face vanished as if it had never been there, leaving only a peaceful expression, serene and tranquil.

Seeing this, Fang Li understood.

Aria had returned.

Looking at Aria's serene sleeping face, Fang Li couldn't help but smile bitterly.

"Out of everyone, you must be the most at ease."

After saying this, Fang Li turned to look in Shirayuki's direction.

There, Shirayuki's exquisite face displayed a mix of emotions.

Excitement.

Relief.

Joy.

Gratitude.

In her hands, the Irokane Slayer, glowing with crimson light, gradually dimmed until it became utterly ordinary.

Regardless of the situation, one thing was certain:

Shirayuki had completed her mission.

"Huā lā lā…"

The sound of waves began to echo from a distance.

Fang Li turned once more, peering through the massive chasm toward the ocean.

He saw ships appearing on one side of the sea, while planes flew in from the sky toward this direction.

"Deen's reinforcements, huh?" Fang Li smirked as he looked at this scene.

"They're right on time, but don't expect me to run around anymore."

This was the truth.

Fang Li could see the outcome clearly now.

...

About half an hour later, Deen's reinforcements successfully entered the isolated island. Upon witnessing the scene before them, they fell into shock, one by one.

That was only to be expected.

The forest on the isolated island had completely turned into a sea of flames.

The corner of the beach had sunk entirely beneath the ocean.

On one part of the island, a massive chasm nearly cut through half of it, leading straight into the sea.

Such scenes would undoubtedly cause immense shock to every member of Deen who witnessed them.

This spectacle also conveyed a message to everyone: something significant had happened here.

They were likely too late.

"What on earth happened?"

Jeanne and Tamamo, responsible for leading the team, looked at the scene before them, their confusion reaching a peak.

When they led Deen's forces to the mountain, found the palace, and entered Grenada's stronghold, the sight that met their eyes left everyone staring at each other in blank dismay.

Whether it was Oni or Ranban, each one was covered in wounds and wrapped in bandages, making the entire stronghold resemble a refuge that had endured an intense battle.

In such circumstances, the only one who remained uninjured, Zhuge Jinghuan, stepped forward to address Deen's people.

"Ranban and Oni surrender and will join Deen from today onward."

This was a decision made out of necessity.

After all, both Ranban and Oni were severely wounded and had completely lost their ability to fight.

If they did not surrender at this moment, how could they possibly stand against the approaching forces of Deen?

Zhuge Jinghuan was indeed a straightforward character; he declared surrender and left with Jeanne to prepare for negotiations.

As for Tamamo, she was taken away by Shirayuki, likely needing to explain the events of the day to her.

It's worth noting that after Aria woke up, she seemed to understand what had transpired but remained silent throughout.

It appeared that even after being taken over by the Scarlet Blazing God, Aria was still aware of the entire situation.

"If Scarlet Blazing God had taken Aria to the Gemstone and completely transferred the main consciousness within the Gemstone to Aria's body, replacing Aria's soul, then Aria would have been doomed."

In other words, if Scarlet Blazing God had chosen to flee instead of fighting Fang Li, returning to her true form in Hotogi Shrine, then Aria would have been finished.

Thus, it could be said that Aria had narrowly escaped death.

Given this, it was easy to imagine the complex emotions that arose within her.

After all, she had been unaware until now.

Unaware that the Hidan she inherited was such a dangerous entity.

This left Aria feeling quite conflicted, especially since she had been determined to carry on Sherlock's legacy and become "Hidan's Aria."

In contrast, Reki comforted Aria.

"The madness in the wind around you is gone; you will no longer be possessed."

After speaking, Reki left, seemingly returning alone to Academy Island, disappearing from sight.

Conversely, Riko was entangled by Koko and the others, saying they had something to discuss, and stayed behind.

In the end, only Fang Li was nowhere to be seen from start to finish.
