I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 275: Does She have Enhancements?

"You two are finally back!" Veronica smiled with folded arms, staring at the both of them and found that Lillian was giving her a strange and surprised look.

The girl glanced towards her student ID that was still found in Marionette's hand and then towards her mother.

'How did she get in here without the card?'

She then thought back to the colosseum, remembering how she left her own mother behind with Millis. Had the Heroine somehow assisted her mother in entering the dorm room?

"How did you get in here, mom?"

Veronica blinked at her daughter before raising her finger with a cunning light in her eyes.

"Just a little turning on the door, and I got let in. But I won't go into much detail since I had almost set off an alarm getting in here."

The bottom of Lillian's right eye twitched at her mother's way of entering her dorm room.

"S-so... You broke in here?"

"You can consider it a break-in. But I'm allowed.. And it wasn't completely my fault that I had to resort to that..." Her mother then folded her arms, staring at Lillian scoldingly.

"You're the one that left me behind to be with your girlfriend. Honestly, you really are lovestrucked aren't you?"

The woman raised her hands to her face, acting sad as she wiped away the imaginary tears that crawled down her face.

Lillian gave her a deadpan expression before sighing, finding that what she said was correct. She did leave to go meet up with Marionette.

She then heard her mother say something else:

"Do you enjoy being in your girlfriend's arms?"

"Hm?"

Lillian found her mother staring at her, particularly at the arms wrapped underneath her body that held her up. She was still in the princess carry.

"I-it wasn't my idea! I woke up like this!"

"So, you got your girlfriend to carry you all the way here after she had just got done with her match? Honestly, Lillian! You're so high-maintenance."

A look of shock shot across her face as though she had been electrified by her own mother's words.

High maintenance? Her? She was far from being high-maintenance. In fact, the woman carrying her was far more high-maintenance than she could ever be.

Lillian quickly flashed her attention back to the Assassin carrying her, finding the woman smiling down on her as she was being wronged.

"Yes, Lillian. Why are you so high-maintenance? It truly is tiring taking care of you~..." Marionette stated, clearly playing around with Lillian, who stared at her with a pout.

"Not you too!"

***

After enjoying an evening of dinner, all three had taken their place on the couch, watching as the TV displayed an edited replay of Marionette's match that showcased her best moments.

Which...

It was all of her moments outside of searching for the way towards the crystal. In one of the clips, Lillian quite liked the way Marionette leapt off of the building.

She found it cool, especially the way she passed through a storm of swords before eliminating the winged man, who had pierced through her stomach.

After watching for a bit more, Lillian got up to go to the restroom. It was also at this moment that Marionette had decided to ask something of the woman beside her.

"Miss Veronica, could I ask you something about your daughter."

Veronica, who was fully engaged in watching the display on the TV, turned towards the black-haired woman beside her. She nodded and asked her to speak.

Marionette, seeing that she was allowed, asked in a calm but curious voice:

"During her infant or toddler years, have you and your husband ever done any surgeries of enhancement on her body?"

Veronica, at her question, slowly widened her eyes at the question. She then slowly narrowed them, finding it to be a rather suspicious question. But, she soon put that suspicion in the back of her mind.

Her daughter's girlfriend was trustworthy, from what she saw.

However, she had to ask:

"Could I ask why before answering?"

Marionette stared at her silently, briefly closing her eyes as she thought about how to respond to the mother's question.

How could she word it so that it didn't feel like she was prying too much into the family's private affairs?

"I have found that Lillian is oddly capable of dealing with new kinds of stimulants well and having a very strong mind about things. I just speculated she had some sort of enhancement on her brain but was unaware about such change."

Marionette also remembered what Lillian had said to her earlier. How had she somehow remembered what had happened even though the memory-wiping device cleared it from her mind?

Some kind of protection from an Item? Or was it an enhancement like she's theorising?

"Uh, huh... And what kind of flaw would you think that my daughter would have then?" Veronica smirked before adding:

"If you think my daughter really does have any sort of enhancements, what do you think her flaw is then?"

Marionette raised a hand to her own chin, stroking it in thought as she wondered something along the lines of, "What could be her girlfriend's flaw?"

From what she saw, she acted like a normal person by her standards. Or could it be something visual like hers? Or could it be her inconsistent personality around lots of people?

Veronica, finding the woman in deep thought, leaned back on the couch and cleared things up.

"Me and my husband hadn't given her any kind of surgeries regarding enhancements. Don't worry." She giggled, causing the Assassin's face to relax,

"I see... Well, I hope that wasn't a problem to answer. I just wished to know more about your daughter, even her inner workings. Anything that makes her Lillian. That's all."

Veronica widened her eyes at the woman's confession, finding it to be extremely heart-warming.

Holding a right hand over her chest and leaning the side of her face into her raised left palm, she stated with an incredulous expression:

"Oh my, even I may begin falling for you. Lillian sure has got lucky to meet someone like you to take care of her."

The corners of Marionette's lips curled up at her words.

"I'm taken, but thank you for the compliment." She then went silent before adding an extremely warm smile, "And Lillian is the luckiest and most unique person I've ever met thus far."
