I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 157: Second Layer of the Forest of Disruption? [18]

"Eh?" Lillian froze. "What do you mean by that?" She asked in confusion. But she was left without an answer, for Marionette had gone silent.

But she did get a response, though, although not verbally.

Lillian felt Marionette's arms, around her waist, tighten their hold on her to a... Frightening degree.

Pat. Pat. Pat.

Lillian patted her head with a shaky smile, "H-hey...! I know you like doing this, but it's getting a bit tight no—"

She then shivered as she felt Marionette shuffle around. The Assassin slowly left her neck and moved towards Lillian's ear, brushing against it deliberately.

Just like what Lillian did to her, she blew hot air into hers, causing her to shiver. She then called out her name in a breathy voice:

"Lillian..."

"Y-yeah?"

Marionette then went silent for a moment before whispering in an almost possessive tone:

"... You are... Mine, right?"

"E-eh...?" Lillian was left stunned by her words. What on Earth was this woman talking about and so suddenly, too?! Was this another one of her flirts? If it is, it's quite different from previous ones.

"Ehh..." Lillian hummed, "In what sense?" She asked.

"... Let's say... as friends."

"Huh? Oh yeah, I am your friend, definitely." Lillian chuckled. She then said, "Man... I thought you meant something entirely different."

She then watched as Marionette left her ear. She then felt her arms leave her waist. Her hands that were stroking the Assassin's head were then pulled off and placed to the side as their fingers interlocked.

She then felt the Assassin lift herself from her body. No longer lying on top of her.

Although the inside of the tent was dim, she could still see Marionette's beautiful red eyes staring down at her intensely.

"Something... different?" Marionette asked, interrogating her a bit. Lillian also felt her chess press against hers, almost as though it was intentional.

"Well, uh... Its nothing." Lillian shook her head.

"... I see... Could you... answer another one of my questions?"

"Sure?" Lillian tilted her head. She wasn't sure why, but... she was beginning to feel a bit uneasy under Marionette's gaze.

The raven-haired woman pulled her hands away from Lillian's, "In general..." And cupped her face, tilting it up a bit.

She then brushed her thumbs against her cheeks, stroking them. "Are you mine...?" She then leaned down, placing her forehead against Lillian's, whose eyes seemed to widen at her words.

"P-pardon...?"

"... You heard me. Now... are you?"

"I-I... still don't understand the question. Hehe..." Lillian giggled nervously.

"... 'Are you mine, in general?' That's my question." She repeated, clutching her face even tighter.

"T-that's... Are you being serious, right now?" Lillian asked, extremely confused and... a bit concerned now.

Was she really asking what she was thinking? There was no way, right?

However, she was left wrong as she saw Marionette's frown at her words. She... was being serious, right now.

And this... didn't seem to be some common flirt she could play off.

Her heart thrummed, threatening to beat out of her chest at the realisation. She then chuckled nervously.

"H-hey... Is this just another way for you to assert dominance~?" Lillian cooed.

Marionette then watched as Lillian cupped her cheeks as well. She glanced at the hands and leaned into them before looking back at her.

Lillian stared with fake confidence and said, "To think you would so bluntly ask me such a thing~!" She giggled. "So what would happen if I said no then?"

"... Excuse me?"

Lillian watched as Marionette's frown grew bigger and her brows furrowed. Ah... maybe she shouldn't have said that.

She then watched as Marionette sat on her waist, staring down at her coldly. "I didn't hear you correctly, it seems. Do repeat that."

The inside of the tent became chilly and worryingly dark compared to before.

"H-hey! I was just joking, alright!" Lillian held up her hands, shakingly. "I didn't mean what I said."

"... Oh? Is that so..." Marionette narrowed her eyes, her tone going low and intimidating, "... Then what are you going to answer with? And do think carefully about your answer... my patience is... not as it used to be, right now."

Lillian felt a drop of sweat run down her cheek. She gave a shaky smile and said to calm Marionette's nerves:

"I-I'm yours, alright? Hehe..." She laughed anxiously as Marionette continued to stare at her sceptically.

"In general...?" Marionette briefly added.

"Uhum! Yep! Definitely, in general." Lillian gave a frantic, quick nod.

At her words, Marionette's frown turned into a smile. "I see... good. That's good." She then leaned over and moved her face back into the crook of Lillian's neck.

"That's really good..." Marionette hummed as she nuzzled against her neck.

Lillian breathed a sigh of relief, letting out the breath she was holding in the entire time. She then glanced at Marionette.

It seems that even Marionette doesn't take rejections well either.

After a while, Lillian spoke up, "I think we should go make the fire. Can you let me up?"

"... No." Marionette briefly answered, leading Lillian to smile at her wryly.

"And why not?"

"Because I don't want us to get up."

"It's going to get cold..."

"That's fine."

Marionette moved her head out of Lillian's neck. She then rested the side of her face on her chest, using them as pillows, while staring her in the eyes.

She then said in an abnormally upbeat tone, "We can just sleep together like this. In each other's arms. Just like what we did in the Trial." Her voice then went deep, "That isn't an issue, right?"

"W-well..." Lillian turned her face away, slightly embarrassed. "It's definitely not an issue, but... I'm getting kind of hungry, Mari..."

Marionette listened to what she had to say and sighed. It has been a while since they've eaten.

"I suppose... Hm? Did you call me Mari?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, I did. I just thought I'd give you a little petname."

"Pet... name? Are you referring to me as... your pet?" Marionette raised an eyebrow.
