I Will Conquer The World!

"WHAT?!", three of the demon kings shouted at the same time. The kings of Veolomid, Allmamath, and Xalgraur all shouted out of surprise.

They had differing opinions, though. The king of Veolomid, Gerozan, thought that the grand ancestor was just joking, or that he heard him wrong. He just couldn't accept or digest the fact that the humans had gotten so strong.

The kings of Allmamath and Xalguar did not know what to feel as they were just purely shocked. They did not bother to participate much in the last meeting, and just knocked off the cause of the meeting as the grand ancestor over reacting. They generally just wanted peace and were satisfied with the amount of territory they currently had. Unless the witches intentionally attacked them, the two kings did not launch war on them.

They just wanted peace. It was as simple as that. That is why they did not participate much in the last meeting. They found no reason to. If what they thought was true, and the grand ancestor was over reacting, then there would be no harm. The grand ancestor, Sigrar and Veolomid would destroy them or do something. There would be no reason for them to interfere in the matter.

If what the grand ancestor said turned out to be true, and that the humans had really become so powerful, they would just form a truce with them. The grand ancestor did order them to form peace with the humans anyway. It would make absolutely no difference to them.

The king of Duigruzar, Sigrar, stared at the grand ancestor thoughtfully. Unlike the other three, he was not surprised by what the grand ancestor had announced. He was prepared for both the outcomes. He asked the grand ancestor with a solemn expression, "Grand ancestor... how many causalities did the both sides have? How much did the humans demand for releasing the war prisoners?"

The grand ancestor looked at the king of Duigruzar with a small smile before saying, "The kingdom of Shusite has been completely destroyed. No citizen of Shusite remains alive. As for causalities on the humans side... we still don't know."

The king of Duigruzar's eyes widened as he looked at the grand ancestor with utter fear clouded in his eyes. He received the answers that he wanted from the grand ancestors words. 

The humans were so ruthless as to massacre a whole kingdom!? He also understood that all the war prisoners must have been slaughtered like pigs too. 

After all, who would they demand a ransom from if they massacred the whole of Shusite? And anyway, after being that ruthless as to massacre a whole kingdom, they definitely would not let the witch soldiers remain alive.

The king of Duigruzar felt an extremely bad feeling arise in his gut as a question popped into his mind.

Who are the demons here? Them or us? They always visualized and projected the demons as some dark monsters that came out from the depths of hell and would do anything and everything to please itself right?

Going by that definition, the humans are 'demons' too, aren't they?

[Author sighs and says, "Editor - san, gimme some more ideas... what do I do?! I have got to somehow increase the word count. Like give me a good idea, won't you? All you do is complain all day about this and that. Gimme an idea and prove that your useful and not just a baggage who keeps remarking that the male lead is too cruel when this is supposed to be a story that has an 'anti hero mc' tag!"

The editor growled, "I don't complain unreasonably! Some of the things you add are so unreasonable! But I'll excuse that as this story is supposed to have an evil male lead. But now, you've taken it too far in the rewrite. I mean for goodness's sake, four children who are cannibals?! The leader of the holy church is evil?! I mean come on! You also told me that you plan to make most of the characters lay in the gray area!"

The author sighed and said, "I have no time for arguing over petty matters like these with you Editor - san. Just give me an idea to increase the word count. Nothing less, nothing more."

The Editor put his chin in his hand and entered deep thinking mode and says, "I have an idea, but isn't increasing the word count like this cheating the readers? And also, start appreciating your editor more. I'm doing this for free you know?"

Author sighs and says, "Of course not. I'll be writing the rewritten version too right? So they'll get double the content if they unlock this one chapter. The first one being the old version one and then the new one with cannibalism and all." 

He completely ignored what the editor said about appreciating him more.

Editor smiles and says, "Well that's more fair I guess. So, maybe you can add a long lengthy authors note that you remove when you write the rewritten version?"

Author smiles guilty, "Yes... that's the only way. I'll definitely remove it afterwards and give them quality stuff... I mean I'm forced to do this now because I have boards, [a very important test in India ] , and have to prepare for it while preparing for the monthly exams they keep... so I'm not really free till June 10th."

Editor whistles, "Damn. That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I have these monthly tests to prepare for, and like boards are considered like a divine test in India. There are students who suicide upon failing them and all.", the author says while sighing.]

Please read the story from the start again. I'm rewriting it. I assure you it'll be good (pats chest). Like I'm including stuff like a secret group of assassins for Harry, and all. I'm also thinking of including a function like scope of personality that will give him powers to examine all his citizens and kill those who are not loyal [Grins evilly and scarily.]

Gimme your Power Stones, please! I'm not getting many good features, and it may help if I enter the top 200. The 199th novel has like 380 Power stones, so gimme 400!

The last time I checked, a piracy website was letting people read my first 59 free chapters, which were of the old version. Yeah also since I rewrote the first fifty nine chapters, you can just read them. If you like that version, then follow it, or just follow this old version. But I have to warn you, in that version, Robinson and Lauren are killed by Harry, three new characters are introduced, and Harry is much, much more scheming.

All in all, to wrap things up nicely for this chapter, thank you to all my readers. I appreciate your support and love you show to my book. Even your hate helps me improve. I admit, this is not the best book. But, I am trying my best to at least make it into a memorable experience for all you readers. I sincerely hope you read the book from the start again, as there are lots of surprises waiting to be discovered. Yeah so just read from the start you know?
