I Will Conquer The World!

He laughed awkwardly and said, "I was obviously just joking with ya. I called you because of this aura I feel! It's of a system users!"

"A system users?", the masked figure gasped.

"Yes, a system users.", the old man said with an internal sigh of relief that he had successfully distracted her attention from his previous shenanigans.

The masked figure had several thoughts flashing through her mind. A system user? Why is one here? What is their current power? Can she defeat them? 

She groaned internally as she sincerely wished she had her previous powers granted by her system which she forcibly removed.

If only... if only her powers were not taken away along with the system... her life would be much much easier.

She asked with slight hope in her voice, "How powerful is the system user?"

The old man didn't really know if the extremely powrful tracking spell that had disrupted his spell was cast by the system or the user.

He sighed and said, "I don't know. A tracking spell was used which was extremely powerful, but I don't know who cast it, the system or the user."

She sighed. She then said, "Wait. I'll go personally check how powerful they are."

"Won't the system detect you and alert the user?", the old man asked with confusion.

"Of course not. To the systems, we users are nothing but toys. As far as I know, no system will give a s**t if the user dies or not. At most it'll just toy with him while he's dying, by giving the option to buy extremely costly usables to save his life, which the user won't be able to afford.", she said while laughing.

The old man was shocked. He asked, "W- why? A- aren't the users meant to be partners to the systems? Why d- do that?"

The masked figure responded to his question with slight hesitation, "I guess it won't hurt to tell you. The systems are nothing but chains over the users who are like slaves to the gods. The gods use them for developing worlds which they are too lazy to do themselves. When the gods get bored, they make the system users fight amongst themselves to death. 

The systems... no one knows what they are. But the only way the systems can stay active are by allocating missions to the poor souls who were chosen."

The old man asked with widened eyes, "A- aren't the gods meant to be good?!"

The masked figure laughed softly and said, "What is good? What is evil? Aren't they all our perceptions? We think and believe that the gods are good and will help us out of our troubles. Why? Isn't that just too let out mind rest at ease? That no matter if we become completely lonely we will still have that one person with us? Is it not to let our mind rest at ease when there are troubles that look impossible to get out of?"

She looked at him and upon receiving no reply from the old man who was staring at her blankly, she continued, "Haven't you noticed that every single religion always has the concept of afterlife? Why? Isn't it just to make us feel assured that after we die it isn't just a dark and blank void, without conciousness, without anything for ages beyond waiting for us?"

The old man looked at her and was going to say something when she continued, "Don't give me bullsh*t like gods have created us and given us life. It's my parents that I have to be thankful for that. Not the gods. They only created the first batch of humans for entertainment. They did not expect that we would actually spread out by this much."

The old man just stared at her blankly, not able to say anything as what she said made sense, yet his heart rejected it with all its might.

"If the gods actually treated us all equally, then why are there some people who are born rich, talented and respected, whereas some people are born poor, talentless and as underdogs?", the masked figure barked.

The old man stuttered out a few words quickly before she continued, "It's because of the sins they com-"

"SHUT THE F**K UP! NO ONE IS BORN EVIL! THEY'RE TURNED INTO THAT WAY! THE POWERLESS COMITS SINS TO CHANGE HIS LIFE AND GAIN POWER! TO NOT FEEL THAT HELPLESS AND POWERLESS! THE RICH ANS POWERFUL COMITS SINS WITH THE ASSURANCE THAT THEY WON'T BE PUNISHED!", she shouted at the top of her lungs, after which she breathed heavily while clenching her fists.

The old man was surprised by her sudden outburst and had quickly laid noise proofing barriers as soon as she started shouting. Luckily, due to his quick actions, he was able to prevent her shouts from echoing through the whole cave.

Before he could say anything though, she said in a soft voice, "If the gods are really good.... why can't they make a world where everyone is equal? They're almighty right? Why can't they insert good morals into the equal world and people's minds? They're almighty aren't they?!" 

Authors Note :

This whole chapter is in respect with that world, not ours. So please don't go scolding me or spamming things that gods from your religion have stated. This was her opinion. Purely her opinion. About that world and it's gods.

[Author sighs and says, "Editor - san, gimme some more ideas... what do I do?! I gotta increase the word count.

Editor puts his chin in his hand and enters deep thinking mode and says, "I have an idea, but isn't increasing the word count like this cheating the readers?"

Author sighs and says, "Of course not. I'll be writing the rewritten version too right? So they'll get double the content if they unlock this one chapter. The first one being the old version one and then the new one with cannibalism and all."

Editor smiles and says, "Well that's more fair I guess. So, maybe you can add a long lengthy authors note that you remove when you write the rewritten version?"

Author smiles guilty, "Yes... that's the only way. I'll definitely remove it afterwards and give them quality stuff... I mean I'm forced to do this now because I have boards, [a very important test in India ] , and have to prepare for it while preparing for the monthly exams they keep... so I'm not really free till June 10th."

Editor whistles, "Deym. That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I have these monthly tests to prepare for, and like boards are considered like a divine test in India. There are students who suicide upon failing them and all.", the author says while sighing.]

Please read the story from the start again. I'm rewriting it. I assure you it'll be good (pats chest). Like I'm including stuff like a secret group of assassins for Harry, and all. I'm also thinking of including a function like scope of personality that will give him powers to examine all his citizens and kill those who are not loyal [Grins evilly and scarily.]
