Chapter 387: Terracryst Sovereign
Logan had countless creatures under his command now, so many that he didn't always have time to get to know them all, especially the ones that came as groups. What he stood before now was one of the largest clusters to ever join him, rivaled only by the earthen moles.
His earthen-elemental ants.
There were actually three types among them, but Logan's attention was focused on the one whose stats he was reviewing now—the queen.

Name: Obscidia / Species: Obsidian Hive Queen / Level: 80 / Blood Mark: Right Forearm / Loyalty: 79/100
────༺༻────
Quake Dominion:
Obscidia slams all six legs into the ground, channeling massive earth energy to cause widespread seismic ruptures. The terrain becomes fractured, staggering enemies and slowing their movements. Allies on stable ground receive a temporary boost to earth resistance and stability.
Imperial Carapace (Passive):
Obscidia's obsidian armor has fully matured into a layered hive shell, providing massive resistance to physical, piercing, and elemental attacks. Reflects 10% of melee damage and auto-repairs slowly when stationary.
Hiveborn Mandate:
As Queen, Obscidia can call forth lesser obsidian ant minions from underground tunnels. These drones act autonomously but can be coordinated through Obscidia's will, allowing for tactical swarming, flanking, or shielding maneuvers.
Titan's Clasp:
Reinforced mandibles coated in crystalline obsidian allow Obscidia to clamp down with devastating force, capable of crushing through magic shields and siege-class armor. If the enemy is below 30% HP, this attack can cause instant incapacitation.
Burrowed Throne:
Obscidia sinks into the earth, becoming immobile but massively enhancing her defensive stats and regenerating rapidly. While submerged, she channels command signals across the battlefield, increasing ally coordination, critical resistance, and reaction speed.
Cataclysm March:
Obscidia leads a slow, ominous charge that triggers tremors with every step. Each tremor inflicts stacking debuffs on nearby enemies, lowering their attack speed, spell concentration, and balance. Allies behind her are shielded by her aura.

Queen's Command (Ability):
Obscidia can transmit a powerful psychic pulse through her antennae, granting up to 12 allies a 25% boost in accuracy, evasion, and mana focus for 10 seconds. During this time, all ant-type minions fight with perfect synchronization and immunity to crowd control effects.

Her colony was now three hundred strong, most of them tirelessly working underground, digging a massive tunnel between the biome and the Earthen Temple. Their stamina made rest unnecessary—they labored day and night without pause.
Logan wasn't sure what role they would play in the long term. For now, he simply kept their numbers in check. He didn't want the colony growing beyond its current scale, not without a purpose. So far, the queen—Obscidia—had followed his orders without question.
But the ants had their own instincts.
They had begun cultivating something in the tunnels—a new fungus-like creatures grew which Logan tamed for the sake of feeding his ants. These fed on the soil and enriched it, and somehow let mana integrate far better. The ants fed on these mushrooms, and in turn, those same mushrooms supported the growth of the colony that lived in peace.
It was a delicate cycle—one he had no intention of interrupting. As long as it kept both sides thriving, he would let it continue.
They were just one of many species now thriving within his growing kingdom. Creatures that had begun forming new cycles of life—ecosystems built not by nature, but by Logan's hand.
But neither were the creatures the ones he needed right now.
Logan stood near the border of the burrow plains, waiting.
Waiting for Silis.
She had gone out to hunt. Like many of his larger creatures, she required sustainable food sources, and Logan had taken that into account. Specially bred deer, matched to her immense size, now roamed wild through designated lands. These deer were not truly wild, though—they were spiritual followers of one of his other beasts, tied to the kingdom but not yet directly under his command.
It was a delicate balance. One Logan would have to replicate many times over.
Scorch was another—his hunger alone could devastate lesser habitats. Logan was already designing an entire biome just to keep the Prima Tyrannosaurus Rex satisfied.
[Will arrive soon!]
Silis's voice cut through the link—excited, proud, and brimming with energy. She was eager. Eager to return to battle. Eager to be by her master's side.
Logan smiled.
That thrill… the need to grow, to face stronger foes… it was something his creatures had inherited from him, whether through their bonds or sheer proximity to his ambition to protect his own against the demons.
[Are you done eating?] he asked.
[Yes. Will go days without food now. Need to work to digest—want new challenge!]
Then she arrived.
Bursting forth from a tunnel above the lair's entrance, her massive frame erupted from the earth like a living avalanche. Logan instinctively stepped back—not in fear, but in awe.
He had expected to see the overgrown serpent she once was, her amber scales and basilisk fangs slithering, but in a larger form.
But instead, he saw limbs.
Four of them.
A powerful, lizard-like body, broad-chested and covered in crystalline amber plating, and full of large spikes and scales half his size. She now stood where a monstrous snake once reigned. The aura she radiated wasn't just intense—it was a draconic bloodline.
A presence equal to Cindra, Wyver, and even Drakhel.
Logan's breath caught in his throat.
[Silis… you're a dragon now?]
He spoke through the link, but the emotion in his tone shone through easily. It wasn't just shock—it was excitement, enough to make his hands tremble slightly.
Silis didn't answer right away.
Instead, she charged forward—not slithering as before, but running, the ground trembling under her weight. She reached him in moments, lowering her armored head until it touched his palm.
Logan reached out with his other hand, already pulling up her status window.
He had avoided spoiling the surprise before.
Now he had to know what she'd become.
And the numbers that appeared on the screen nearly made him laugh aloud.
"Three over a one hundred, not even I had that many."

Amber Pikes:
Silis summons massive amber-coated spikes from beneath the battlefield. These sharpened pillars strike with tremendous force, tracking enemy movement and staggering targets. Enemies hit suffer reduced armor for 5 seconds due to embedded crystal shards.
Basilisk Tyrant's Glare:
An enhanced cone-shaped petrification attack. Enemies below 50% HP begin to crystallize into amber over 3 seconds. Those resistant suffer severe slowing and defense debuff. Can be used twice per battle and ignores fear immunity.
Crystal Quake Surge:
Silis stomps with immense force, sending waves of fissures in three pulses. Each pulse causes knockdown and interrupts spellcasting. The final pulse erupts upward into amber shard pillars, impaling grounded or stunned foes.
Crown Barrage: Amber Spearfield:
A deadly barrage of earth arrays that release nine amber-tipped spears per zone. Pierces armor and leaves behind shard traps that detonate after a short delay. Enemies slain by this skill explode into obsidian fragments, damaging nearby units.
Terra Eruption:
The battlefield fractures violently in expanding rings of force. Eruptions deal high damage and repel enemies outward. Magical terrain is destabilized, and barriers are disrupted. Excellent for opening or closing battlefield gaps.
Abilities:
Amber Bastion (Passive + Active):
Silis's body is reinforced with an adaptive amber plating. Every 45 seconds, she may block one major hit (physical or magical). If the barrier breaks, it explodes outward, reflecting 20% of the damage in a concussive blast.
Heart of Amber (Passive):
Silis absorbs ambient earth mana to regenerate health over time. If stationary and underground for 10 seconds, she rapidly heals 25% of her HP. During this regeneration, she becomes immune to crowd-control effects, and her armor density increases.
Burrow Sovereign
Silis can tunnel through terrain at speeds rivaling flight. While underground, she is untargetable by most ranged and AoE attacks and gains tremor sense, allowing her to detect hidden or cloaked enemies. She may erupt into combat from below with enhanced damage and momentum.
