As soon as everyone finished eating, the room fell into silence.
All eyes turned to Logan.
The conversation with Yui had already taken place earlier — quietly and privately. She had agreed to be tamed, not out of affection, but for her own reasons.
She wanted power.
Specifically, enough strength to one day surpass her brother, Ren, with whom she'd always competed.
The moment the drops of Logan's blood touched her pinky finger, her entire body tensed.

"Yui told me to restrain you if you lost it. She asked for this. She's not in danger — she's just feeling the usual pain from the class-bound taming process."
Ren froze, conflicted and confused.
Claire walked past him and stood beside Logan.
She had in these short days grown used to the benefits of being one of Logan's tamed.
Her stats had improved by nearly 20% across the board. Her body, once barely above normal human standards, was now far more refined — stronger, faster, tougher.
And it was only the beginning.
Seeing Scorch's new form recently reminded her of that.
Once a mid-sized raptor, it was now nearly five or six times its former size.
She knew the truth: the longer one remained under Logan's bond, the more they evolved — physically and spiritually.
Like the others before her, Yui underwent noticeable changes the moment the bond was completed.

She wasn't suddenly on par with Lisa or Alma, but she was no longer flat either. At the very least, she could finally compare herself to Marie, and that alone made her smile.

Outside, Ren's patience was already cracking.
"You better not try what you've done with the other girls to my sister, Logan," he growled, jaw clenched.
"I respect everything you've done for us, but I won't allow you to play with her."
He stared hard at the boy beside him — waiting for an excuse, for even the smallest reaction.
Logan didn't offer one.
He simply looked back, calm and unshaken, the weight of experience behind his silence.
"I don't play, Ren," he said at last, voice steady.
"I never have. Everything I've gained... it's because I've stayed true to who I am."
He paused for a moment, then added:
"As for your sister — we've barely spoken before today. I doubt she sees me that way. And even if she did... I've never forced anyone to do anything. Not once."
There was nothing more to explain.
He didn't need to convince anyone — not anymore.
The people who loved him already knew the truth.
And that was enough.
"Fine, well I hope she gained at least something from all this, I know you did." Ren sighed, he knew that all the skills Logan gained where from his tamed, he would be able to copy Yui's skill, that was why she was suggested to become his tamed.
As her sibling Ren was kind of mad knowing the balance of power between the two was broke, he would now struggle to keep up with his sister and even thought about asking Logan to do the same for him but he gave up on it. He was not that petty and he also had his own pride.
Logan on the other hand smiled looking at the skills of the girl to check what he would use in the coming infiltration mission in the Kingdom of Elris.
