I Took A Succubus's First Time

Chapter 309: Kouhei Faction Vs. Souichiro Faction, Part 5

Satoshi exploded toward Kyouka in a wild, reckless dash, his movement so sudden and savage it felt like the air itself tore apart around him.

The speed was insane.

He was almost impossible to follow, like a blur that danced on the edge of her vision.

But Kyouka didn't just stand there without a plan.

Because for her, facing someone who fought without control—throwing themselves forward in pure, unhinged aggression—was something she could handle. It gave her more to read as well as more mistakes to catch and more moments to punish.

It wasn't some innate demon ability.

It was a skill that was honed over years of blood, sweat, and survival with her gaze sharpened to see flaws where others would see chaos. And if she could find that single moment—that thin, invisible string that connected her strike to her opponent's fall—she could end it.

Kyouka's eyes stayed locked on Satoshi, following every unpredictable twitch and slash. His speed was so vicious, sometimes she felt her heart lurch just trying to keep up. Yet her breath stayed calm and her blade ready. She blocked every wild strike and sparks flaring where steel bit against steel.

"How dare you call me not funny?! Have you even seen my face?! My face is fucking funny! I'm nothing but funny! How dare youuuu?!"

His voice cracked into madness, spit flying, eyes wide with something close to insanity.

Kyouka still didn't get why that insult rattled him so badly—but maybe it was something buried deep in what he was. He was a demon jester, whose entire pride twisted around that single word.

Her eyes kept darting, every muscle in her body coiled tight, trying to catch that tiny glimpse of weakness.

But Satoshi's movement was so rabid that the moment a string shimmered into sight, it vanished before she could act.

She realized she'd have to go beyond reacting. She'd have to predict where the next string would appear before it even did.

She pushed forward, but Satoshi refused to let up, driving her back step by step, his presence pressing in like a storm.

He was ruthless and his erratic swings whistling inches from her skin.

Piss this guy off, and it really could be the death of you.

All around her, she saw flickers of strings, openings so fleeting they might as well have been illusions. No matter how hard she focused, they dissolved before she could move.

The pressure was suffocating.

Yet even with adrenaline pounding in her ears, Kyouka's heart stayed steady. Her mind stayed sharp.

She didn't panic. Didn't lose focus. Even as her arms shook from each impact, she kept blocking and kept breathing.

"How's this, huh?!"

Satoshi's face twisted into something monstrous as he kept slashing, each hit slamming into her guard and sending vibrations rattling up through her bones.

"Ahhhhhh~! You think you can get away with telling me I'm not funny?! Huh?! You're fucking not getting away with it! You're gonna regret ever saying that to me!" he shrieked, his voice breaking into a feral roar.

Kyouka's teeth clenched, every block sending jarring pain through her arms—but her eyes stayed locked as she was still searching.

I just need the right opening. she told herself, forcing her pulse to steady, her breathing to stay even.

Then, behind Satoshi's back… she caught it.

A single, razor-thin chance—a string hanging in the chaos, glowing in her sight like a thread of fate. It shouldn't have been there because nothing should've caused it. But Satoshi's madness had opened a hole, even if just for a heartbeat.

Kyouka made her move, a split-second gamble that could end with her death. She dropped her guard completely, pulling her sword away and leaving her chest wide open.

Satoshi lunged, wild and gleeful, slashing in a wide arc, convinced he'd landed the finishing blow.

But Kyouka twisted to the side, letting his blade cut nothing but air—and in that flash of movement, she locked her gaze on the string.

'Found it!'

The opening was wide, so painfully obvious now that she'd seen it.

With every muscle screaming, Kyouka swung her sword—a clean, precise slash powered by everything she had left.

Steel met flesh, the impact ringing in her bones.

"Agh!"

Satoshi's eyes widened, realization dawning too late. He jerked his head, trying to escape—but the blade had already found its mark.

A ragged, deep gash opened across his neck, blood erupting in a thick, violent spray that soaked the ground. His head lolled, almost tearing from his shoulders.

"What… What the…?"

His voice came out broken, breath gurgling with blood as his hand shot up to clutch his ruined throat.

Blood poured between his fingers, soaking his clothes, and his head hung grotesquely—barely held by flesh and sinew, the cut so deep it had nearly severed him completely.

Satoshi staggered back, clutching his torn neck, eyes wide with shock and rage. Blood kept spilling through his trembling fingers, hot and steaming against the cold air.

"Hhhkk—gh… you…!" he wheezed, voice ragged, bubbling with blood.

Kyouka didn't stop to watch him suffer. Her blade, slick with his blood, trembled only for a moment in her grip before she tightened her hold, her breathing rough and fast. Her chest burned with exhaustion, but her eyes stayed locked on him.

Satoshi's face twisted—half from pain, half from hatred. His head drooped to the side, nearly falling, but somehow he kept it on.

"Ah… ahhhh…!"

With a guttural growl, Satoshi lurched forward. His foot slammed into the ground—THUD—kicking up broken gravel and black ash.

Kyouka shifted her stance, boots grinding against the scorched earth as she prepared for his next wild rush.

"You fucking bitch…!" Satoshi spat, blood dripping from his mouth, voice hoarse and monstrous. "I'll fucking kill you…!"

He lunged again, faster than she expected for someone half-decapitated, his blade whistling through the air.

CLANG!

Steel slammed against steel, the clash sharp enough to spark light in the dim battlefield. The shock rattled through Kyouka's arms, making her bones feel like they might splinter.

She gritted her teeth, breath tearing from her lungs in ragged gasps—haa… haa…

Satoshi didn't stop. His head dangled grotesquely as he forced himself forward, one slash, then another.

Each time, Kyouka's arms jolted from the impact, the metal vibrating against her palms. Sweat stung her eyes, but she refused to blink.

"D-die… die… DIEEEE!" Satoshi's voice rose into a cracked, animalistic screech, flecks of blood spraying with every word.

Kyouka caught his next wild swing with the flat of her blade but the sheer force made her boots slide back across the dirt.

Her heartbeat pounded in her ears, fast and heavy, but her gaze stayed cold and locked onto his twisted, bloody face.

Then, in his frenzy, she saw it again.

It was another string. Barely there. Flickering like a dying ember.

"Now…" she breathed out under her breath—hsss—voice low, eyes narrowing.

She twisted her body, letting his blade scrape past her side, pain biting into her ribs but not deep enough to stop her.

Her blade shot forward, aiming straight at his exposed torso.

SHUNK!

The steel bit into flesh, sliding between bone, blood spraying hot and thick across her face.

"Ggh—K-Kuhhh!" Satoshi choked, his body jerking violently as the blow landed.

Kyouka pulled her sword back with a wet, sucking sound, blood dripping off the blade's tip and soaking into the scorched ground below.

But Satoshi still stood with him swaying, his breath rattling and gurgling through the ruin of his throat.

"F-F-FUCK YOUUU…!" he gargled, spitting blood and saliva, his head almost falling forward as he took a clumsy step.

Kyouka's chest heaved, sweat and blood mingling on her skin. Her arms felt like lead, her pulse thundered in her skull, but she didn't lower her guard.

"Come on," she rasped out, voice rough as gravel. "Come, if you still can."

Satoshi's eyes bulged, hate burning bright through the pain. With a strangled cry—half scream, half death rattle—he lunged again, blade flashing.

CLANG!

They met once more, steel against steel, sparks flying into the blood-soaked dust. The shock of it trembled through Kyouka's bones, but her resolve stayed unshaken.

Their blades clashed again—CLANG!—steel ringing so loud it rattled in Kyouka's skull. Sparks scattered across the bloodstained ground like dying fireflies.

Satoshi staggered, his head lolling grotesquely on ruined muscle and skin, blood still gushing from the earlier cut. But hate burned hot in his eyes.

"Hhhhh… fuck… you…!" he hissed, breath ragged and wet.

He lunged again, swinging his blade wildly but his balance was broken and sloppy.

Kyouka saw it in that instant. His left arm trailing uselessly, his step uneven, the desperation dripping off him thicker than the blood pouring down his chest.

CLANG!

She caught his swing, the shock numbing her arms to the bone. Her breath came hard—haa… haa… haa…—but her gaze stayed cold, locked onto every flaw in his form.

Another swing came—shhk!—barely missing her cheek.

And then she found her chance.

With a tight breath, Kyouka twisted her body and SLASH!—her blade carved deep into his shoulder, nearly severing his right arm.

"AGHHHHH!" Satoshi screamed, voice cracking into a wild shriek, blood spraying in an arc.

The limb hung by a strip of flesh, twitching uselessly.

His blade clattered to the ground, metal ringing on scorched stone.

Still, he didn't stop. His head bobbed like a grotesque puppet, hate still burning in his eyes as he staggered forward.

Kyouka stepped in and SHUNK!—her blade sliced clean through his left leg, sending him toppling sideways.

"Ghhh—khhhh!" Satoshi choked, catching himself on his knees, blood pooling beneath him in steaming rivulets.

Another breath. Another cold decision.

She raised her sword high—hiss of steel through air—and SLASH!—cut off his remaining leg, sending him sprawling flat on his chest.

"AHHHH—F-FUCK—!" he shrieked, voice raw and cracking, spit and blood mixing at his lips.

His limbs were gone now, twitching uselessly in the dirt, blood spreading out in a growing pool.
