I Took A Succubus's First Time

Chapter 264: Whatever It Takes

Hina and the others pressed forward, each step heavier than the last, as they continued their trek toward the place with no name.

The cold wind had long since turned cruel, slicing through layers of clothing and magic alike.

It howled mercilessly through the vast, white expanse, its voice sharp like a scream echoing across the void.

The blizzard bore down on them with relentless fury, a monstrous wall of snow and ice that battered their bodies from the side and made them stumble as they trudged onward.

Ice shards lashed at them, stinging like tiny needles against their cheeks, arms, and legs.

The frozen wind swirled around them in chaotic gusts, threatening to knock them off balance at any moment.

Visibility had become nearly nonexistent.

It was just an endless sheet of white, with shadows dancing in and out of the storm like ghosts.

Their only salvation came in the form of a cave, dark and jagged, carved into the side of a frozen ridge.

One by one, they stumbled inside, shivering and breathless, the howling storm roaring behind them.

Inside, they wasted no time igniting fire magic to bring life to the dead air, forming flickering orange flames that cast distorted shadows across the rough stone walls.

Yuuna sat down, shuddering violently, and rubbed her hands together in front of the fire, trying to coax even a sliver of warmth back into her fingers.

Her knuckles were red and raw.

Even with the fire dancing before her, even with mana clinging desperately to her skin to fight off the cold, she could still feel the chill that burrowed deep, far past flesh and into the marrow of her bones.

She was freezing.

And so was everyone else.

Hina, however, remained apart from the rest.

She stood near the mouth of the cave, her silhouette framed by the swirling storm outside.

She didn't say a word.

She just stood there, motionless, her arms limp at her sides as if weighed down by grief.

Yuuna watched her for a moment.

Hina looked utterly devastated with hollow-eyed, her expression distant, like her soul had frozen alongside the world around them.

Of all of them, she seemed to be suffering the most. And Yuuna understood why.

She didn't believe she was grieving any less than Hina.

But… when she thought about it—about how this had been the first time Hina had truly connected with someone and let someone in—it made sense why she looked so broken.

She had touched him.

Held him.

Felt his warmth.

Shared something with him.

And more than anything… it had been her who met Kouhei first. Not Yuuna. Not Nagisa.

It was Hina who had found him.

It was Hina who had led them to him.

And now, it was only natural that she'd be the one to hurt the most.

Which was why—right now—Yuuna had to be strong.

For Hina.

For her faction member.

"Hina," Yuuna called out softly, her voice barely audible over the whisper of the fire and the distant roar of the wind.

Hina's head turned just slightly—enough to acknowledge the voice.

Her eyes, dull and distant, flicked toward Yuuna before slowly returning to the white void outside.

"Come in a little further," Yuuna said gently, stepping closer. "It's too cold out there."

The entrance wasn't being directly slammed by the snow anymore, but the freezing air that drifted in was more than enough to make Yuuna's body tense and her breath hitch from the sheer chill.

Still, Hina didn't move.

"I feel… much colder," she murmured.

Her voice was empty.

Yuuna didn't reply right away.

Hina kept staring into the snowstorm, as if she were searching for something out there—maybe Kouhei or maybe the past together with him.

Maybe the pieces of herself she had lost.

"It's my fault Kouhei died," she said suddenly, her words jagged like shards of ice.

"It's not your fault, Hina," Yuuna said softly.

But even as the words left her lips, guilt twisted in her chest like a knife.

She wanted to believe it wasn't Hina's fault—but deep down, Yuuna blamed herself too.

She was the one who'd provoked Souichiro.

She was the one who had ignited the fire that led to war between factions.

If she hadn't been so foolish—so incapable as a leader—maybe… just maybe… none of this would've happened.

But Hina wasn't done.

"It was me," she whispered. "I… I was the one who brought him to this world."

Yuuna stayed quiet.

"I've been thinking about it a lot lately. How I pulled Kouhei into this situation—a world he only ever knew through fiction. And then, watching him try to connect with people… with humans… it felt like I stole all of that from him."

Her voice cracked as she spoke, barely hanging on.

Yuuna still didn't answer.

Not because she didn't want to—but because she had no idea what to say.

"If… If I hadn't pushed him… If I hadn't invited him to have sex with me, none of this would've happened. If I'd just stayed the way I always was—isolated and alone—then maybe… just maybe… Kouhei would still be alive right now."

That was when she broke.

Hina's cries burst forth from her throat.

It wasn't a pretty cry.

It was messy.

It was ugly.

But somehow, to Yuuna, it was beautiful.

Because it came from her heart.

Then something warm rolled down Yuuna's cheek.

A tear.

She hadn't even noticed she was crying until then.

But she was.

She couldn't hold it back anymore.

She walked forward, slowly, and wrapped her arms around Hina from behind.

The moment she touched her, Yuuna's breath hitched, and a jolt of pleasure surged through her body like lightning.

It felt like she was about to cum.

Hina had lost control.

The power she possessed—the ability to make someone orgasm with just a touch—was completely unrestrained right now.

And prolonged contact… could mean death.

And yet, Yuuna didn't care.

She held her tighter.

Because right now, Hina needed something far more important than control.

She needed grounding.

She needed someone to pull her back from the edge.

And Yuuna was going to be that person.

"That's not true at all, Hina," she whispered. "It's not your fault. Really, it isn't. If we're pointing fingers, then blame me too. I was the one who brought Kouhei-kun into this mess. I was the one who asked him to go to the motel with me that day… the day that changed everything."

Her voice trembled as she spoke, tears spilling freely now.

"But I don't think Kouhei-kun would want us to carry this guilt forever. I honestly don't think he'd want either of us blaming ourselves."

Yuuna pressed her forehead gently against Hina's back.

"That's why… you don't have to blame yourself anymore."

And just like that, the silence was broken only by the sound of their sobs.

Both of them were crying now.

Both of them were mourning.

Both of them were drowning in the loss of someone they loved.

"Yuuna… we have to find that place… whatever it takes…" Hina murmured, her voice trembling slightly.

"Right…" Yuuna responded, her eyes meeting Hina's with the same fierce determination.

It wasn't a choice anymore—it was a necessity.

They had no other option.

If they ever wanted to bring Kouhei back… if they truly hoped to see his smile again, to feel his presence return from the void… they had to reach that place.

No matter how dangerous, no matter how far, they had to arrive before Kouhei's soul was lost forever, slipping through their fingers like melting snow.

Yui, watching them from nearby, had a serene smile dancing across her lips.

Unlike the others, her body pulsed with energy, veins practically glowing beneath her skin with pure mana.

Right now, she was overflowing with it—an endless rush of power coursing through her like a raging river just beneath the surface of a tranquil lake.

And it was all because of the Love Link she had performed with Kouhei.

That intense connection tethered their souls in a way that transcended logic and bridged worlds.

In essence, the subconscious world and the real one were no longer two separate planes for her.

They had blurred. Collided. Fused.

The Yui standing here was no different from the one in the other realm, because the connection had allowed them to share mana, thoughts, and sensation as one.

So when Yui experienced that Love Link with Kouhei in the subconscious plane, her physical body in this world had reacted accordingly—mana flooding into her system until it brimmed at the edge, ready to spill over. She radiated with it, humming like a tuned instrument.

"That's all well and good, but…" she spoke softly, cracking one eye open with a lazy smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. "Looks like they're gonna come and get me personally, huh?"

There was a lightness to her tone, but beneath it, there was a sharp edge to it, like a blade wrapped in silk. She knew what was coming. Because of her direct interference… because she had dared to pull Kouhei's soul while shielding it from the angels themselves… the divine had taken notice. And now, they were coming.

"For real this time," she added, "just when I thought things couldn't get any more interesting, those angels are about to crash into my life and make everything so much more fun."

She sat there, perfectly still, as if savoring the moment. As if daring them to try.

Fight with the angels. From the real world… and the subconscious one.

And this battle was far from over.
